This is an open RP, most of the character creation will be very custom, you can be very original about it but noting Overpowered. You can use any race, any gun, and any armor as long as they are balanced well (and I will do a lot of moderation of this).

Background
The Shattered Private Military Group is hired by the Moebius Foundation to find and infiltrate a Dominion Research facility. The facility contains research on Protoss, Zerg, and humans alike. Possible reports of [DATA EXPUNGED] as well. The team’s main objective is to land in the desert of the planet, dubbed Euclid III, away from any sensors or outposts. The facility is heavily guarded from the perimeter itself, but scattered along the jungle and some parts of the desert are outposts, that function as full fledged bases, able to create quick response forces, and dispatch Kill-Teams quickly at one sign of trouble. The team will have to rely on stealth, and fast-hard attacks to infiltrate the facility without being overrun by the Dominion. The task is not impossible, but it will be hard. The team will be dispatched vehicles and equipment as needed.

Briefing
“Alright, Shards, this is your mission.” The burly commander points at a holographic globe of Euclid III. The globe rotates to the desert portion of the planet, the dead center to be exact. “This will be your designated landing point, here you will have a mobile operations center, also known as the MOC-9 Command Ship.” The hologram changes the schematics of the ship. (for a visual reference, here’s this: http://www.deviantart.com/art/SC-8-Platypus-cargo-ship-359703407) "This ship functions as a cargo ship, command center, and an attack vessel. This is a new prototype piece of equipment, so if you lose it, well, you won’t be leaving that planet. Anyhow, this is how you will keep in contact with us, store any spoils of war, and essentially carry out your mission.” The Hologram changes back to the planet, now marked with x’s scattered along the surface (mostly concentrated in the jungle area, very few in the desert) and one big circle in a dense, mountainous area of the jungle. “Your mission, is to infiltrate the main facility, get any intel, specimens, or whatever, and bring it to the Moebius Foundation without compromising us, or the client. Or dying, but that's a given. I will warn you. These x’s are outposts, most are capable of creating quick response forces to aid one another, nearly all have Kill-Teams housed inside. You’ll have to disable comms, obliterate them before they know what’s going on, or kill em’ in their sleep, but that last one probably won’t work. The jest is you do not want to have to deal with the kill teams, but take note, some are housed inside the outposts. Those teams normally have Ghosts, elite Marines and Marauders, and Combat Medics. Those medics are trained to kill you by the way. And I mean, murder you but anyways, you all should be able to do this right? Right. Any questions, you can ask the intelligence department about, because this is all the intel they gave me. One more thing, you'll all be dressed as Raiders, or wear their emblem in some form or manor. Dismissed!”

Details: The jest of the background of this roleplay is you are an elite team of Mercenaries. You have been a team for a while (unless you decide to be newbie to the team and/or the organization) so you should all be comfortable with one another and understand eachothers' strengths and weaknesses and tactics etc. You will be landing on the planet Euclid III, specifically in the middle of the barren half of the planet. Your team will need to destroy outposts to acquire resources, better gear and overall control of the planet. You will periodically receive Your ship is your mobile command center, if it is destroyed, the mission will be much harder, but not impossible. You will be fighting armies made on the dot so stealth is a good factor here, dodging kill teams and overall nearly constantly fighting with few days of rest in between long periods of fighting.

This RP utilizes a dice system. Depending on your characters abilities, gear and the environment will depend on how many dice is rolled, the more rolled, the more chance in your favor. However, if you are a CQC expert, using a sniper rifle, expect results to not be in your favor. This system will be used primarily for environmental events and chances for loot. Only sometimes for major battles.

Age: Young. 16-19 by his looks.

Appearance: At 5' 6" and thin as a rail Fox looks as if he was malnourished at some earlier point in time before he was finally able to get three good meals a day; what with his light sinewy muscles seemingly grafted to his small frame as an afterthought. Given his youth, Fox still has the face of a child, though it's quite obvious he's not one anymore. He wears his dirty blonde hair in a short mop, just short enough to keep it out of his empty gray eyes. Fox's only visible disfigurement is a brutal series scars across his throat, presumably the work of a knife.

