Introduction: Hello my name is Curoar (think of it like que-roar) and I’m here to help new players as well as veteran players get a firm understanding of what's happening to Arms in 7.2.5 in terms of PVE. As with every other class and spec, in Legion everyone has had significant changes and their spec and abilities. We’ll start by discussing those, before jumping into the meat of things. What happened to the spec?: Changes from 7.2.5 to 7.3.5 Actually nothing. Our spec received no PVE related changes in 7.3.5. Arms had considerable changes going into 7.2.5. In case you don't know what changed here's what happened in 7.2.5 with the spec. The following changes have been made to the spec in 7.2.5... All abilities damage increased by 10%, in addition to any damage changes be low. Auto-attack rage generation increased by 10%. Critical strike auto-attacks now generate 30% bonus Rage (was 50%). The effect of Mastery has been reduced by 20%. Anger Management now spends 20 Rage per 1 second of cooldown reduction (was 10 Rage per 1 second), and now also reduces the cooldown of Bladestorm. Cleave damage increased by 20%. Colossus Smash cooldown reduced to 20 seconds (was 30 seconds), and damage increased by 10%. Dauntless cost reduction is now 10% (was 20%). Deadly Calm now reduces Rage costs during Battle Cry by 75% (was 100%). Execute damage increased by 25%. If the target does not die, 30% of the Rage spent on Execute is refunded. Fervor of Battle is now moved to Level 75. Fervor of Battle damage bonus increased to 80% (was 45%). Focused Rage is now moved to Level 90. Focused Rage now costs 20 Rage (was 15 Rage). In For The Kill is now moved to Level 90, passively causes Colossus Smash to grant you 10% Haste for 8 seconds. In For The Kill now refunds 40 Rage (was 30 Rage). Mortal Strike damage increased by 20%. Opportunity Strikes now causes your extra attacks to generate 5 Rage, with a 0.5 second internal cooldown. Overpower no longer costs Rage, no longer procs from auto-attacks, and may not proc itself. Precise Strikes (Artifact trait) now causes Colossus Smash to increase the critical strike chance of your next Mortal Strike or Execute by 10% per rank. Ravager now generates 7 Rage per tick if it damages at least one enemy, for a maximum of 49 Rage over its duration if every tick deals damage. Rend cost increased to 30 Rage (was 10 Rage). Rend’s first hit now deals 150% weapon damage. Rend’s duration decreased to 8 seconds (was 15 seconds). Rend now deals damage every 2 seconds (was 3 seconds). Rend’s periodic damage has been increased to 2.5x attack power (was 2.4x attack power). Initial hit decreased to 150% weapon damage, down from 280%. Periodic damage increased to 2.5x AP per tick, up from 2.4x AP. Shattered Defenses (Artifact trait) now causes Colossus Smash to increase the damage of your next Mortal Strike or Execute by 60% (was 30%). This effect no longer increases the critical strike chance of Mortal Strike or Execute. Slam damage increased by 35%. Titanic Might now increases the duration of Colossus Smash by 8 seconds (was 16 seconds), and now also reduces the cooldown of Colossus Smash by 8 seconds. Trauma is now moved to Level 45. Trauma is now also activated by Execute. Void Cleave (Artifact trait) damage increased by 100%. Whirlwind damage increased to 90% weapon damage per hit, now costs 30 Rage (was 25 Rage). 1h Prot tank - more buttons? I have about 9 buttons set to actions within reach of my left hand in WSAD position - basically the numbers 1-7 plus R and T - and my right hand is on the mouse. My keyboard doesn't have useful function keys. How do you get additional useful button locations? I love the fact that prot has so many tanking abilities that are useful depending on circumstance, and I'm sure there will be even more when I get to higher level, but I need to get to them quickly!Liana29 1h
2h Warbringer DR Did warbringer get hotfixed or something to DR with other stuns now? Was just in a run and it seemed to DR with Leg Sweep and such. Before it didn't DR with anything, even with itself. Is the dream over? :*(Ineedmoneeyy0 2h

