Constant freezing on rMBP.

Mac Technical Support
Hi, so I recently purchased Starcaft 2 after playing the starter pack (which played flawlessly, no issues whatsoever). Now, every single time I try playing it (campaign/versus A.I.) my computer completely freezes up, majority requiring a hard restart due to total unresponsiveness.
Also, upon freezing, many times random color splotches and "lights" show up on the screen.

I've tried everything suggested (fresh install, repairing disk permissions, clearing cache, installed all updates) and even when running the game on low settings/resolution it still freezes every time I try playing. My computer is more than capable and everything runs great until the point in which it inevitably freezes. With the frequency of the crashes, the game is unplayable.

If anyone has similar problems and managed to resolve them, I'd be ridiculously thankful. The game is great, I just want to be able to play it!

I've had similar issues with my rMBP. Lately though I've seen the performance drop down a lot as well. It seems the game wants to use my HD4000 over my GT650m. I've set it to systemwide discrete graphics card mode.
Ive tried that as well, but unfortunately to no avail. Did you notice that turning off auto graphics switching helped?
