Mar 23 StarCraft II Low FPS Troubleshooting Guide Hello everyone! I've noticed quite a few people asking for help with low fps issues in StarCraft II. There are many factors that can affect the frame rate of the games you play and often this issue can be resolved by doing some basic PC housekeeping and walking through some basic troubleshooting steps. Instead of repeating myself, I've decided to write a guide to help those who are experiencing low frame rate issues in the game. The PDF guide can be downloaded here. It also covers the NVIDIA video card software settings as well as the StarCraft II in-game settings. I've copied the basic troubleshooting tips from the guide and pasted it below. For the non-tech savvy users among us, I've also included easy-to-understand step-by-step instructions for each troubleshooting tip, which can be found in the PDF document. Without further ado, let's get started. 1. Update Your Video Driver The latest graphics card drivers can sometimes provide a large boost in performance. To ensure the best graphics performance, it’s a good idea to keep your video driver as up-to-date as possible. 2. Reset Your Video Driver Settings If your graphics driver is already up-to-date, try resetting your graphics driver settings. Improperly configured application profile settings can cause low fps and resetting them to default values may help improve your frame rates. Support Page → https://battle.net/support/article/24142 3. Update The System Drivers Keeping all of the major system drivers (chipset, audio, network etc.) up-to-date is essential to the performance of your system. 4. Update Your Operating System Use Windows Update to keep your Windows computer up-to-date with the latest patches, bug fixes and performance improvements. 5. Perform a Clean Startup Some applications and services may interfere with StarCraft II. By performing a clean startup, you can determine whether a background program or service is the source of the frame rate problem. Support Page → https://battle.net/support/article/23848 6. Adjust Visual Settings in Windows Disabling many of the visual enhancements and graphical features within Windows can improve your system’s performance. 7. Check Your Power Options In Balanced and Power Save mode the CPU may not be running up to its full potential all the time. Enable High Performance mode to run the CPU full throttle and maximize system performance and responsiveness. 8. Check Your GPU’s Power Management Mode Another setting to consider is the graphics card’s power management mode setting. If it’s set to ‘Adaptive’, it may run at a lower frequency to conserve power. Setting it to ‘Prefer High Performance’ can increase the frame rate in your games. 9. Disable Windows 10 Game DVR If you face any performance issues while playing games, and if you don’t have any need for it, try disabling Windows 10 Game DVR. 10. Configure or Disable OneDrive If OneDrive is enabled your frame rate may drop if OneDrive synchronizes the folder while you are playing StarCraft II. If you are having frame rate issues and OneDrive is enabled, configuring or disabling it might help. 11. Set Windows for Best Performance for Programs While the ‘Adjust for best performance’ setting in the Advanced System Properties is set to optimize Windows for best performance for programs by default, it is worth checking this setting to ensure it is still the case on your system. 12. Optimize Your Hard Drive Optimizing your hard drive can aid in improving the frame rate in StarCraft II, especially if game assets like textures, models and shaders are loaded at runtime. 13. Check for Overheating Components CPU’s and GPU’s can throttle down performance to compensate for the heat. Make sure your system isn’t overheating. Support Page → https://battle.net/support/article/31363 14. Scan for Viruses and Malware If the system is running slowly, there is a possibility that it’s infected with a virus or malware. Scan your computer for virues and malware to ensure it’s still clean and not infected. Support Page → https://battle.net/support/article/27610 15. Check for Problem Devices Check for problem devices to ensure that there are no conflicts between device drivers or problems with any devices on your system. 16. Use the StarCraft II 32-bit Game Client If you’re running a 64-bit Operating System and are experiencing frame rate issues when using the 64-bit game client, try using the 32-bit client instead. Some players have reported better fps with the 32-bit game client. Support Page → https://battle.net/support/article/33881 17. Disable NVIDIA ShadowPlay & Streaming Service Increase your frame rate and save precious CPU cycles by disabling NVIDIA ShadowPlay & NVIDIA Streaming Service. 