Hello Everyone,

We apologize for the frustration and confusion with the Launcher. A fix is on the way, but for now we've found that the steps below can help. Please note that this fix is only for the Americas - English (US) client.

1) Delete the Battle.net folder in C:\ProgramData
2) Download and run the online installer (this will not fully reinstall StarCraft II, and will only re-download some data):
StarCraft-II-Setup-enUS.exe
3) Install to the existing StarCraft II location.
C:\Program Files (x86)\StarCraft II
or
C:\Program Files\StarCraft II

I just restored the agent.db from a backup from 2 days ago and I am in playing.

Time to re-install... Hope I don't have to re-install Korean sounds too (+1-2 hours) Had to do both already on HoTS launch, since the launcher said I needed 50 GB free to update from WoL to HoTS.
Thx for bluepost. Just tried it, he had to load 200 MB, started, same problem still.

I did exactly as Velnrak said and it worked perfectly
Can't believe ppl just redownload the whole 15gb+ worth of client.

Step 1: Make regions.xml (Go find it. Or make your own)
Step 2: Put it at your SC2 folder (where there is starcraft II.exe)
Step 3: Disable Local Area Network (Or whatever LAN/Wifi adaptors you are using to connect to internet)
Step 4: Get into SC2, click cancel for 'Connecting Streaming Server'
Step 5: Don't log into Offline mode. Just switch region to Europe
Step 6: Reenable your Local Area Network that is connected to your interwebs
Step 7: Connection......

For those who struggle with regions.xml:

create new textfile, enter:

How do you open the starcraft folder and where do you find agent.db
ya conect into Euro server but not in NA
Hades, I've updated the steps, and you don't actually have to delete the Agent.db file. Just delete the Battle.net cache, and run the online installer.

awww it only conect to euro server! :c i want to play the campaign!
After switching regions from EU to US, I also experience the problem in which the game restarts itself after the login screen is shown. I already deleted StarCraft II, and reinstalled but it is not working! (I am using a Mac and the instructions here won't work).

Guess the only thing to do is a refund?
