Halving the Roaches on their summon seems the best 'first draft' idea. The structure attack can keep the full 4 Roach effect. I'm fine with Charging Protocol – absolutely love this spell. If they need further balancing look at a bit of a cooldown – nothing too long, but enough to cut back on having multiple waves out at once. Roaches can be made stronger to compensate if needed.I do really love this unit and hope they don't change it completely.Also, two usability tweaks. 1: they really need to raise the priority of burrowed Infestors, as right now they're dead last. 2: let us rally the eggs.

I've been playing mostly Zergling/Corruptor + ~10 Infestors. The choice of Zergling/Corruptor has been for a range of reasons, though:It plays nicely with allies, as it has a fairly low footprint and doesn't get in the way of Marines/Reapers/Adepts/etc.It's easy – I'm still learning Stetzone control and Gary use.I'm in a honeymoon period with Corruptors that can do something vs. ground.The three Amon compositions right now don't counter it very well.It's very mobile and handles objective DPS well.As for adding a few Infestors, they're just extremely fun and effective... and mass Infestor is a …

Just... give it some time, at least. Both you, and the players talking about how mass Infestor is absurdly powerful, haven't had time yet to fully get to grips with Stetmann. I think my camp is much more right than your camp but ideally we all just hold off on the sweeping claims for a bit.

I really like how they've implemented the 'support commander' concept with him. He can really help allies, but it's neither too easy/automatic (like Guardian Shell) or too skill-dependent (though his support kit has a high skill ceiling). I'd probably find it a little frustrating to have an ally who only used the FAST field and didn't spread Stetellites well, but I'd still appreciate faster reinforcement. Yeah, Talv's right about the implications. I just tested it, Glevig and Dakrun 'die' (de-spawn) if their lairs are destroyed, but Murvar currently doesn't. It's a pretty low impact bug because I can't imagine many Dehaka players regularly lose lairs while having the corresponding pack leader out. And the only outcome of it is that the game is a little bit less cruel to you.

I've seen rankings that place the top three favourites as Oblivion Express, Scythe of Amon and then Void Launch, and worst three as Dead of Night, Vermillion Problem and Cradle of Death. My favourite is Malwarfare, and least tied between DoN and CoD.I don't think offence vs defence matters too much. I'd avoid any mechanic that's fiddly (CoD and VP), any mechanic that makes good play too degenerate (DoN), and probably any forced co-op too (CoD, L&L, CoA).
