Nov 27, 2012 Separatist Space, III Please keep the majority of OOC posts in Separatist Space, Discussion. Thank you http://us.battle.net/sc2/en/forum/topic/7005438069 Separatist Space, the story so far... The RP takes place in "Separatist" space. Which is past protoss space. Some Terrans were exploring past protoss space (which is illegal might I add) and found even more intelligent lifeforms then they could imagine(all those custom races and such). With some funding from many governments and organizations, hundreds of thousands of colonists were being exported out from terran space and into distant space. The colonists got tired of being bossed around by all of their shareholders and pretty much announced themselves separate from the Terrans in Terran space. Hence, the lands they colonized became, "Separatist" space and the colonists became "Separatists" because they supported the separation of separatist space and Terran space. Many more events caused the separatist movement, but to sum it up in a few paragraphs, there ya go. Separatist Space, Backstory Entire colonies have been going missing, frigates carrying valuable cargo, gone. Terrans are still new to Separatist space and the Separatist Military is doing little to stop investigate. IMPORTANT NOTE This RP is extremely open, if you want to not engage in the main plot, that is totally fine, I would not recomend it but I will still allow it. Also keep in mind that at first you will have to pursue the main story, you will not start according to the main story. You will start out however you wish, wherever you wish.MarkusDaWise500 Nov 27, 2012
Nov 27, 2012 Separatist Space, Discussion Gwahaha! I'm excited for this RP and I hope you are too! Reading the whole OP isn't necessarily necessary, just skim it and read the bolded points that apply to you. Please keep in mind that I am no genius, I cannot remember every custom race you throw at me, so you will have to submit them here once again, thank you! Introduction to Separatist Space... Separatist Space is an incredibly open RP that allows for subplots of all sorts. You are encouraged to submit every custom race and to have as many subplots as you want. But please, make sure I approve of the subplots, I do not want subplots taking control of the real plot! To submit a custom Race or Faction... Tell me everything there is to know about the custom race/faction. I will discuss it a little bit with you, then boom! The race or faction dives into the story and you're ready to go! IMPORTANT NOTE ON CUSTOM RACES You have opportunity to have a counsel member, or an ambassador, in the supreme counsel whichever you choose. The supreme counsel is a government used to keep the peace between all the races. (If you've ever played mass effect you will know what this is... kinda) Please ask if you have any questions, as this is extremely important. To Join this RP... Fill out a character sheet and, make an entry, or if you prefer, allow me to enter you! <Your B.net ID name> Name: Age: Race: (Don't be afraid to be someone else's race!) Profession:(Some some ideas could be: Pilot, Computer Specialist, Droid Specialist, Mechanic, farmer.) Equipment: Backstory: (Must include how the character got associated with Separatist Space) Defining Characteristics: (Optional) If this character is a captain, make it obvious, also put the ship's name and stuff. Separatist Space, the story so far... The RP takes place in "Separatist" space. Which is past protoss space. Some Terrans were exploring past protoss space (which is illegal might I add) and found even more intelligent lifeforms then they could imagine(all those custom races and such). Nov 26, 2012 Temporary resign I've had some issues with carpel tunnel lately. So after speaking with a doc, I had my arm checked. The check revealed the obvious carpel tunnel, as well as an unneeded muscle build up near the bottom of my forearm. This unneeded muscle is built by extensively using a mouse and keyboard. This restricts the movement and reaction speed of my wrist and finger joints. Along with cramps that it can cause. It also attributes to putting stress on the median nerve (helps cause carpel tunnel.) The doctor decided to have this muscle removed, along with the necessary operation for carpel tunnel, doing them both at the same time saves money and time. But the downside is that after the operation, I've got to take at least 2 weeks off, taking it easy so to speak. I'll be mostly absent from the forums until then. (To much SC2 over the break :/ )Duke3 Nov 26, 2012
Nov 26, 2012 From Order Comes Chaos PreRP Alright it is time for me to try again to run an RP. I have made this thread here to start setting the story and the plot. It will also be used for character sheets to keep the main thread from being cluttered. This RP will take place fifteen years after the events of Techsuit warfare just to give an idea of when the timeline is. All of Koprulu is under one government known as the Collective Triad, which replaced the KSA a few years after the plague had ended. There are two sides that can be joined in this RP and the is the fore mentioned Collective and the Poltergeist Mercenaries. Now in regards to the character sheets. The format is as follows. Name: Age: Race: Loyalty:(Collective or Poltergeist) Class: SubClass: Abilities: (This is more for unique abilities since your class and subclass will determine your other abilities. You only get three.) Armament: (Again for more unique weapons. Class and subclass will determine your weapons.Only three additional at most please.) Backstory: Classes will be posted shortly.LeKroger142 Nov 26, 2012

Nov 25, 2012 Drinking game anyone? Hello all! New to the forums/SC2 in general. A buddy and I like to play Starcraft at the apartment on the weekends (we just moved in and now it's a ritual), we're looking to make a drinking game out of Starcraft online. Sounds silly but it's great fun! We've made a drinking game out of a deck of 3D Star Wars cards and now we're looking to expand our game collection. Any ideas of what rules to take shots/drinks could be? All ideas are open and awesome!EzCombat10 Nov 25, 2012