Fox wears military camo clothes suited for whatever environment he's in.

Equipment:
- E-Rifle: A relatively large and disproportionally light compactable sniper rifle, the gun is made with reverse-engineered Protoss tech. Running on an unknown internal power source, the gun requires no ammo but must be vented of heat every few shots for sustained firing.

- 5mm AP gauss dart machine pistol

- 6" combat knife

- Light body armor

- Camo paint kit

- Other extraneous gear

Abilites:
- Child Soldier / Assassin: (marksman, stealth/infiltrate)

- Survivalist: (acute senses / situational awareness)

- Mute / Code Master: Given the hideous scars on his throat, it's no surprise that Fox is mute. As a result of this, he's learned to communicate with a combination of universal & military sign language as well as morse code. With his reliance on on non-vocal communication, Fox is highly adept at breaking and reading coded messages & signals of all kinds.

Bio:
As the young man never 'speaks' about his past, all one has to go on is the stories. According to the few rumors that exist, Fox supposedly came from an outback world embroiled in a long, vicious and very bloody civil war. It was there that he learned everything he knows about the 'art' of war before buying his way off-planet as soon as he was able.

Name: Damian Hendricks, callsign "Stalker"

Appearance: Damian stands at six feet tall even with ice blue eyes and deep red hair cut to be styled in a spikey fashion. His face is framed by high cheek bones with full lips, a scar running down his left cheek from an accident involving a storage shelf. When off duty, wears black combat boots with digital camo pants, a black T-shirt with the Shatters symbol large on the front and a half length leather jacket over the t-shirt. Always has the pistol and short swords with him.

Weapons/Armor/Equipment: Twin short swords with blood red blades and runes subtly carved into them, .45 caliber semi-auto pistol, Sigfried DMR

Silent steps (passive)- Moves silently even when armored.

Blade Master (passive)- Extensive training with his swords has made him one of the best Terran weapon's masters in current history.

Bio: Damian Hendricks, a man with little history and a large body count, enlisted with the Shatterers via holocall. After confirming his name, skills and enlistment fee, he was sent coordinates to rendeavous with a pick up ship. When questioned of his past, he merely says he's from an obscure planet that see's few outsiders as visitors. When questioned about his scar, he laughs. When moving some equipment around in a storage room, the person helping him tripped and knocked over a shelf, the edge on one of the ends cutting his cheek as he moved out of the way.

Name: Amanda “Patron” Claire
Appearance: 5’ 6”. Thin. Standard Spectre HE-suit, Raider emblem on shoulder. Blue eyes, partly bloodshot, platinum blonde hair. Unscarred face, with a lack of any seriousness in her features. Low cheekbones, small nose. Unassuming would be the best word to describe her.

-Modified C-10 Canister Rifle V (Flashlight, Laserlight, Psi-energy(Found in the VI)) (Sniper Rifle)

Abilites:
Psionic Suppression: Amanda suppresses her own psionic abilities, making her harder to detect psionically but also making her unable to use her abilities.
Psi-Speed: Amanda augments her armor with psionic energy, increasing her speed to the point where she is merely a blur to bystanders.
Pyrokinetics: Part of her early obsessions as a child manifests in an offensive dump in psionic energy, boiling enemies in their armor and melting metal.
Mind Scan (passive): A sixth sense of sorts, allowing Amanda to see through walls, sensing heat through walls like a thermal sensor, although it is not completely limited to that. The sixth sense also gives her an advanced warning when someone approaches while invisible.
Cloaking: Standard Cloaking unit. Wears Amanda out while using it.
Bio: Former Ghost turned freelance Spectre, with an extreme love for fire. Amanda joined up with the Shattered while looking for a job, speaking some on her past but admitting to not being able to completely remember her past. She worked as an ‘accident maker’ as a Ghost, carrying out assassinations which seemed like gas leaks that were lit up at bad times. Being released from the Ghosts brought back most of her personality, but some dark habits either still remain, or were brought out when she was freed.

