Co-Op Mutation #152: Flip My Base

Co-op Missions Discussion
Orbital bombardment from Moebius Corps has sent your troops seeking shelter as missile salvos and a purifier beam threaten your base. They have also activated a radio signal that refabricates your fallen structures in Amon's name. Stetmann's Terrazine better be worth it.

Map: Mist Opportunities
Missile Command - Endless missile bombardments target your structures and must be shot down throughout the mission.
Purifier Beam - An enemy Purifier Beam moves across the map toward nearby player units.
Eminent Domain - Enemies gain control of your structures after destroying them.

Reddit post: Will post later.

Notes:
  • Missiles spawn at the very start, from the edges of the map. They slowly fly to the players' bases. http://i.imgur.com/CSTGHTr.jpg
  • Missiles deal 100 damage at first. However, the size increases, and eventually they launch nuke missiles toward players' bases. Those ones come with a warning sound. http://i.imgur.com/ZMQ1lOl.png
  • We can shoot down the missiles [10 HP], but sometimes they launch Point Defense Drones, so we need to shoot those down first. Also, we cannot stop them from spawning. http://i.imgur.com/yeC5hwk.png
  • The unit that kills off a player's building needs to have a ground pathing to the players' base for the mutator to activate. If there is no ground path, the buildings will not respawn.
  • Omega Worms are immune to Eminent Domain.
  • The Purifier Beam is permanent for Amon, and spawns at the start of the map. It slowly chases your units, and also [your static defense] http://i.imgur.com/bgxysHX.jpg
  • A new Purifier Beam spawns on Brutal at 10:30 and after every 10 minutes.
  • The Purifier Beams go past the rear choke point but do not go into the base.
  • Time stop works on the Purifier Beams.

Lol this 1 ez mode compared to last week. 1st try as nova/ stukov. Stukov bunkers cover main bases until final bots, nova and calldowns can pretty much solo all, especially if stukov gives his expo gasses

Literally nothing will be considered hard after the current one haha. If you can do that one, you can do the rest no problem.
Question, I recognize that the purifier beams won't enter the main base but are the expansions still free reign?
    Alright crazy worm time!
If Stukov is not best commander this week then the votes are bull!@#$.
Protip: Do not use Toxic Nests as Abathur. The Purifier Beams will flip them.

That's how I lost the first game. Next one was easy enough with a full clear.
    I'd vote Raynor as CoTW.
Some allies are really clueless. I built some structures to block enemies, and the ally just came to destroy those structures.
No April Fool's mutation? It's as if devs didn't care about co-op anymore.
Zeratul was handy for this one. Amon's stolen tesseract's don't get the artifact bonuses so mine beat the stolen ones in 1v1 at base and the void seeker let me snipe nukes.
Another lagfest of mutation. Nothing compares to Memorable Craptation and hopefully nothing ever will again lol. +4 Bounties/20min/week of suffering.
I did it with Stukov, lured beams away with overlords after researching overlord speed and could park them indefinitely with a 6-point patrol pattern, having the beam(s) in the middle.
Beams don't matter that much for Stukov, but it's easy enough to trap them, and it helps your ally.

Here's my cute little Beam Zoo :-)

Keep in mind I used two overlords because two beams won't target the same unit, two overlords is also recommended with one beam, makes the patrol capture more consistent in my experience.

Yes, although they will go near the ramps (so scvs can get killed transferring)

    Awesome!
After a few attempts with Alarak, and a single one as Vorazun, I decided to switch to Karax. My buddy, as usual, played Tychus.

Since I built the defenses he could push his Outlaws quicker and upgrade them faster. I kept supporting with my top-bar abilities until I had some carriers. Not a single nuke got through. I did not follow the "3 monoliths per base" recommendation and spammed some more cannons instead. Also, the Orbital Strike ignores the point defense drones.

It was pretty enjoyable as Karax I have to say. Alarak was fine in terms of attack waves, but the missiles were annoying. Since they also forced Tychus to build more turrets, we both were slowed down. With Karax, we won first try, without bonus though. And we barely lost one bot.

We had a Zerg comp which had a lot of Ravagers, don't even know how that one is called. Swarmy comp is Ling/Bane iirc.

Seeing all those Zerg go up in flames from the solar lasers was beautiful.

Allies can destroy your structures? since when?