Nov 24, 2012 Pikachu's (Cough) PRP Bar (Part 3) The code of conduct remains mostly unchanged my friends, what I say goes, and the Hybrids in the back haven't been fed recently. (Please excuse me while I fix that) Now to the important stuff... Drink menu: A Jim Raynor -- Cheap, harsh, and served up warm in a filthy glass. A Tychus Findlay -- You’re not actually sure what it is, but you spilled a few drops and the counter is still smoking. The Zeratul -- It isn’t served to you, instead it appears from the shadows. Then, when you try to drink it, you experience weird visions and the glass disappears. Zergling “Special” -- “Hello my baby, hello my honey, hello my rag-time gal…” Firebat -- Burns goin’ down AND comin’ back up. Psi-Storm -- Hits so hard you’ll remember what happened tomorrow, yesterday. Grounds for Divorce -- Matt Horner was drinking these when he “won” a fateful card game. What He’s Having -- Kachinsky always seems to be in here, so whatever he’s having must be pretty good. Baneling Body Shot -- Are you sure this is a good idea? I’m not sure where to put the lime... A Glass of Milk -- “Whaddya mean there aren’t any cows in Koprulu? Where’d this come from then?“ The Solar Shot -- For those looking for a good time. Flame-proof clothing recommended, cuz you’ll be shining brighter than the star of Typhon. Korhalian BackStabber -- Good for the recently betrayed and left for dead. The Jail Breaker -- new from the recently opened New Folsom Prison Bar. The Bloody Medic -- kills the pain, but we still say you should have a doctor check that out. Redstone Mixer -- expensive, but I can guarantee it’ll be served in a clean and sterilized glass. Careful, that lava’s hot. The Broadcaster -- You’re not ready for the raw $ex appeal this sucker brings. A favorite of a certain ex-convict. The Hellracer -- suspension of sobriety is an integral part of any drinking experience, but this experience requires suspension of sobriety and inhibitions. The Maelstrom Shocker -- Only served here, a 40% bigger hit than standard Shockers, guaranteed. Psionic Cooler -- yes, I know it feels weird. Don’t worry, the energy coming out of your body should wear off in a couple days (insert generic letters to indicate gibberish) -- I don’t know what’s in it either, but that guy down there had one. He started screaming and thrashing for a while, and now he hasn’t gotten up off the floor in over an hour. The Judicator -- Perfect for influencing the minds of the intoxicated. Prismatic Void -- Gets better with every drink. Has been known to be lethal. Mind Shredder: perfect for those wishing to forget everything and start a new life. For anyone not wishing to do this, this drink isn’t advised. Scotty Bolgers old no. 8: the good stuff Andorian Ale: Can’t tell you how I got this, its a trade secret. Charge: Made using stim and several other ingredients. Side effects vary. Mjolnir (Thor’s Hammer): If you really want to feel hammered, this is for you. Served with a side of hot lead. Enlightenment: tell me when you get there. Marine: may cause you to see the counter vanish Feedback: served cold. All those annoying voices in your head start telling you what you did wrong today. M.U.L.E.: Good buzz, but may cause a break down later. Haven Splitter: you’ll either feel warm, safe, and content, or depressed, paranoid, and possibly like injecting yourself with random serums. 50/50 shot. Ace Suicide: I don’t actually know what this does. Nor do I recommend it. Alcoholic Projector: Ever wanted to know what you’re actually like when you get totally trashed? Take a few sips of this, and all the alcohol in your system will condense into a ‘party’ version of yourself, where you are completely wasted, have no inhibitions, and are just out for a ‘little’ fun. The more you’ve drunk beforehand, the better the projection. Have fun! The HBRB: however crazy you think you are, this will make you worse. Yes, that includes you, namesake. The Noodle Incident: we all know what happens when you take this. It needs no explanation. Little bit of everything: Exactly what it says. I’ve taken everything I’ve got, mixed it together, and put in the laser accelerator for a few hours. There’s no telling what will happen. Slicer: Has the unique property that it changes effect depending on the drinker's personality, amplifying any traits they have a good thousand times over. Buzzes in the back of your skull begin after three drinks, amplify slowly, and you randomly sprout wings after the 11th glass. The Scoutmaster: May result in the drinkee feeling experiencing high levels of Trustworthiness, Loyalty, Helpfulness, Friendliness, Courtesy, Kindness, Obedience, Cheerfulness, Thriftiness, Bravery, Cleanliness, and Reverence. Not Recommended for parties. Mar Sara Black: need a pick me up, or something for radiation poisoning? Or jut something to get a good buzz going that doesn’t break down? Then say good night, because we won’t be seeing you until the morning. If you wake up. The Smylez: This beverage is delicious, trust me. Drinking it will have absolutely no harmful effects on you (please ignore the green smoke), and your liver and kidneys will not be damaged in the least. Seriously. Nukester's Supreme - Some said he was crazy, he said they were right. After much struggling, he added this drink to the menu. Crimson red and transparent, this steams, and condensation will gather on the glass. Take a sip, and go for a ride, anything could happen. Side effects may vary; depending on weight. Only consume in shot glasses. Nukester is not responsible for any changes in behavior, or appearance. See your doctor if it gets in eyes. Drink accessories: pylon shards (for those that need that extra crunchy glitter) hydralisk spine umbrella (not for the more bubbly drinks) Mentos: you’ve seen that experiment with Coke? Wait till you see what happens with this stuff. Laser accelerator: Heh heh, you think you’ve had it all? Time for a little ‘randomosity’. Maximum time of one week. The menu will updated every so often, so check back to see if there is anything new you might like to try. There are only two rules here: If anyone starts a bar fight I will either: 1) throw you into the pen of Hybrids I keep in the back. I feed them regularly, but you know how voracious Hybrids are 2) personally lock you up in my dungeon and make a drink out of you. and 3: what happens in the bar, stays in the bar. So come. Drink. Enjoy. Chat with friends. Make new ones. Pick up a date [or a one night stand ;) ]. Drown your sorrows. Complain about your life. For those of the literary bent, use this opportunity to get the creative juices [among other things] flowing. As long as you pay your tab, and don’t break anything, I really don’t care what you do. And the best part is: no hangovers! Seriously...smylez182 Nov 24, 2012