18. Temporarily Disable Your Sound Card Disabling your sound card will help you determine if the sound card is the root cause of the low frame rate problem. 19. Check for CPU Hogs Programs that require a lot of CPU resources can slow down your computer. Look for resource wasting programs that you can shut down to free up CPU cycles and check your computer’s CPU usage while playing StarCraft II. 20. Turn Off Search Indexing in Windows Windows Search Indexing is constantly running in the background. For users with a slow computer it can be benificial to turn off Windows Search Indexing. 21. Enable Intel Turbo Boost If your CPU supports Intel Turbo Boost Technology, it can run faster than the noted speeds. Enabling Turbo Boost will result in increased performance in applications and games. 22. Use High Performance Discrete GPU To ensure your games take advantage of the faster graphics card in your system, set the preferred graphics processor setting to the High Performance Graphics Processor. 23. Exit Battle.net When Launching Games In rare cases, the Blizzard launcher can cause high CPU load. If the Blizzard launcher is causing high CPU load on your system, set it to close itself when it launches a game to improve the frame rate in StarCraft. 24. Disable Superfetch Superfetch tries to improve performance by predicting which applications a user is likely to launch and preemptively loads them into RAM. Some players have reported improved game performance with SuperFetch disabled, so disabling it may be worth a shot if you’re experiencing in-game “stutters”. 25. Enable or Disable AMD Turbo Core AMD Turbo Core allows the processor to dynamically adjust the CPU operating frequency. Some users have reported better performance with AMD Turbo Core enabled, while some others have claimed that their fps drops stopped with AMD Turbo Core disabled. If it’s already enabled, try disabling it. If it’s not enabled, turn it on and see if that helps. Please keep in mind that while the suggestions listed above and the ones listed in the PDF document may help improve your PC's performance, they will never be able to improve it beyond the limitations of your system's hardware. If you're still experiencing low fps after that, I'd recommend running a system benchmark (e.g. PassMark) and compare your computer’s performance with the online results to ensure your system is running at the correct performance speeds. Mar 2 Starcraft II Crashing during matches since patch on 11/14/2017 I was in a co-op mission and the game suddenly crashed, now everytime I play co-op a weird bug happens and now I cant even play sc2SWORD163 Mar 2
Feb 8 Disconnections/Reconnect and latency issues So, the amount of lag time at the start of matches ever since the last patch have been unbearable. I've already had people quit coop matches and it even does it in Campaign mode. On top of that, when playing the campaign, every few minutes, it keeps saying my battlenet connection has failed, but it's not my internet or my computer. When matches end, it logs me all of the way out of my account, so I have to sign back in to get Battlenet service restored. But if I click another mission, it's the same problem all over again. It's bad enough that clicking "remember my account" almost works and hasn't since the option was first implemented, and even when it does, it doesn't remember my password. I'm exhausted with having to type my password on my home computer on my own account on the game I paid for, but I'm at peace with the fact that it may never be fixed. But I literally cannot play I have to deal with the constant pop up saying Battlenet connection has been lost or near constant resource stalls, and when I leave games or missions, I've lost all of my experience points or achievements that I would have had.Sheffield127 Feb 8

6m Unexpected Fatal Error, Failure to launch Stacraft II Downloaded Starcraft 2 again after years of not touching it, only to be greeted by "Unexpected fatal error" each time i attempt to launch the game. Nothing happens, i just get a error box. Ive tried compatibility mode, updating drivers, disabling backround processes, running as administrator, and probably a few other things at this point. Whatever the problem is, i evidently cant figure it out on my own. 3h Replays Not Showing Up in Game I had an issue loading SC2, so I reinstalled it. When I did so, all my replays disappeared when I tried to view them inside the game, it just says "no replays found". I can see them right there in the SC2 in the folder on my computer, but no new replays are coming in, so almost a months worth of games for me are no longer being saved. When I hit "view in folder" on the replay screen it takes me to the file explorer but it just takes me to my C drive. I've tried to move the folder around. No luck. I've tried restarting SC, restarting my computer, reinstalling the game again. Nothing I tried works. Other forum posts advised people in similar situations to change the settings on their folders to make sure SC2 could read and write in the folder but it didn't change anything for me. Currently I have my SC2 folder saved in three places: C:Users/Username/StarCraftII C:Users/Username/Downloads/StarCraftII C:ProgramFiles(x86)/StarCraftII And still nothing works. 