I would love for this feature! I think a lot of the older graphics had brilliant design.

Congrats to the winner. However...Blizzard, I implore you to consider adding more of the portraits into the game. There is a lot of talent going to waste and some of the portraits really capture the essence of Brood War. Perhaps, include the top 5. There is a little bit of something for everyone. A gritty, grimdark marine for the Brood War fans, a gritty dragoon that contains a bit of lightheartedness for the optimists, an ursadon marine for the people who enjoy joke portraits, a Starcraft 2 styled Protoss homage for those coming from Starcraft 2, and a neat anonymous ghost for people to place…

I love "A Ragged Claw" and "Dragoon Fishbowl". They both capture the aesthetic of Brood War and I would absolutely love for these to be placed in the game.It kills me that I have to choose, but my vote is going to go to "A Ragged Claw" for just nailing the look. Both are absolutely magnificent. I also like "SO BLOODY REAL!" for its color and composition.

It would be neat if the toggle options were more specific and allowed us to select which portraits were toggled. Some portraits are beautifully done, like the Valkyrie. However, I would be very content with just a standard portrait toggle. Also, I too would like splash screen toggles.

I don't care for the generic protoss look, but that could have been easily hidden in hard shadows.