Nov 24, 2012 With Respect, Sir... Your goal is simple: advance. You will begin as a child (P/T/Z), and mature/grow/evolve, respectively. Credits will be earned each day, like in ZZ. 50 a day, with +5 for every longish (Paragraph or more) post. Use your good judgement. Ask me for upgrades, and I'll tell you the cost. You are a little one, living in a small community of P, T, or Z. When you grow to be about adolescent, something special will happen. For now, just be a good little one and flesh out your character. One we get a suitable amount of people, the fun will begin. Examples: Protoss: X was in XXY, a small mining settlement. Life was...boring. X wanted something more. X had dreams, dreams, and more dreams. For now, his only life was learning how to mine. Eventually, eventually... Terran: Tom was in school one day, when he realized something... he could suddenly "Hear" everyone, even when they weren't talking. He kept this to himself, though, and used it to spy on people. Tom was shy, but he knew an advantage when he saw one (Or so he thought...) But his "gift" may turn against him, especially with the Terran Local Forces looking for new recruits... Zerg: Narz (me) was a philosophical little Zergling. When his Queen told him to clean the Creep off of him, he did it, but he thought little indignant thoughts while doing it. Later, he knew, he would be something great, like a Hydralisk. He had always respected Hydralisks. Or maybe even an Ultralisk! For now, though, all he could do was muse... This can be an RP or a group of stories. Up to you all. Note: If you want to be a cat, you ca be a cat. Maybe you can Mind Control a human vessel or something. As long as it works, it works.Vultureling106 Nov 24, 2012

Nov 23, 2012 In Honor of PKA(side stories) .... The academy is sadly finishing, and I would like to give it some kind of memorial. So.... Welcome To PKA's side stories, where we create humorous events that could have happened in The Academy if it wasn't cut short, or even prologues and epilogues. Let me first clarify. This is not A Roleplaying thread, it is a story thread. Anyone can post a story involving any character in PKA, but if you do so, please try to keep the characters in, well, character and provide feedback to the story posted directly above you. For example, I could write a story about something Cayl does, even though he isn't my character. For easy cataloging, please write the story number on the top of the story. I'll start it off. Story number one- The kitten It was a normal day at the academy. Kasora the lurker was going off and teaching his broodlings how to take pictures, while the rest of the members were eating lunch. Some were eating in the cafeteria, but a few decided to eat in their room. Abel, of course was napping in his usual place above the lunch line, on top of his spear. As Akia passed him by, she wondered. How deep was his sleep? She first decided to remove a permanent marker from her jacket pocket. After removing the cap, she taped it to a stick. Slowly but surely she started to draw cat whiskers on Abel's sleeping face. The entire cafeteria suddenly hushed. Everyone was staring, Raven was silently cheering. Cayl was watching with amusement. Shade was sticking out her tongue and silently mocking Abel. Flint and Jessica stopped their conversation and just plain stared at what was going on. Abel's face twitched slightly, but his eyes remained closed. After a hurried dash to her room, Akia returned with a headband with fake cat ears attached to it, and a tail. Akia slowly put on the cat ears, and clipped on the tail onto his belt loop. Abel, at this point curled up into a tiny ball, making the resemblance even more hilarious. Cayl was choking on his laughter, and Shade was only restraining herself because of Raven covering her mouth. It was going well until Akia accidentally touched his belt where he kept his medical supplies. Abel awoke in a righteous fury, "Don't you dare touch my medical supplies!" He said while pushing off the hand. He slipped off of the spear he was sleeping on. He then noticed that everyone was laughing. He turned around and looked at a mirror. His expression changed to one of bewilderment. It then transformed into one of anger, which looked completely hilarious because of the whiskers drawn on his face. He started to step forward to Akia, tail twitching back and forth. Two days later. No one had seen Abel and Akia for about a day, and the rumors were flying all over the place. Eventually one day at lunch, Abel walked into the room. Due to the cat whiskers being drawn with permanent marker, although faded, it remained on Abel's face. Then something strange walked in after him. There was a cat with an indignant expression, dragging Akia behind it with a leash. The cat was walking on its hind legs. It meowed indignantly, as Akia curled up into a ball and napped. If anyone could speak cat, then they would interpret the meow as, "Abel! I told you I was sorry, switch my body back to its original state already! Put my soul back in the right body!" Raven picked up the cat by its front legs and commented, "Aww! What a cute kitty!" The cat stared at Raven with a withering look, and spat in his eye.Fantasy13 Nov 23, 2012
