Energies channeled from the terrazine mists on Bel'Shir have given your enemies terrifying new powers. They blaze through the battle field, absorb hits without flinching, and cast spells on your forces. Find a way to keep them off Stetmann's bots.

Map: Mist Opportunities
Speed Freaks - Enemy units have double their normal movement speed.
Barrier - Enemy units gain a temporary shield upon the first time they take damage.
Power Overwhelming - All enemy units have energy and use random abilities.

Other Notes:
  • Abilities used by the enemy include Abduct, Black Hole, Defensive Matrix, Disabling Cloud, Disruption Web, Force Field, Fungal Growth, Guardian Shield, Graviton Beam, [Hybrid Structure Disable Thing], Irradiate, Parasitic Bomb, Point Defense Drone, Psionic Orb, Psionic Storm, Seeker Missile, Snipe, Time Warp.
  • There is no means to determine what spells each enemy unit has until they actually use it.
  • Barrier gives a 100 health shield to units that don't get killed in 1 hit.
  • All units are buffed to at least 5.5 move speed.
  • Units are able to use their spells through time stop.
  • Dehaka does not get the psionic buff from devouring units, even though everyone s a spellcaster. The unit tag still takes precedence
  • Mind controlling units will make them lose all their mutator buffs.

wow! You can medvac out of those? That's a OP ability! Does it work for Stasis Ward?

It lets you move the heroes out of the stasis ward, but when you put them down they'll still be stasis'd

Yeah quite a few of these types of weird behavior, include Choker's hold and your outlaw stunned 50 screens away. It's both stupid and interesting.

Wasn't as difficult with Swann, Abathur, Kerrigan, Dehaka, and Nova
One shot this week.

I had a good feeling about Fenix on this mutation and he worked out great. The early game is definitely a problem since the waves hit so fast and the abilities wreck anything light, so having the Fenix suits and champions early on were very helpful. (don't rush Carriers that's a trash build and always has been, rush the 6 champions)

Late game, you want something that can handle hybrids and late game units with abilities so you want either heavy cooldowns or a powerful late game army. Fenix has that also being one of the CO's with a powerful hero and a 200 supply army. Alarak, Dehaka and Kerrigan being the others.

Wasn't as difficult with Swann, Abathur, Kerrigan, Dehaka, and Nova

I figure Carrier Fenix and BC Raynor should also actually do rather well, because they both have global teleports to catch speedy waves, and Mist Opportunities is so long that you can max out on those capital ships and still have time to go get a cup of coffee and when you get back Stettmann won’t have sent out the last set of bots.

Hpnestly, any mutation can be made significantly easier by putting it on Mist Opportunities.

This is the key thing to remember here. There's a reason Mist is my go-to map for when I want to get reacquainted with a commander I haven't used in a while or when I wanna derp around with silly builds.
Hi guys, can anyone enlighten me what I should go for as Kerrigan vs Sky Terran here?
Hydra seems so fragile against all these spells, mutalisks too. I don't see any other options honestly, besides mixing some ultralisks with mostly hydra.

I think you've probably got the right idea with UltraHydralisks, but probably add more worms. You may not need that many worms for mobility, but the big thing with some of these extra worms is to get them to tank for you. If it dies, it dies, but that's 1000 damage your other forces didn't take.

But you still need a ground force. The bots are ground units, and both carrier and BC are air units. If the enemy has ground-attack-only units, they will ignore your air units and attack the bots directly.

So you mineral dump Zealots/Vultures. Vultures especially are a great option here just because of how stupidly easy it is to spawn camp this map.
It smells the COTW is Abathur. Any mutation with Power overwhelming Abathur is the winner. (Bannable offense, Inner Power, Portal Power)
Did the mutation as Stetmann. I used Ultralisks with their burrow charge. He's not amazing for the mutation, and he's certainly vulnerable to air because his own anti-air is very vulnerable to spells. That being said, he feels OK for this mutation. Also having an Artanis ally helps you keep your dudes alive.

Against Air Terran Stetmann owned hard. Just massed hydras (with the +3 range vs air killed all the later waves before they got close enough to cast). My ally was Swann. He did good too with some good goliath into thors. But he didn't really take off till the 3rd wave of bots headed out.

Against zerg we both struggled. zerg especially because tons of zerglings spamming abilities is painful.
