Greetings Cerebrates, Commanders, and Executors.

Patch 1.21.0 has arrived. This patch was focused on enabling EUD , updating the CCMU variables, improving our turn rate system, and introducing a brand new map pool for the current Frontier League.

Features & Improvements

EUD
  • Added an EUD “Extended Unit Death” emulator that supports hundreds of EUD offsets for custom maps. This is something that we have been very excited to deliver for StarCraft Remastered and hope you all really enjoy it. For additional information on EUD please visit our blog: (Link)

CCMU “Cannot Create More Units”
  • Brood War enthusiasts can rejoice in the glory that is updated CCMU variables. We have raised the limits of sprites & bullets that can be spawned in game! Additionally, we have added an option while creating a game that allows players to adjust the CCMU limits back to their original limitations.

Map Pool
Updated the current ladder map pool in the Frontier League to:
  • CircuitBreakers1.0
  • Fighting Spirit
  • Match Point
  • Longinus II
  • Neo Jade
  • Tau Cross
  • Destination

Turn-Rate
  • We have updated our turn rate algorithm to be smarter and better than ever. The new system is more meticulous at determining if the turn rate needs to be lowered and will even increase it.

Replays
  • Players can now view their own replays from the profile screen.

Bug Fixes

General
  • Changes made for Game Speed, Key Scroll Speed or Mouse Scroll Speed should now persist after patches.
  • Pressing U now only toggles replay speed after Alt+Tabbing in and out of the Replay session.
  • The + and = symbols are now working correctly within chat.

Battle.net
  • /where and /whois commands are now working correctly for those that are Blizzard friends and non Blizzard friends.
  • Fixed an issue where some player and race settings couldn’t be changed in the Single Player lobby.
  • Players that navigate rapidly through the client menus will no longer hit a black screen state.

Compatibility
  • Fixed a crash on Mac occurring when joining a Multiplayer custom game.

Known Issues:
  • Save game is disabled for EUD maps
  • Replays will not be saved for EUD maps
  • A big majority of EUD maps are supported except for maps that change the SCR graphics
SPICY, new map pool is awesome!
Blizzard, I sincerely hope that this December, a huge splash is coming from you. The CCMU fix, the sprite limitations fix, the lag fix, and the 2v2 featuring. Even just two of them would be so nice because those are, if my memory serves me correctly, the most talked about topics of how the game could be better. Hell, even if it's just the lag, that's already a major step in making the game functional again.

Blizzard, part of the reason why I said I hope a big splash is coming from you this December is because you said this back in September.

CCMU (Cannot Create More Units) has been a topic we didn’t have the bandwidth to properly investigate prior to release. We found said time, and have explored a method for supporting CCMU without breaking replays – the key reason we were holding off. We believe this is a request we can support before year’s end.

Please prove to me that this wasn't an empty promise, or at least prove you are doing something about it. And I don't want words this time. I want visual evidence of it.

Oh my goodness, I'm so glad I decided to wait it out. Thank you. I seriously can't wait to try this out.

Have all my thank yous.

Edit: It seems it's not saying that I said it, no matter how many times I tried to edit it in.

If you want to know what I said in full, here's the URL to it: https://us.battle.net/forums/en/starcraft/topic/20759467921#post-2
Thanks!
Great job devs, keep at it! Thanks for updating the map pool, and nice choices!
Amazing, a lot of key issues have been addressed. I really like the new map pool as well, there's a bunch of 2 player and 3 player maps. Keeping FS and CB was the right call, they're both staple macro maps.
NICE!
This is an amazing update and I'm surprised that this came before the new year! Hope there won't be too many bug fixes but thank you for putting this out!
Very nice... i thought 1.21 was going to be bigger... the good news is that you implemented a lot of stuff, and lot of other stuff is missing, so we still have a long way to go.

Please don't forget:

  • Autologing Features
  • Loging buttons after game eands to avoid losing a WIN
  • Workers & unit numbers on Replay Mode
  • Please make long MAP list load faster when creating a game

"Connection is routing via proxy server"

Is this message port forward/6112 related? Found that image on TL.

Neo Jade, it's a very good map.

talking about jade lets hope they took the iccup version that has the mining fixed, cuz the original one has big problems in the left side top bottom.

the iccup version is called jade 2.1
matchpoint version 1.3 has been used for the last 7 years instead of version 1.2
matchpoint 1.3 was also used when the progamers where playing in proleague and stuff.
please consider using matchpoint version 1.3

    Version 1.3

6/12 o'clock can no longer be sieged behind a protected doodad (doodad was removed).
Made 3 o'clock central ramp closer to center/further from side of map.
    Changed 7 o'clock starting position's minerals.

Yes, if the host does not have port 6112 available, then a connection to a proxy server will be created - and this will add latency to the connection (sometimes a little, sometimes a lot).

Yes, if the host does not have port 6612 available, then a connection to a proxy server will be created - and this will add latency to the connection (sometimes a little, sometimes a lot).

Sadly at least 8 or 9 games out of 10 are routing via proxy servers =/