Nov 23, 2012 Not sure where else to ask this... I was looking to buy the discounted WoW expansions this weekend, but I'd like to know how exactly the deal works. Nov 21, 2012 Company of Brothers II Introduction A man clad in black had arrived into a room full of recruits. Some were eager, others didn't want to be here, some wanted to discover, but they couldn't know about the project just yet. For it wasn't kept secret for a reason. A medical station was quickly set up, with personnel to examine the recruits, looking for any abnormalities, and asking questions. Each recruit stepped forward as each doctor looked them over, they started to ask basic questions. [Name, age, gender] "Who are you, and what is your age?" The doctors had their clipboards out. After asking the recruits these questions, they went to the next step. That was when they went to a closer examination. [Appearance] Eye color, hair color, build, appearance. This was all for future reference. They were then measured for their height and weight. This was to make sure they were fitted in the correct gear. [Backstory and previous job before joining] The recruits were then tasked to take a simple test to learn about some of their skills and traits, this was to figure out how they would be paired with others. They also had to give a brief history of their life, ranging from experience to almost anything. As long as it was beneficial to hear about. The recruits that passed were now sitting near a table, the ones that passed were also given the rank of Private. As these individuals were all new to the military. ========= Don't worry about the story plot so far, for this is an introductory and it's supposed to expand as we go on. Everyone will start out with some simple military gear, for you all will be keeping track of your own equipment. Which means it's also your duty to get new equipment like armor and gadgets later. You have to be Terran. And you have a chance to promote, of course.CrymsonRaven143 Nov 21, 2012

The three capital ships, a Leviathan, a Carrier, and a Dominion Battlecruiser, were locked in heated fighting trying to gain air superiority so they could clear the way for their ground forces to take the prize, in this case a large Xel Naga temple which was probably the only reason any of the three races would come to the lifeless rock. As if given a silent command the normally dark Xel Naga structure was suddenly lit up with glowing blue lines almost like the veins of some massive creature. The four outlying Obelisks lit up and blue tendrils came out the top and snaked across the battlefiel like the heads of some multiheaded beast. They slithered across the battlefield and suddenly projectiles fell to the round in mid air as the tendrils sucked up every last bit of momentum and energy from them and converted it to energy and transfered back to the temple. Needing more energy the tendrils started sucking up all energy based projectiles. The temple was insaitable and the tendrils started draining the power from machinery but even that was not enough and then they started to drain the very life out of everything around it. The tendrils didnt kill when they drained, for that was not what the Wanderers from Afar wanted, their victims were just put in a coma like state. Just as the tendrils started to head for the three capital ships and air forces they returned to the obelisks for the mighty temple's was finally sated. The obelisks which were now glowing a pure, bright blue suddenly started to feed their energy to the temple which ran up each of the pyramid like temple's for vertices and gathered up top in one of the largest khaydarian crystals seen in the sector. The now glowing blue crystal realesed the energy in a beam of pure energy that shot right up above the now quiet capital ships. The beam stopped at a certain point and it was clear it was opening a vortex. The now monstourous vortex was sucking up everything on the battlefield into its maw and even the mighty capital ships were sucked in to its ever expanding maw. The vortex had now pretty much cleared the battlefield except for a few burrowed Zerg which could not forever escape because soon the vortex was lifting up several feet of earth with the Zerg included and sucked them up. As quickly as the vortex was created it suddenly closed in the blink of the eye as the energy beam had stopped feeding it. Their was no trace of a battle at all. Time:8 hours later, unknown planet's atmosphere. High in a planet unkown's atmosphere a vortex suddenly opened and instead of taking in, it let out. Everything the vortex on Deimos sucked up, the vortex here expelled including the capital ships. The 3 large ships crashed onto a contenient in the North Eastern hemisphere of the planet with. South of the contienent was a hupe island chain and possibly another contienents, East was an ocean and another contienent and out west there was water and even more landmasses. The other forces spewed out were scattered all across the planet. The planet is a paradise but it is more than meets the eye. Guidelines: You start out by your race's respective capital ship OR somewhere else but give good reason why you (And if you have one, spacecraft) were not smashed on impact) Overall I will not DM each race much but I will once and awhile (like a ling scouting party gets sent or an observer is sent out etc) I will mostly be DMing the wildlife but YOU CAN NOT DM the wildlife other than than the creatures I introduce until later. (Youll see why later) Ill be mostly controling the enviroment as I said before.Overall thats really it, Character application is the same as normal so have fun!!! Nov 21, 2012 Separatist Space Please keep the majority of OOC posts in Separatist Space, Discussion. You will start out however you wish, wherever you wish.MarkusDaWise500 Nov 21, 2012

Nov 21, 2012 Company of Brothers Introduction A man clad in black had arrived into a room full of recruits. And you have a chance to promote, of course.CrymsonRaven500 Nov 21, 2012
Nov 21, 2012 ~Ascension of Demonica~ {Roleplay} Ascension of Demonica Information on Azjoria History and Background           Azjoria, for centuries, had been a land with only peace in it. Over the course of time, the greedy Humans, always in need of more land, attempted an assault on the grand and mighty Dwarves. They were beaten back and once again, peace was everywhere.           But, all of these years of doing nothing but the normal brought unrest to all of the races. Of these races, the Demonican were the most in need of something to do. Their civilization was the most “finished” of the many races, leaving them with much less to do. Along with this, Demonican naturally liked to fight. But still, they kept their peace for years to come. But eventually, those years did come.           The Demonican searched for power, more than they already had. Their finest mages scoured the lands, looking for ways to gain more power and strength. Alas, all of their searches were unsuccessful. They asked the wise and great stone giants, the Cazzin, the young but strong Humans, the ancient and mysterious Elves, the mighty Dwarves, but still, nothing. Through all of this searching, they did get one hint though.           