The fundamental balance problem

General Discussion
I think the biggest problem with Blizzard's balancing is that they swing from one extreme to another, and they take too much time in between.

They should go for smaller changes in shorter intervals. This would make the balancing feel smoother and it won't risk completely breaking characters.
Nah. The fundamental balance problem is that they're trying to please both casual players and competitive/professional players all at once.

You can't have the best of all worlds.

That's also a big problem. But even if they prioritized one fanbase over the other, taking 5+ months to fix a broken character would still be atrocious