4h Battle.net fails to complete update making SC2 and HotS unplayabl This has been going on since mid-2018, so I'm no sure what "version" is being upgraded if it has been multiple versions over time or still the original version. 11h After mission, cinematic full system crash. I've downloaded the free to play version and after the third or fourth terran mission, fatal error game and computer crashes, multiple computer restarts required. This also happens after a mission, and into the cinematic. Tried a protoss campaign and after the first mission, into the cinimatic, computer crashes, requiring a hard reboot, and sometimes a restart. Is this a free to play issue, or common one? 1d All Settings Resetting I can't play because when I go into a game, everything resets like my hotkeys. StarCraft folder says all permissions are allowed and one-drive is not running. This happened out of nowhere which means it is an issue on Blizzard's end. Please advise.BornToShred3 1d
1d [5 March 2019] - Connection problems for Southeast Asian players Hey folks, We have received reports of increased latency and disconnections due to an undersea cable cut on the way to our servers. This is primarily affecting players in the following countries: China Hong Kong Malaysia Singapore Taiwan Until the cable is repaired, players may experience connectivity issues. Unfortunately there is not a whole lot to be done to fix this on your end. You can try using a Virtual Private Networks (VPN) to work around the issue if this sort of program is legal in your country. Thanks to our players for reports of the issues, and feel free to post tests, information, or work arounds in this thread if you suspect you are affected. We will not be able to resolve this issue from our end, but perhaps the community can help eachother out to work around the problem. 1d Black screen on launch Hi I get a black screen on launch of sc2. I can't control+alt+delete out either. I have to restart or logout entirely. Game is up to date, video drivers up to date, and i've reinstalled the game. Same issue. I do see the mouse icon though, no sound though. I'm on windows 10 with a gtx 1070.NickY15 1d

1d Attempting to reconnect I accidentally clicked "log out" instead of exit on my starcraft 2 game. Then when I tried to log back in, it immediately said the servers were offline. I thought this might be a password thing so I tried all kinds of different passwords and I'm pretty sure one of them must be right. When I load the launcher, it says "suzina" in the top right corner, but also "attempting to reconnect" and has an image of two cords plugging and unplugging. 2d qwertz keyborad problems 2019 So after some patch in last 4 months, after each game startup, my grid layout always resets the bottom left key to Z. But on my keyborad this is Y. I have many times manually configured my grid layout for this key to be Y. But even though it says it will save the profile, when I start the game next day, the key is Z again. 3d War Chest Going out of sale Hello, Im a Venezuelan living abroad, and if you know anything about the situation, you know that we don't enjoy a fruitful economy. I've bought the 3 SC2 games with hard earned savings, and I'm very passionate about it. I love the new skins offered with the War Chest program, but I really don't have the money to invest in it right now. Now I'm not asking you to give me free stuff, that would be unfair to the other thousands of passionate player around the world, BUT I do feel it's a little unnecessary for you to end the War Chest sales. I feel there could be a moment soon™ where i could save enough spare money for me to spend on hobbies, and it would be a shame if it's too late. 3d I can't uninstall the game!! I have tried uninstalling it through my control panel as well as through the blizzard app and it still shows up as taking up 44.5gb on my hard drive. The blizzard app only gives me the option to reinstall it, the control panel (windows 10) says it is there and gives me the option to uninstall it but when i click it it does nothing. the game doesnt show up in my start menu anymore either. I am running windows 10, hp g72 laptop. Really would like to get this actually off my drive so i can play other games! Edit: This also has happened with Hearthstone. 