An old legend, the Fountain of the Magi. Legend said that an old Magi of the Cazzin had once gone there. So that his people would possess magical abilities in the future, he dumped his own blood into a fountain. Of course, the Cazzin do have magical powers but nobody knows if this was passed down or if they truly did gather it from the fountain. Either way, it was the Demon’s lead.           Balgazan, the Lord of Demonica, and Hisarth, leader of the Demonican Primes, went with their finest magicians to the rumored location of the fountain. They also took many guardians with them, and one of the Primes. The Prime and nearly all of the guardians died in the journey there, but they found the Fountain.           Balgazan and Hisarth, both wishing to stay alive, allowed their mages to drink from the Fountain first. Within minutes, the power began to show. The mages’ muscles bulged out of their skin, and the very essence of magic floated around them. Growing greedy, they consumed more and more magic, and became so immensely filled with power, they combusted.           From the combustion came the Fiends. Fiends are an overflow of magic mixed with any emotion there is. The majority of the newly formed Fiends either had the emotions Rage or Greed. They possessed no body, only the essence of magic into any form or shape they desired. The Demonican drew away from them, but eventually took them back into their armies.           The Fiends let corruption grow on their Demonican allies, tainting them and enraging them. Soon the Demonicans were driven into rage to attack their once allies, the Humans, Elves, Dwarves, and all of the other races. They even forced their own Undead into battle.           The other races came together, and after decades of war, they formed a plan to permanently be rid of the Demonican. The very thing that gave them power would be their undoing. They forced the Demonican leaders to the Fountain of Magi and drowned them in the very waters that powered them. Afterwards, they crushed the fountain, ensuring the Demonicans would never return.           But their plan was not foolproof... Human The most obnoxious and arrogant of the races, ranging from 5 to 6 feet and living 75 years on average. Led by High Chancellor Magram and the Grand Council Halfling The Human side of Halflings, they are usually half the size of Humans, living about half their age as well. Led by Sir Statherwert. Half-Elf The more Elven side of Halflings, they are usually half the size of Elves, living about half their age as well. Led by Lady Avilia and Master Ridoge. Elf Fair beings, usually 6 to 7 feet, often live for about 1000 years. Led by Queen Thenalia, King Vingrad, and the Council of Ancients. Giant Huge beasts who use clubs. They are easily over 20 feet tall on average, living short lives to the age of 50 or so. The Giants have no true leader. Fiend Dark incarnations of emotion, mixed with magic. On average, they are 8 feet tall. They survive until their magic runs out. The Fiends are led by Lothravar and the Black Council. Demonican Horned beings covered with scales and other assortments of nasty things. They normally live several thousand years. 7000-9000 on average. They are on average 8 feet tall. Led by Balgazan, the Demonican Primes, Grard, and Rivgal. Living Dead Any of the fleshed races who have been revived. They live until they're killed. Led by the King of Bones. Dwarf Essentially, mining-loving, short Humans, who live about 150 years on average. Led by the Guardian, Ogrithner. Cazzin Cazzin are rock-like giants, living from 900 to 1000 years. They are all about 11 feet tall, on average. Led by Baron Drong. The Lands Verin-Halfling, Half-Elf, Human, Elf, Giant Verin is a large and grassy island, filled with forests and mountains. It is a great place for large colonies and armies. Draurth-Dwarf, Cazzin, Giant Draurth is a snowy mountain land, covered with craters and depressions from the war of Humans and Dwarves ages ago. Lerala-Demonican, Living Dead, Fiend, Corrupt Half-Elf Once a lush and beautiful island, Lerala was corrupted by the Demonican. They tore down the trees and forests, and replaced them with rocks and desert. Frazul-Fiend, Human, Dwarf, Halfing Frazul is a wonderful mix of all biomes and terrain. Some areas are covered in snow, other with lush forests. Raroth-Cazzin, Corrupt Cazzin, Living Dead, Half-Elf Raroth is a swampy and foresty island, not very pleasing to the eye. Racial Information Humans and Halflings           After the plains of Lerala were overrun by Demons, Verin was the nearest and most suitable location to rebuild. Most of the fleet remained intact, along with some of the military and civilians. After ages of rebuilding, they found the Elves had moved there as well, and were at war with the giants. The Humans seized the opportunity to attack, hoping they could end the Elves once and for all. The Elves had brought far more troops, which surprised the Humans. By the time any naval forces would arrive, they would have retreated. So the Humans regrouped with their navy and attacked the Elves. After the horrible battle ceased, the Elves proposed an alliance. Through much more war, they established a mutual agreement. As time went on, the Elves taught them their ways, and peace was established on its own. The empires merged together, forming the Human-Elf Alliance, the Esraeal.           From both survivors of Lerala and many pioneers from Verin, Humans went to Frazul. The Dwarves there had no problem with this, though, they did keep the Humans away from their immense mountain forts and their precious gems. The Humans did eventually assault the Dwarves, catching them unawares. Both the Dwarves and Humans took prisoners, and forced them to join their military. This led to the Halflings. They were treated terribly by both Dwarves and Humans, due to being so unusual. Dwarves put them in their mine shafts, with few breaks and many whippings. They were used as meat shields by the Humans, allowing Humans to infiltrate the Dwarves without the cost of more troops.           The Halflings, of course, were tired of their treatment. A few managed to escape from each of the encampments, and went into the plains far away from both Humans and Dwarves. There, they found the Fiends. They remained away from them, but the plains of Frazul were extremely fertile and the Halflings were colonizing it, and few escapees were coming to their main camp. They attempted to form an alliance with the Fiends. The Fiends accepted this, though they shapeshifted into animals to raid the Halfling farms, leaving Halflings barely alive, but still there.           Human religion revolves around their three main gods. Gravd, Yeryin, and Vassramo. Gravd is the god of change, Yeryin is the god of war, and Vassramo is the god of peace. Most Humans worship all three, as to maintain "spiritual balance". Others worship only two, or one, or none at all. Their religion is unproved and debates with both other races and within their own kingdoms is common.ElementFive25 Nov 21, 2012