Appearance: Standard Firebat, first gen. Buzz cut, medium-length black beard. Scar on right cheek. Bright and alert hazel eyes, heavy-set build.

Stimpack: Speeds up reaction times and movement, but damages user.
Bio: When Cameron joined the Dominion Marine Corps, and wanted to become a Firebat, people thought he was insane. But with over forty close encounters over 20 years in close combat, while in an outdated suit, even those who doubted him were suitably impressed. Although he enjoyed his work as a shock-trooper, he didn’t enjoy the pay the Dominion gave him, and went freelance. He joined up with the Shattered after working with another company to burn hives down on Outer Rim planets. While en-route to meet his new employers, he bought some shoulder-mounted rocket launchers, and upgraded the old Flamethrowers with some left-over ones from the UED, along with repairing damaged and old plating.

Name: Zeran and Yal'so

Appearance: They have the Raider's symbol emblazoned on their shoulders plates, away from the body on the other side of the Khaydarin crystals. The twins have dark and rough skin, with eyes that shine the colour of their Khaydarin crystals. They stand an average 3 meters tall and clad in relatively standard High Templar armour.

Zeran's colour scheme is gold metal and violet crystals, with the shoulder wings pointing away from the body. It is slightly more cloth covered than the norm.

Yal'so has a platinum metal and teal crystal scheme with rounded shoulders, lacking in wings. There is also more armour in itself.

Weapons:
Psi Blades (Medium-Heavy Wrist Sword)-
Of course, y'know. Long wrist blades made of pure Psionic energy, meant to cut through pretty much anything.

Psionics (Explosive Willpower)-
Well, self-explanatory. It is to be elaborated in Abilities.

Armour:
Protoss Energy Shields, produced by both their Armour and their Psionics. As well as a lighter armour meant for movement, but highly durable due to its place of origin. Yal'so's armour is thicker than usual to absorb more punishment, and his shields buffed slightly as well. Zeran has the standard thickness, however, there is more power going into the shields.

Energy Shields fall under Medium for both. Armour falls under light for Zeran and medium for Yal'so.

Abilities:
Telekinesis (Active-ish I suppose)-
Able to move things with their mind and provide blasts of psycho energy. This includes Psi-Storms and Psi-blasts, their ranged attack method.

Telepathy (Passive/Active)-
Communicate with their mind. They can intrude and read the minds of others.
If they wish to focus everything on it, they may take over a weak willed mind. They are incapable of doing anything during this time.

Merge (Active)-
A last ditch attempt to save others. Likely will be used towards the end of the RP or when I feel exiting is appropriate. The twins merge together to share their Psionic power to form an Archon. Will burn out, leading to their deaths.

Feedback (Active)-
Turn the electric, chemical, and Psionic energy of something back on the source.
(I felt appropriate to separate this from Telepathy/Telekinesis because you can damage Machines with it with it)

Bio:
Zeran and Yal'so were born to the Templar Caste as identical twins, a rare anomaly among the Protoss. The two grew up finding their way to do everything together. Even up through their combat training, in which they both took on the promotion to High Templar together, albeit Yal'so being unorthodox in this way. Every battle they went through, preformed together perfectly. Acting as one being in a way almost as much as so as an Archon. As human studies suggest, non-psychic human twins have a odd link. This has obviously been exemplified by their Psionic nature and the Khala collective link that they access.

Splitting off to travel on their own after having gone with Executor Tassadar, and with the Conclave's fall, they left their people to rebuild themselves. They would slay Zerg as they go, and have now found themselves aiding the humans who wish to destroy a new threat.

Name: Seth "Seeker" Keirn

Appearance: Average height, agile body build focusing on endurance and dexterity. Normally wears a long lightly tattered black robe with a hood concealing his face and body. When off duty wears cargo pants and a black t-shirt, and sunglasses when its bright out. Tan skin, black hair, Asian descent.

