Getting lag in play v ai and custom maps but nothing else.

Technical Support
Title says it all. Sometimes it won't even start a game v ai and when it does it quite often lags me out. It literally drops me from a bot game. I've also had times where all the boxes where you chose your race etc are just completely blank and won't load.

Can play desert strike and other arcades no problem but when it comes to a 1v1 map all hell seems to be breaking lose.

I know its not my computer struggling as i have it on full graphics for desert strike and not a blip.

Anyone know what causes this?

edit: also getting dropped from 1v1 games
Hey, Megamind! This sounds like there may be some connection or network issues so it's having trouble loading. Let's try the following:

If it continues, could a WinMTR test be provided while running the game for 10-15 minutes?
Cheers for the reply
Tried all the above and still the same. Actually worse today. Before i could get in some games but today i can't even get through an ai game.

Sorry for the delay, Megamind! Is this still occurring? How long has this been going on?

My concern here is there's some packet loss and a bit of a spike. Are you currently wired or wireless? What are the router/modem models in the household?
| 192.168.1.1 - 1 | 448 | 444 | 1 | 3 | 100 | 5 |

If wireless, let's try wired, and make sure to reset the TCP/IP and Winsock
    1. Right click on your Windows Start Menu, and select "Command Prompt (Admin)" or just search for Command Prompt and right click, run as administrator.
    2. Now type in or copy and paste, "netsh int ip reset" Press Enter.
    3. Then do the same for "netsh winsock reset"
Once it's complete, you'll need to restart the computer to complete the reset.

Could the proxy settings be checked as well?

Thank you and good luck!
It's still occuring even after trying all the above solutions. Strange thing happened tonight though.

I'm going back to my original theory that my connection just really doesnt like 1v1 games.

Lagged out of a few bot games (was just testing to see if it was still lagging out) and thought i'd try my luck in the arcade.

To my surprise not a hint of lag even though i had literally 20 seconds earlier had stuttering drones and got lagged out of a bot game.

How is this even possible?