3d Stuck on Entering Lobby after 'play again' It seems like I get stuck on entering lobby, more often that not, after playing a game of Direct Strike, and clicking on the 'play again' button/option'. So far I can't determine if time passed after reaching the score-screen has any effect. 4d LotV Save Failed I have an intermittent problem with failed saves whenever I play LotV (WoL and HotS work perfectly). I've had this issue since at least 2017 and it actually seems to be getting worse. Until my current playthrough, the problem was restricted to the Epilogue missions which was bad but not catastrophic, but now I've had it happen in the Prologue and primary story missions as well. I can't discern any pattern; some missions will work fine, others I have to finish in one go or else my progress won't save. I've looked at some other (old) threads but haven't seen a verified solution. I could really use some advice.Legolad0 4d
4d Won't run in 1440p anymore So I got a new freesync monitor and now my game will only let me choose 1080p or 1200p resolution options. I had a 3440x1440p monitor for years and I could run the game at 2560x1440 and it was fine. Now though I can only run the game at 1920x1080 or 1920x1200. Has anyone else ever had this problem? 5d SC2 sound problems with speakers/headphones Since a few patches ago, Starcraft 2 has really been giving me crap over my sound setup. I have a laptop computer, whose speakers suck, so I usually use headphones or a really nice pair of Harman Kardon speakers. Starcraft 2 will play sound through the speakers and headphones just fine. If I try to play music while playing the game, the music ONLY comes out of the laptop speakers. It WILL NOT play from the plugged in speakers or the headphones. 6d Starcraft game crashes after game start since last update StarCraft 2 failure in-game since last update Description Ever since last StarCraft 2 update, I am no longer able to play through a game without the game crashing. Also, my system (Surface Book 2; nvidia 1060 5 GB) immediately starts heating up once the StarCraft 2 is launched (in-game), even right at the beginning of the game which is less demanding in terms of stuff on the screen. I generally play an arcade game Gem TD and I can no longer complete a game without my system dying. Am playing on a Surface Book 2, where the video card is built in to the keyboard--and it is that fan that is going full-tilt boogie and heating up like crazy. It didn't do that before the last update. Very frustrating. Have tried updating vid card graphics driver (no change), am up-to-date on all system files. I am using a very high-end card in laptop (Nvidia 1060, 5 gb). Very frustrating. All other games on my system work without crashing.Guldo4 6d
Mar 13 Skins so I payed for last years skin pack which had access to the golden protoss, elite marines and synth zerg. I had complete a third of the pack when my computer decided to go dead on me for a couple of months till I could get it fixed into of which by this time the pack had expired. However I was hoping that since I had bought all 3 skins that I would get them all automatically when they become available for individual purchase but that has yet to happen. Mar 11 Getting Disconnected from the Server, in NA Hello everyone, I fired up the Campaign tonight to try and finish my StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm playthrough, as I was on the final Mission. Several times while playing, the notification popped up that I was disconnected from the server and Achievements were no longer possible to earn, but the issue would continue to quickly resolve itself, only to repeat a little later. While watching the credits, I was getting disconnected _a lot_. This only seems to be happening in StarCraft II, haven;t noticed it simply sitting on the desktop in the Battle.net App, and I haven't noticed it with general internet browsing or anything (so I suspect it's on the StarCraft II server end). Mar 10 Submit Ticket Issues So the problem I'm having is that all three games i play through the app (starcraft 2, Heroes of the Storm and Destiny 2) Crash when I try to start them up. Had the same issues a couple weeks ago, then the problem went away, only for it to continue yesterday. So because ive had these problems, I try to submit a ticket but no matter what I do, the "submit" option on the ticket stays grayed out. Mar 10 Can't play any matches in sc2 When i login my portrait