Weapons: SGMR - Soul Ripper 14 DMR, http://korozain.deviantart.com/art/Dark-Rifle-333850080 (very, very, very rough drawing). Fires 8.5x55mm rounds, can be powered by "Dark Arts"
SGP - Claw . Attachments - Mid-ranged scope, fore-grip, suppressor
45 Pistol, reliable, powerful .45 caliber pistol. Attachments - suppressor, small 4x scope, laser light, variable ammunition.
2 SGB - Feeder Knives. Double bladed (in relevance to the hilt vertically, so when held there is a blade on both sides of your hand, best way I can explain it). Made of durable Shadow-Steel, and are deadly weapons when used in melee combat and when thrown. Can be returned to the user with special magnets on the users gloves.

Armor: Ghost-Plate Light Reconnaissance Armor - Light, durable nano-fibre suit that slightly augments the users strength, agility and provides shielding. Shadow-Steel armor plates cover parts of the arms, the shoulders, parts of the legs, the chest, back and hands/feet.
Tac-Sit Mask - Tactical Situation mask, has active HUD, sensors, comms and tactical data provided by many scanners and software.

Equipment: Grenades, D-9 Explosive Charges, Motion sensor balls

Abilities: Dark Arts - A form of psionic power used to augment the users fighting ability and sometimes the battlefield. Seth uses it to augment bullets, making them much more powerful and to mentally strike fear into his enemies, making them less combat effective.

Telepathy (self explanatory)

Shadow Walker (Passive) - Former Shade Gheist training and his personality combined make him very calm in even the most tense of situations, increasing his effectiveness in battle as a leader and a combatant.

Bio: Former Shade Gheist Dark Operative, when he left their ranks to find a job more suitable for his tasted, he found the Shattered Private Military Organization. They are relentless, covert and elite. The way he likes it. He is the leader of Shard Team Zeta (our team) and is very quiet and introverted when not in a mission. He keeps to himself and can be found most of the time reading when not doing work.

OK, going to be honest. Dressing up like the Raiders or having their emblem on you is going to be sort of limiting. Especially since Raiders don't use heavily customized gear.
Should probably put that all you need is an emblem on the shoulder or something like that, doesn't have to be anything specific or like a Raider. Just need the emblem somewhere.

Telekinesis (Active-ish I suppose)-
Able to move things with their mind and provide blasts of psycho energy. This includes Psi-Storms and Psi-blasts, their ranged attack method.

Telepathy (Passive/Active)-
Communicate with their mind. They can intrude and read the minds of others.
If they wish to focus everything on it, they may take over a weak willed mind. They are incapable of doing anything during this time.

Merge (Active)-
A last ditch attempt to save others. Likely will be used towards the end of the RP or when I feel exiting is appropriate. The twins merge together to share their Psionic power to form an Archon. Will burn out, leading to their deaths.

Feedback (Active)-
Turn the electric, chemical, and Psionic energy of something back on the source.
(I felt appropriate to separate this from Telepathy/Telekinesis because you can damage Machines with it with it)

Bio:
Zeran and Yal'so were born to the Templar Caste as identical twins, a rare anomaly among the Protoss. The two grew up finding their way to do everything together. Even up through their combat training, in which they both took on the promotion to High Templar together, albeit Yal'so being unorthodox in this way. Every battle they went through, preformed together perfectly. Acting as one being in a way almost as much as so as an Archon. As human studies suggest, non-psychic human twins have a odd link. This has obviously been exemplified by their Psionic nature and the Khala collective link that they access.

Splitting off to travel on their own after having gone with Executor Tassadar, and with the Conclave's fall, they left their people to rebuild themselves. They would slay Zerg as they go, and have now found themselves aiding the humans who wish to destroy a new threat.
Very nice. Don't expect a lot of non-humans so this is a good change up. Accepted.