13h free Mage Tower info (Prot challenge) Beat this the last time Mage Tower was up, took me two days of attempts. First night was an utter wipe-fest lol, second night I switched up my talents and got it within 2 hours. What follows is what "worked" for me, enjoy! First, my stats and setup... Warrior alt stats 925 iLvL mostly from welfare gear/Argus gear/LFR, a little over 6.8 million health with 9,211 armor (55% damage reduction). 69 traits on the artifact. - 18% crit - 24% haste - 37% mastery - 18% versatility - 22% parry - 28% block Talents used 15 - Storm Bolt 30 - Inspiring Presence 45 - Avatar 60 - Bounding Stride 75 - Devastator 90 - Into the Fray 100 - Anger Management Consumables used - Flask of the Countless Armies - Potion of Prolonged Power - Defiled Augment Rune - Drums of Fury - Bear Tartare Leggos used I didn't have the bracers, but I did have the shoulders. If you don't have the shoulders all that means is you just gotta be a little more careful/attentive in phase 2. - Timeless Stratagem - Aggramar's Stride Macros used Generic boss stun...Inquisitor charge (useful if you are out of position to interrupt)...Highlord Kruul focus (push it right when he first lands)...Now, onto the strategy... Phase 1 - Inquisitor Variss I just couldn't keep myself alive using the Impending Victory talent that is "recommended" in most Youtube videos, and night 1 of attempts was nothing but wipes. The next night, I switched up my talents to get back the "default" +30% healing Victory Rush and suddenly I was beating phase 1 pretty much every pull. - I opened the encounter from max range with "Heroic Throw" and ran back to Velen to get him to aggro the boss, Velen does noticeable DPS on the boss. - I stepped out of his aura at 4 stacks max, although at the very start I would stay in for 6-8 stacks and pop defensives to squeeze out as much DPS as possible. - If I was busy with adds or out of position for a Drain Life cast, I would simply tap my Storm Bolt macro to stop his cast from range. - For "Nether Horror" adds I waited for them to group up, hit them with Revenge spam, and popped Spell Reflection. "Nether Horror" adds were a LIFE SAVER for me as I could use them to heal myself up for +30% each kill. - "Smoldering Infernal" and "Eye" adds were another source of rage and free +30% heals for me during downtime/waiting for stacks to fall off. Rage is very important for keeping your Ignore Pain shield up, I was constantly hitting adds. Phase 2 - Highlord Kruul This phase didn't take long to get down, and he goes down fairly quick with warrior DPS. There really isn't much to it, I think I nailed this phase in under like ~8 tries. - When he first lands I tap my focus macro (in case I'm still busy cleaning up leftover adds, or out of position). Then I immediately tap my Storm Bolt macro to stun him just to delay his abilities by another 4-5 secs. I pop Storm Bolt pretty much on cooldown throughout the phase, Storm Bolt can buy you 16-20 seconds of "extra" DPS time. - I pop all offensive cooldowns at the same time once he lands (Potion, Drums, Avatar, Battle Cry, etc) and start going to town on him. - Popping defensives/mitigation buttons is MANDATORY for "Annihilate". Here are numbers taken directly from my combat log to give you an idea how hard it hits, plan ahead accordingly:...You probably won't survive a 4th one, so just keep your rotation/DPS tight and kill him before then. By the time he casts his 3rd one he SHOULD be close to dead. - Keep in mind that the damage you take *will* scale up with each "Annihilate"... even his basic melee punch seems to do more damage. For example at the start he was meleeing me for ~150k, but towards the end it was more like 700-900k per punch. Even his "Netherstomp" fire puddle ability seemed to do more damage; early on it ticked for 1-1.1 million damage per sec, but towards the end it was ticking for 1.6-1.9 million damage per sec. Again, these numbers are straight from my combat log. - You can either Pummel or Spell Reflect his "Twisted Reflection", I opted to just kick all his casts since Spell Reflection would sometimes bug out on me if "Nether Horror" adds were also hitting me. Sometimes the Spell Reflect would reflect the add's arcane ability and not reflect Kruul's cast, causing a wipe. Conclusion Sometimes you just have to tinker around or experiment with different talents/builds to see what works for YOU. I probably would have beaten it on night 1 if I had just not used Impending Victory from the start, would have saved myself a *lot* of wipes too.Gdtroll8 13h