is missing and in the chat box it says achievements have been disabled until further notice. The ranked play button is unclickable and the unranked button when pressed does nothing. In the custom games tab the pictures for all the maps are not there and the only thing that shows is the lobby name, number of people in the lobby and the host. Also it wont let me join any of the lobbies. In co-op i also cant search for a game. The only thing that works is the campaign. I've tried the repair feature and i've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but neither has worked. I don't know what else to do to try and fix it. Every time I alt-tab while playing sc2, the following pop-up comes out (and crashes my game): Error BLZGFX0001: Graphics device unavailable due to external interference. Please close any other programs which could affect your video performance or rendering (such as recording software) and then restart Starcraft II. Please help me Blizzard :( I'm not good with computers and I don't have a clue on how to resolve this. I haven't had this problem for more than 4 years. It was until I followed a Blizzard employee's direction to fix a different problem that ended up bringing this current problem. Mar 6 Game does not Load Last night I attempted to play SC2, and when it loaded it came with some strange buzzing/screeching noises, so I exited the game, and since the game fails to load. The screen goes black, as if it's attempting to put up the load screen, but just stays there, with the mouse stuck on the loading icon (spinning circle). Cannot alt-tab out, or even use ctrl-alt-del to get to task manager, just shoves me right back into the black screen. I attempted to open other Blizz games to see if it was just sc2 or not, and the audio thing happened when I opened Diablo 2 as well, but now it loads with no sound at all.Eternal2 Mar 6

Mar 5 Some advices for StarCraft 2 Greetings. I am from EU server, that's why you see the empty profile. Anyway, I have several prepositions that bothers not only me, but newcomers. Let us start with the interface: 1) Middle button camera movement - you probably saw that in options of the game that you are able to move your camera by press & holding the mouse scroll, but, really, the realisation of this mechanic is very bad. Though, if you compare Command & Conquer Series and Rome 2: Total War, you would find that their smooth-camera movement works quite good. In C&C series, you must press and hold the right mouse button, and then, you can slide throughout the whole map very smoothly. Same thing in R2TW, but instead of right button, there's a mouse scroll button, but mechanics are the same. So, what is the problem in StarCraft 2? - At the exact moment you press the scroll button on your mouse and move camera, the cursor is disappearing. - Right after you release the scroll button, your cursor would be at the same place. These 2 points are crucial, because I can't really feel exactly where I move my camera, and because of disappearing the cursor, I have to turn back my mouse at the same position it was. It's very annoying, the cursor should move like in R2TW, or like in C&C3 - you press the button, slightly move your mouse at the desirable point, at the camera will fly there until you release the button. Both mechanics are a little bit different, but realisation is intuitively good. I can't say the same thing about StarCraft 2. How many times I tried to get used to it - pointless. But anyway, let's move on. 2) Camera rotation - yeah, definitely, you can turn your camera at 45 degree to the right or to the left, but I dunno. This is 3D game, why don't you make the free-camera viewpoint as in Dawn of War series or C&C3? Because, sometimes it really needs to turn your camera to the completely different angle (you have the realisation of this idea as the "Mutator" in Co-op). So, why don't you just make it? Not only it would help the Spectators or Commentators to variegate the view point, but even for players to look for stealth units behind obstacles (mountains, terrain, or sometimes, units). And finally, if you don't wanna do that, maybe you will simplify the process of rotation the camera? Because those 2 buttons are kinda far from left hand, making the rotation quite complicated. For example, you may unite this ability in one button, and depends of mouse movement, control the area of view. Think about it. 3) Sharing the resources in Co-op - I am pretty sure I am not the only one who propose this, but really, sometimes it would be better to send resources to the ally, because he is able to gather up the better forces. For example, when you play with Raynor, he has lots of CC and Mule-up everything, but his forces, sometimes, are not that good. So, the better thing would be to send resources, but, it's unable. Or for example, when you accidentally lose your base, and you want to rebuild the base ASAP - the ally could help you. So, this function is also desirable. 