Nov 20, 2012 Dacder's PRP Bar. (Part one). The code of conduct remains unchanged my friends, what I say goes, and the roaches in the back haven't been fed recently. There are only two rules here: If anyone starts a bar fight I will either: 1) throw you into the pen of Roaches I keep in the back. I feed them regularly, but you know how voracious Zerg are 2) personally blow your head off, and use your dead body to make new drinks and 3: what happens in the bar, stays in the bar. So come. Drink. And the best part is: no hangovers!Dacder4 Nov 20, 2012

Nov 18, 2012 Conscientia: Planet of Knowledge There is trouble on a distant planet in the Korpulu sector. A group of thirty-one rouge spectres has been tracked down by the Dominion to their base on the planet Conscientia which is Latin for “conscious” or “knowledge”. That is an appropriate name for the group of spectres that collects knowledge. Unable to flee the planet in time, the spectres have called from aid from various mercenaries. Their contacts include freed zerg broods, free roaming protoss fleets, and lost or rebellious terran forces. The vast knowledge that the spectres have gained from each of the races is vast indeed. None of the mercenaries could hope to find that kind of information by themselves. That is the price for their loyalty and service. The mercenaries are paid with technology. That is the deal. Three options are given to the role players. You are allowed access to the spectres. You may take a spectre and make him or her your own character, but the rules are many. No spectre would betray the group despite the differences they may have. The group is like a fraternity in that regard. You can be Dominion forces. If you decide to take up the red flag you will receive 250 supply and given command of a company. You will have a superior and you must follow his orders, but only for the big stuff. You control your group by yourself unless you are given orders to the contrary. You will have ordinary technology as the Dominion. The last choice, and the most dynamic, is the mercenary group. Not only can you be any of the three races, you will be given access to a variety of interesting technology provided by the spectres. The technology will start at the basic level, affecting only tier one units. Then as time goes on, you are allowed to pick from a list of technology to develop upon until the end of the RP. The only downside of the mercenaries is that you will have only 200 supply and they will be outnumbered at least 4:5. Neither side can make or produce more units, so be careful. Pick your favorite. Be prepared to set up a description for any group or person you want in case I need you to switch over to balance the sides. Hero characters will play a big part in the plot. I, myself, may have as many as thirteen characters. Make sure to make a description of your hero character. The character will be either a spectre in my group, a commander of a Dominion company, or a commander of a mercenary group. They shouldn’t be a one man army that can kill a thousand men by him or herself. We have to be reasonable. They can be genetically altered like my character Daniel Cobb who was powers similar to the characters in the Prototype videogame series, but they have to balance out somewhat. As long as your commander stills alive, you are still in the RP even if your forces are destroyed. You can make other characters besides your commander of course. Please note that every mercenary commander will be assigned a spectre supervisor. If your hero IS one of the spectres, then you may supervise a mercenary group as well. The Dominion does allow psionics to be commanders from time to time, but they control special operations usually. If you take a Dominion psionic, then you will be a black operation commander and will be given a company as usual. Choose your heroes carefully. The setting and plot is the final point here. The battles take place on the planet Conscientia in the far reaches of the Korpulu sector. The planet is Earth-like and is 70% ocean. The gravity is slightly higher than Earth however. Similar to the darwven grand city in the Inheritance Cycle, the spectre base is located on a mountain overlooking a forest covered valley below. The entrance to the valley is narrow, but that is less of a problem because of drop ships. The valley is 3 miles long (about 5 kilometers) and a mile wide (1.66 kilometers). There is a plateau large enough to hold all the mercenary factions at the base of the mountain. Vast tunnels snake inside the mountain. Here the spectres’ have built their den. Here is where the magic and the information are stored. No one from the Dominion is allowed to take one step inside. This is where the final line is drawn. Ladies and gentlemen prepare for a fight as you are immediately thrown into combat. As the battle looms, both sides plan for the battle and there will be bloodshed. Choose your side and pick your commanders. If you are a mercenary, then the longer your side survives, the better you will fare. You will gain technology as time goes on. If you are Dominion, the harder it will be for you to win as time goes on. Plan carefully, attack the weak spots, send your spies, coordinate your movements, and, most importantly, survive. Choose your hero well and prepare yourself for assassination attempts. Lock your windows and doors. Be vigilant. The line has been drawn and here the battle will be held. Prepare yourselves and do not let your guard down. It is up to you to do your job. Good luck, commanders.Thecommander500 Nov 18, 2012
