Warping in Gateway units is NOT instant

General Discussion
They take 5 seconds. 5 seconds where you can DAMAGE and possibly KILL them nontheless. Also you can't cancel units being warped in so hope you picked a good spot for 'em.
5 seconds is a lot less than most unit build times......(Excluding cooldown)

Aaahhhh, the unspoken kicker
Sheesh, who cares if its instant or not? Since when did this become OP or UP?

'

...you didn't say anything that contradicts or disagrees with anything the OP said.

5 seconds is not more than other build times. 5 seconds is also not instant.
5 seconds is pretty much instant considering protoss units warp in at the location of the battle and do not have to walk. Also most units take 30+ seconds to train and have to walk across the field. Also why are you warping in units in places they can be attacked? As to cooldown... it is much more forgiving then forgetting to que up units/or inject.

what people seem to fail to notice is that they DO HAVE COOLDOWNS. if you're macroing properly, then you wont be any different than the other races, except being able to build units any spot in pylon power. so really, if ur complaining that they have a defense ready after u kill their army, its only because they werent making any units WHILE YOU WERE FIGHTING, and if reinforced might have WON. people just see one thing, dont think about it at all and rage OP because it beat them
indeed. it isnt instant. its fast. all the races are different. this is how toss is. its not op or up. dunno what else to say

If you can have 40 food of reinforcements coming into the battle within about 10 seconds of losing the initial units it is essentially instant when other races have to wait upwards of 30 seconds to produce many of their combat units, which then have to walk to the fight, it is essentially instant.
Yup only takes 5 seconds. Just ignore wanting to build more after that...
Because holding on to resources instead of putting units on the field is such a great idea...

You almost sound like you believe Protoss can warp in a single unit every 5 seconds from a single Warpgate.

lololololol................

So you wait until the fight "battle" is over to build any units? hahahahahah..... I think I found your problem.

Try keeping your production buildings working at all times so that you're not WAITING the full build time after every fight to get reinforcements.