4) Deleting type of units from selection after F2 - am I noob or I just don't know something? Okay, let me explain. So, imagine you have a lot of different type of units like Sentries, Stalkers, Zealots, Archons and etc. And right after you click F2 button, you need to delete only Zealots. What can you do? You may only press "Ctrl" button, and left click to the Zealots. But, you will pick them up, not delete. Really, I tried lots of combinations, but this thing I can't do. Why don't you make this one? This thing is very useful, for example, in C&C games. 5) Canceling the unit selection - what? Really? I can't do this, only when I am Spectator. I am aware about the "X" button (ESC button) at the bottom-left corner of the screen, but it doesn't appear when you play. So, the SC2 gameplay considers to constantly pick up units, but you really can't cancel the selection of them. Why? You have this mechanic, allow to do this for players. 6) Position of players - I find this quite objectionable when you create your own Melee lobby, you can't pick up the positions for players. It's not like "Must have" function, but it would be very nice if you provide that. 7) Personal Rating System in Co-op - pretty sure this idea was not only mine, but really, sometimes allies that were given to you makes me really angry. I play Mutation on Brutal, and my ally is 7 level Raynor who plays BattleCruisers... Really? I understand that you can't make MMR in Co-op, but at least, you may invent the system or filters... Let me describe it: System: the meaning is to make personal rating for players like "Does this player plays good or not" and 5-10 star rating. It doesn't mean that this player would be ignored or restricted to play, but at least it will simplify the process like "Should I leave this game now or I need to be sure that this player is useless?". Filters: For example, which commander you would like to see, what level, and how many wins he have before we start. Further information for "System" and "Filters" paragraphs would appear on the loading screen. I can afford waiting for proper ally if necessary. And please, don't say me that I need to have over 10k friends that I can 24/7 invite someone to the party. Okay looks like I finish with the interface problems. Let's continue for ingame experience: 1) Fog of War for Spectators: well, there are two types of FoW in SC2. First is when everything covered in black (no vision at all) Second is when you don't have direct vision. The key word is "Direct". When you have unit at some position, you don't have any type of WoF, but the problem is. Why the FoW exists for Spectators? I would like to feel the experience when all map is visible. Or okay, you don't wanna do that, maybe you would create the customizable option for this? Like, you want to completely dispose of FoW, or partly (As it is now, no direct vision). 2) Rewind versus 8x-speed - not sure my PC is bad: AMD Ryzen 7 1700X GeForce GTX 1060 6gb 16GB RAM Crucial Ballistix Game installed on HDD 7.200 RPM And... I don't see any difference between 8x speeding up and when I want to precise rewind to the moment I desire. Yes, it works good in backward direction, but not forward. Maybe you would fix that? Because, whenever I rewind the replay, everything is black, but performance of my PC use the same amount of resources that I don't see the difference. 3) Markers - I have the double-preposition for markers in this point. First though, imagine that you are a spectator with your friend. Why I can't drop the markers while I am watching the replay from someone's perspective? The only thing is to make the total view mode. Second, markers are mostly shown on the mini-map. And yes, players can correctly designate the EXACT point where the ally should look, and here we have two problems simultaneously: - For example, I want to show the ally multiple positions, and I have the limiter for 3 markers per cycle. 