Nov 18, 2012 A Party on Char (SPOILERS) It was all just to keep the troops minds at ease while on that terrible, fiery red planet (about the same color as my dra.pes at home). We were sitting in the trenches, on April 19th, waiting for orders. That's when our good friend Tychuse Finley had a good idea for some fun. "Hey lads, it's four-nineteen right? Only a few hours until... FOUR-TWENTY!" With that, the troops cheered and waited for something more that words, and that, that is what Tychuse delivered. He promptly grabbed an empty stim needle, filled it with a blunt, and got ready. "MERRY FOUR-TWENTY EVERYONE!" And then Tychus injected a big fu.cking blunt into his arm, and later died that night from Mari.juana overdose. He never even got to stay up for 4/20. This is how Tychuse really died, the other story about him being shot by Rainer was all a spoof.Nightshade19 Nov 18, 2012
Nov 18, 2012 If... The random question thread, where any weird question goes. The goal here is not to produce useful discussion, but rather a reaction of revulsion, hilarity, or downright confusion. First question: If... You were about to die of starvation in a canyon, and a rock fell on you and severed your arm, would you eat your own arm to survive? Random question.KnarledOne342 Nov 18, 2012
Nov 16, 2012 Markus' PRP Bar (Part 1) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ebGuKeuT_0MarkusDaWise5 Nov 16, 2012
Nov 15, 2012 Thunder's and Zanon's PRP Bar (Part 2) The code of conduct remains unchanged my friends, what I say goes, and the roaches in the back haven't been fed recently. So come. Drink. And the best part is: no hangovers!Zarkun500 Nov 15, 2012
Nov 15, 2012 A Starcraft Wedding cake!? So I've been playing Warcracft, Starcraft and Diablo since before I was 9 y/o. So, I'm looking for someone to custom make a one of a kind Starcraft Wedding Cake!!! I already have a good idea for what I want but I need help creating it. Picture Jim Raynor, in Marine suit, and Sarah Kerrigan, in white Ghost uniform, standing on top of a three layer cake surrounded by zerglings and hydralisks! They are crawling up the slopes to kill their victums while the pair are gunning them down! So what I'm looking for is someone, or Blizzard, to help me create this epic cake before my wedding day. Ideas anyone?Sazuka6 Nov 15, 2012
Nov 14, 2012 Narz the Zergling, Part One Possibly updated daily! This is NOT a plotline. This is meant for you, dear reader, to come read something random on a random basis. Part One: Futile Wars Narz was a sad Zergling. His Hive was in a war of attrition over a planet that was rapidly losing its resources to fuel the conflict. It seemed the epitome of futility to our poor, philosophical Zergling friend. So, he called an Overlord Limousine, and he escaped the conflict quietly. Only to meet a passing squadron of Vikings. Oh, the futility. (Writing time: 1 minute) Part two: A Rather Medieval Problem Luckily, the Vikings were pacifists. Sadly, by the time Narz realized this, he had pledged himself and his Overlord to their service in a desperate attempt at life. While the Vikings WERE pacifists, they were also vikings. Vikings riding Vikings. What could POSSIBLY go wrong? Find out next time! (2.5 minutes) Part Three: Next Time, Gadget! Lots went wrong. Mostly Vikings trying to pillage everything in sight, then remembering they were pacifists. In the confusion, Narz escapes on his Oversine. His Oversine, however, was out of Overfuel. He hadn't fed it in the past 3 episodes, for crying out loud. (.75 minutes) Part Four: Overfuel is Easy to Come by And by easy, I mean the Overlord was munching on his exhaust. He has no pride... Nov 14, 2012 The Fall (Story) Jarayn surveyed the battlefield around him as he walked towards Zeratul's forward base. Nearly seven hours has passed since the Zerg have landed. He shook his head. He was there when Aiur fell. Though the fighting in Aiur was bloody and destructive, what he saw today trumped that. His eyes wandered aimlessly across the scorched earth. In the distance, a pair of towering colossus continued to fire upon the retreating Zerg forces through the hills. Their beams were a spectacular display in the perpetual twilight of the night. All that Jarayn saw was the tattered and smoldering bodies of the Zerg that littered the landscape. The broken husks of Protoss machinery also littered the field. The losses were significant, more so for the Protoss. Jarayn closed his eyes again. He saw them wave after wave descending relentlessly and the carnage that ensued as the blade fell down upon the flesh. They have driven them back for now but at what cost? His eyes opened once more. The colossus made one final sweep of the area and incinerated several hapless hydralisk that were left behind. A strange stillness fell on the land as the silhouette of the colossi faded into the shadows and the last of the overlords disappeared over the horizon. After so much fighting since the Zerg invasion began, Jarayn's senses became accustomed to hearing the feral screaming of the Zerg and the painful death throes of his brethren as the swarm tore at them. Though he welcomed the calming silence in his times of meditation upon the indigo and mesmerizing lakes, this silence was suffocating.smylez6 Nov 14, 2012

Nov 11, 2012 "Myth" (Story Planning) Myth I'm really getting serious now! This is indeed the new title for my new story I'm going to construct similarly to how my original story was. I'm really looking forward to starting it as soon as my lore studies are done~! This time, there will not be derpy moments, not so much sudden change, and all-around less things that wouldn't hardly make sense~ I intend this to be entirely and utterly flawless~I'm going to ask you to be critical with me as soon as I start posting it as well. That means... -Pointing out Grammar Mistakes -Pointing out things that make no damn sense -Pointing out Lore Clashing (I will make up a few things with this story, but they will fit in with the Starcraft 2 lore better) -Any additional Criticism you see wise to add So please, help me along with this! If you guys like it and it starts getting as good as Story-Jay the Ghost, I'll seriously consider creating a website dedicated to my stories, :) *EDIT* I've decided this is just my brainstorm thread/a place for you guys to give me tips, advice, and whatnot, :P This time, I'd like to try and keep the actual story thread as clean as possible from side comments and whatnot, so people don't have to skip though comments to seek for new chapters like in Jay the Ghost. ALSO~Check here for my reasons for doing this if still curious, http://us.battle.net/sc2/en/forum/topic/3123363601?page=23 It should me my newest postMockingjay102 Nov 11, 2012
