General Discussion
aim up and down, they never stop jumping so just start aiming up whenever they hit the ground

The key to consistently hitting Genjis is to time his jumps. The double jump puts him high in the air. As he falls from his second jump his movement is very predictable. Time your cree shots to hit as he drops and you'll consistently 2 or 3 shot him in no time.

I'm one of the people who thinks he's balanced aside from his deflect hitbox...but...
What about the other 0.200 seconds your brain hasn't processed that Genji is deflecting? It's physically impossible to stop shooting that fast. You're essentially playing the lotery with Genji. ''Will he deflect now, or in about half a second?''

It's not possible to ''don't shoot at deflect''

You stop shooting BEFORE he deflects, predict it. The Genji has to predict your shot before you do it, it's possible for him to react to a Widowmaker's hitscan shot for example, he has to predict it.

Seriously, not everything is about reaction, it's also about predicting the enemy and outplaying them.

My general playstyle involves trying to be frustrating and disorienting to fight, confusing the enemy player is the best CC in the game
Bait/Wait for him to use dash
Bait/Wait for him to use deflect
Wait for him to use his second jump

Now you can try to hit him with an ability!

Or you can just wait for him to deflect / predict his deflect and shoot while he's not using it / won't use it.
How to shoot anyone, Know what theyre going to do before they do it.

They generally all do the same thing , Tracer's too.
If a tracer blinks in , you shoot her, you saw the direction she blinked from , you're already aiming where shes gonna recall to before she gets there.

Generally all chars do the same thing.

McCree sees you , or you shoot him , Stun grenade crap, ghost as reaper immediately, wait, kill.
