"An unexpected decryption error occurred"

The launcher is trying to run optimization, but gets nowhere (0%) and throws "An unexpected decryption error occurred. Please contact Customer Support". So here I am.

I have 64-bit Windows 7 Professional. I am on a wireless connection and I cannot get a wired one (desktop that I don't want to carry around between floors to find the router).
Let's try deleting the Battle.net folder from the C:\ProgramData folder and see if that helps. You'll probably need to enable Show hidden files, folders, and drives in Folder Options to see this folder.

I'm having the same problem.

I'm on an iMac running OS X 10.7.4

I tried deleting the Battle.net folder, and was able to get to 10% optimization before it gave me the aforementioned error message.

having the same problem in installing HotS beta. "An unexpected decryption error occurred. Please contact Customer Support". tried deleting Battle.net folder like you said. but it seems to get worst. now it has a different error "Error: BLZAPPBTS00008 - Failed to Extract Required Files From Archive"
nevermind my new error. I'm now back to my first one. "An unexpected decryption error occurred. Please contact Customer Support" :(
Same here. Direct connection, no router. Windows 7 laptop, open the setup with "run as admin", click on install, scroll through to the end of the agreement, then fail. "An unexpected decryption error occurred. Please contact Customer Support" Please help.
Do you have Service Pack 1 installed?

WTF, I just tried this thing on another computer, desktop, vista, fully patched, no router and the same issue. I tried the selective startup thing, killed everything but the Microsoft stuff after I reinstalled to factory sate, (no backup, straight reformat) and the SAME ISSUE. WTF.
It cant be my ISP right? My internet works fine, in fact I downloaded the client and played the game with no lag a few days prior to this happening. It has to be something on your end.
Have you tried re-downloading the online installer?

This is ridiculously annoying. I d/led the WoW client, same thing (just wanted to see what would happen)

nothing i do will let me install the beta -.- i opened a ticket and they said my account isnt flagged for the beta but randomly the beta appeared on my account screen under my wings of liberty, so i downloaded the launcher but i get the same error before anything can happen
Same here, im trying to install the game with the online installer and the error ocurrs. I tried closing background application but didn't work.