Nov 11, 2012 Lost (RP application thread) Time: Dawn on Deimos, Soon after the Second Great War started. Their was no trce of a battle at all. Time:8 hours later, unknown planet's atmosphere High in a planet unkown's atmosphere a vortex suddenly opened and instead of taking in, it let out. (Youll see why later) Ill be mostly controling the enviroment as I said before. Overall thats really it, Character application is the same as normal so have fun!!! So come. Drink. And the best part is: no hangovers!Zarkun500 Nov 11, 2012
Nov 8, 2012 Joey Rays Bar Website & next age RP I've spoken with Zarkun, and he told me to show the alpha build. It's coming along smoothly, but I've still got work to do. The plan is (at the moment) that when the site is finished, everyone willing will create a new Email, and will be able to join a group. That group will be allowed to upload media, chat, view the database, so on and so forth. This allows you to use an Email that is not your personal one. The Email you create does not have to be used after the initial log in, but remember your password, as you are the only one who will know it. At the moment, the Email you create should not be used for anything but logging into the site when necessary. Do NOT Email anyone else with it, with the exception of members. Do not use it to sign up for ANYTHING. This makes is so that the Email is safe & secure, and so that you don't need to worry about another Email account. At this moment PLEASE do NOT create the said Email, an official Email tag will be created after the site is finished. Also, you are required to use Gmail for this Email account. Note, this is in Alpha the plan might change. Check out the first build. https://sites.google.com/site/joeyraysbarwebsite/ Thoughts, feedback, ideas? This topic will not leave this thread.Duke36 Nov 8, 2012

Nov 8, 2012 The Return of Tyranny, PreRP/discussion This RP is mainly to experiment with different stat style combat. I will give a basic backstory and the war will begin. I will also be coming out with new ideas as well as implementing some of your ideas. Classes: Soldier ~ If it shoots, you can use it effectively. Great chances in battle. Skilled with heavy pistols, Assault Rifles and sniper rifles, submachine-guns or shotguns. Psionic ~ Whole hearted psionic. Psionics can read minds, sense things and perform all psionic powers. Skilled with heavy pistols and submachine-guns, sniper rifles or shotguns. Mechanic ~ Mechanics are tech specialists that are good at manipulating the environment. They can easily reprogram mechs or fix a tank at the same time. spectre ~ Effectively combines Soldier with Psionic. Skilled with heavy pistols and submachineguns or shotguns. Infiltrator ~ Infiltrators are tech-savvy warriors, able to win battles by quickly disabling and killing enemies. (Soldier-Mechanic) Guardians ~ Guardians effectively combine mechanics with psionics, making them ideal for space combat. Abilities are not listed but each character starts with 1 ability to customize their unit with. They can be made up as long as they follow what your class is. Credit goes to Smylez and MarkusDaWise Make whatever character you want! Use your favorite character, or create a new character, it really... honestly... does not matter. Character Sheet: <PlayerTag> Name: Age: Race: Class: Health: (Default is 50) Shields: (Default is 20) appearance: Background: (Optional) This will be used for combat: http://www.wizards.com/dnd/dice/dice.htm Common Abilities: These are abilities that Anyone can use at any time during combat. Critical strike: add +2 to the roll of the dice, but if your opponent still beats you, he damages you 50% more. Recommended for do or die situations. Powerful Strike: Adds 25% damage IF it makes contact, otherwise your opponent does 25% damage on you. Flurry: Adds 25% of your chances, but deducts 75% of the damage. Block: Reduces the opponents next strike's damage by 5x Damage level. Dodge: Reduces the opponents roll by the level of dodge. Melee: 30% chance of stun and damage is done according to Melee level. === BACKSTORY The lights flickered for a few seconds before returning to their usual flash of red. The titanic class flagship battlecruiser shook and rumbled you out of your bed and onto the floor. "Attention, multiple hull breaches! Man your battle stations!" The voice of the ship manager came over the intercom and through the speakers. These are never good conditions to wake up in.MarkusDaWise57 Nov 8, 2012

Nov 8, 2012 Quote Thread Since Thecommander has came back I decided to restart a famous thread he made. Basically quote someone "Before you do anything think, 'Is this what Sky Lynx would do in my position' and you will not go far wrong." Sky Lynx, an Autobot from Transformers Generation 1 with an ego thats a little to big.MechaGhidrah69 Nov 8, 2012
Nov 6, 2012 So, Selendis is HOT~ ~do you suppose I stand a chance with her? Halt! Let's say that sentence in a more formal manner. Do you think Selendis, the sole female High Executor of the protoss, will make more appearance in the future campaign of the Swarm? Let's put it this way. There're going to be ZERG. A lot of them. And I doubt Selendis would sit and watch on the sideline when there's infestation going around. I persuaded rebel commander James Raynor to side with Selendis on Haven (and purged the whole planet, including the hypocritical doctor lady Hanson). That has to count for something.FerikJoker7 Nov 6, 2012

Also, would you be willing to disclose info about the irl gaming group? AS FOR THE OTHERS! I need you to bump this until Zannon sees this. This is all that I ask of you, as an Rper, as a member of this community, AS A FRIEND.NickDaMan28 Nov 6, 2012