I thought that I'd make myself available to answer questions as a Legion Prot Warrior main. Briefly here's what I believe my qualifications are: I've mained Prot Warrior throughout all of Legion. I've tanked and killed every Legion raid boss, on every difficulty, and have hit Cutting Edge every tier this expansion. I've consistently been in the top 200ish (or higher) Prot warriors in M+. I play all 6 tanks. I raid heroic at a minimum, do M+ on all 6 of them and they're all about 970ish. 15h What would you like to see in BFA for war? What talents/playstlyes/abilities would you like to see make a return in BFA and why? Are there any new abilities that you have an idea for? Shattering throw, Deep wounds on crits, and single minded fury come to mind for me. 18h Storm Bolt or Double Time for 1v1? I know SB is the popular pick, but if the enemy is going to simply trinket out of it, is it really that much use in 1v1? At most you can use it to interrupt a spellcast or buy yourself a second for whatever, but when fighting a Warrior, SB is the only thing worth using trinket on, everybody will save trinket for it. Double Time on the other hand is useful in any situation no matter what, perhaps this is better for 1v1? I think I'd rather have an extra charge on shorter CD, than a ranged spell interrupt or one second stun thanks to enemy trinket. I'm not sure though, I'm not that experienced in Warrior PvP.Rampaged0 18h
19h Make Legendary Bracers a Prot Talent in BFA Simple fix to Prot healing and sustain issue could easily be resolved by taking the Legendary bracers heal - Revitalizing Rage and making it an ability in BFA. It is even a fitting name for a skill for a Prot warrior. The more Rage he spends it keeps him fueled and in battle. ( class fantasy ) Of course with the stat squish we would have to play with the % heal. Is 1 % enough or is it too strong? Don't know but the mechanic itself would be perfect for the playstyle of Prot in BFA especially since IP is gone. This should fit it's class fantasy and help with Prot being severely hindered currently as a Tank.Abombanation42 19h

1d Fury Mage Tower Has anyone beaten this recently? I by no means am a Fury spec expert, but I tried 30+ times today, and I can't get her below 27%. I can not pump out dps on all the constant adds on the fight and on her to beat it. I think this was over-tuned due to our iLvls now.Bgored48 1d

1d Can someone help me w/ prot hidden art? I have been looking for this thing for seriously 2 months now with no luck. Just today I watched an undead warrior gain the shield from a gold pile right in front of me. I feel like something is wrong with my character because I should have found it by now. Wowhead says you need AK5 (we're all maxed now) and to read the tablet in Skyhold. So with all of us being max AK that's done, I've read all of the tablets multiple times but still every day I go into the cave, hit my macro to say whether the quest is "true" to be available and it's always "false", but I check anyway just to be sure and sure enough 2 months of trying no luck. Is there something I am missing here? Was this character not being AK5 before the changes maxed everyone out bugging this to prevent it from spawning on my character? I petitioned a GM just to see if I was bugged and got the standard reply of "we don't discuss hidden artifact appearances". I really want to get this artifact skin, but I'm starting to think something is actually wrong with my character. Is there something obvious that I am missing? 2d Warriors in BFA Hello beta testers. I used to play warrior in legion and I personally didn't like the current iterarion of the rotation. I am very bad to it at pvp. But in BFA Warrior seems that it has changed alot so I wonder to ask if warrior is much better than live since I am thinking to retake it and have it as alt in BFA. 3d Am I bad at Fury? I just can't get this spec to work on boss fights. I'm great with arms and usually some top DPS with it, but the rotation is so boring that it made me switch to fury for once, but I can't pull anywhere near the same DPS with it, as fun as the rotation is. I'm running Frothing Berserker, and someone in-game said I didn't have the legendaries to make fury effective. Is it seriously a matter of getting the two BiS legendaries for fury to be viable in a single target boss fight?Gelge12 3d