3 is very small amount. I understand some people are abusing it, especially in 4x4 games, but 3 is very dull decision. Could you increase the amount of markers? - And as I said, these land-markers for designation the exact point is not working for Spectators BUT, why Spectators may abusing them? Literally I can hold ALT key and drop as many markers as I wish, and it would distract other Spectators. So, here you go, make the limiter for Spectators and land-markers to designate the exact point on the map (As players do) and it would be okay. 4) Current area of vision on minimap for allies - it exists in Co-op missions, so each player may actually understand where exactly your ally is looking. Why don't you make this as customizable option for other modes? Because really I am feeling lack of it while I play 2x2 mostly, or while I am watching replay with someone else, I want to know where exactly they are looking. I guess, this is all I can remember. If someone want to add something, or I will recall something else, I would add it in this post. Mar 5 Starcraft 2 graphical setting suggestions are wrong So, I mentioned to the Blizzard CS account on Twitter that the graphical setting suggestions do NOT meet an optimal level of performance, and is instead absolutely unforgivable. As of writing, every graphical setting suggestion suggests, more or less, high settings, save for CPU-related ones, which suggest low settings. This is my specs: Operating System Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1 CPU AMD A10-5800K 120 °C Trinity 32nm Technology RAM 8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 798MHz (11-11-11-28) Motherboard ASRock FM2A85X Extreme4-M (CPUSocket) 26 °C Graphics Acer A181HV (1366x768@60Hz) 1023MB NVIDIA GeForce GT 730 (ZOTAC International) 30 °C Storage 931GB Western Digital WDC WD10 EZEX-75ZF5A0 SATA Disk Device (SATA) 27 °C Optical Drives HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GH24NS95 ATA Device CD-ROM Drive DiscSoft Virtual SCSI CdRom Device CD-ROM Drive DiscSoft Virtual SCSI CdRom Device Audio ASUS Xonar DGX Audio Device I'm not going to mention how badly the game is optimized, which it is, as a point of contention, I'm simply saying that, according to how the game runs, these settings do not give me good performance, or even remotely passable performance. I'll be playing for like a few minutes, but the moment the asset and particle count exceeds a certain number, I go from 50 fps, to 1 fps. Mind you, this is a computer that used to play vanilla Starcraft, on Medium-ish high settings with a completely solid 60 fps, and I had half the VRAM than I have now. 32-bit client doesn't fix my problem, in fact it runs even slower. Running the editor, doesn't matter if I run it in 64-bit, or 32-bit, it hangs for 5-30 minutes at a time, to just simply load a map with tons of stuff in it. I'm just letting you, the dev team, know that your game's graphical suggestions are incorrect. When you mouse over higher graphical settings than what the game thinks I should be capable of running, the option is highlighted Red. If my computer really isn't capable of running the game anymore, the game should either tell me this, or simply refuse to run for specifically given reasons. Due to the fact that I've reported bugs on technical support forums owned by Activision Blizzard in the past, and was totally ignored, said bugs given time to just never be fixed, even now, I don't expect anything to come of this. Could just be my biases, but I just don't see much coming of this. Decided to share this information anyways, however, because maybe someone can at least know my pain. Know my pain of playing the game at 1 FPS in a 1v1 mid-game because the game runs terribly on it's own. Also, the game never uses more than 25% of my CPU, despite 80% typically left unused, both clients do this. Maybe the 64-bit will spike up to 44%-ish, but yeah.StormyFacade2 Mar 5

Mar 5 Graphics device not available As the title states, I get a popup stating: "Graphics device not available at this time." It then prompts restarts, which I have done, and to come out here to the support site. I did note that this started happening after Microsoft pushed out a Windows 10 update. Mar 5 Unknown Error Hello. Every time I try to play a game of Starcraft, I see a window that pops up saying Error. There is nothing else in the orange window except a button that says "ok" that closes the window. Additionally content does not load on any tab except the campaign tab or the opening tab that you start on after launching the game. I can't even see my account picture. Mar 5 Stuttering in LoTV? Bought the campaigns for the first time and having a blast playing through them, but I started up LoTV after I beat the Zerg campaign and it just stutters every few seconds. Googling found lots of suggestions like switch to 32 bit, disable background programs, repair the game in bnet launcher. Been trying everything I can find for hours and still stuttering. PC is extremely modern and I have gigabit internet. Searching on this forum the last stuttering post was years ago so I'm assuming there is some fix I haven't been able to find?
