Innovation did really become a king slayer by now :D

Beeing the first player who defeats Serral after such a long time of undefeated games in a row and also winning against him in their next game in WESG, winning the tournament, and also winning against Maru the last 2 Times they have played, makes him the only player who defeated both of the kings of 2018.
He really is the kingslayer of 2019 ^^

He prepares for SC3

Maru seems to only do well in tournaments where he has a good amount of time to prepare for his opponent. For later rounds of the GSL it works out but not so much in group stages and it seems that's why he struggled for the last 2 seasons in groups.

Outclassed by Patience... proxy cheese every game? I knew you were just low league scrub with poor understanding of why someone loses, and claimed to be reasonable. Nah just another troll.

Patience neither has the macro superiority (except proxy and still be bases ahead by protoss design), nor his micro was superior, just the broken proxy builds that do too much, which is what I mentioned in my thread.

Lets see if he can beat Serral next time they meet. Serral has gone beast mode and is closing in around 7.6k mmr in EU.

It is almost like even the best SC2 players are human and have bad tournaments occasionally. Even Serral has been losing in 2019 so naturally you should expect Maru to lose too. We should stop holding SC2's best pros to impossible standards and expect them to lose from time to time. Instead of throwing them under the bus when they fumble.