3d Wait until Vanilla pvp Warriors Wait until vanilla no special plans to include the warrior class in pvp as you saw in Legion and WOD before that other than that execute lol. Don't spend your money not being able to compete or having to take your pocket heal friends everyday to pvp. Well in vanilla people will see what a top 2 dps next to the frost mage is all about. Of course they will ask to get the warrior nerfed but I know even all the passives in the game at that time in the back of my head. Can't believe I bought into Bajheera's stating "warriors are op in Legion". As you can see that was outright lie and the player that pays for 2 exp sets back to back should be at least able to compete at a decent level. Currently 1 new battleground was created and 2 specs buffed, and what did arms get NOTHING. So your not part of any plan as arms warriors in BFA either. We being thousands of warriors unless a Written Guarantee will not be buying BFA. That is the truth and that is the deal make a monk heal or heal in general now that they exploit pvp just for quing.Darkelfen10 3d

4d BFA Warrior Wish List As a warrior since mid MOP, I feel like i missed the glory days of the class. I have been playing the game since late vanilla, and always saw warriors as that one class that seemed so cool but I never felt i could roll one properly. Then one day I finally went for it and fell in love. Since then, I never looked back to my other toons. That being said, looking into BFA there are just a few things i would like to throw into the ring, see what the community thinks and see what Blizz thinks. First, I would like to discuss the topic of rage, the issues i see with it as an umbrella resource for all three specs, and how i think it could be worked on, potentially improved, and even replaced (O.O) Then, I will dive into the individual specs and the potential identity I see in them, including abilities and feel. The first thing i think needs to be changed is charge. You just got tackled by a plate wearing sob, and all that happened is you got slowed a little? Please, bring a quick knockdown to charge. This is not too much cc for a warrior. This will help us in pvp and in pve if we are overwhelmed by attackers to just try to do something, anything. Let me also state that these builds are with the thought process that combat abilities will not cost any resource, but rather be based off of haste and stats. Being starved for resources does not make sense for some builds except for one potential one, and you'll see what that is. We already have a spec where nothing really costs anything, ww is free for fury but costs rage for arms? slam costs something but furious strike and raging blow don't? Something just feels strange. So yes, with my new warrior vision, i do not see us needing resources to use abilities, we need to pay attention to our resources in a new way. We need synergy and the ability to feel like we bring something interesting to the table. I'm envisioning a whole new way to look at warriors, not just another "resource, spend" class, but something new. RAGE: I'm sure we've all looked at our rage bars once or twice and thought to ourselves "i'm building rage...then...spending it? How do you "spend" rage?" *tilts head* As a resource, rage has a lot of potential, specifically for fury. What if i told you to compete against your rage bar, trying to maintain it high so that you can deal more damage? What if instead of building up to 100 rage then "spend" it to use rampage or execute spam, you tried to get it to 100, then try to maintain it up there by dealing damage, taking damage, what have you. Of course, there has to be a draw back. Imagine the way enrage currently works, you get a haste buff, and you get a damage taken debuff. Now apply that to the rage bar. Allow me to explain a little better. You're a fury warrior, two 2h weapons in each hand, you're gonna charge in and go hulk mode on everything you see. You don't care what happens, you're job is to go in there and take everything you see out, or die trying. Getting hit? who cares, you're blinded by rage and fury and you're gonna curb stomp every thing in your path. Your own bloody thirst for combat is keeping you alive. You have arrows in your back, daggers in your gut, and you're just still going. What even are you!?! You're a fury warrior. Rage could work as follows: -FURY ONLY-This is using the concept that fury would primarily be a good sustained dps spec with very strong aoe power, and the only spec that is forced to use rage as a resource) At 100% rage, you become enraged, and your rage will begin to deplete, slow at first and faster with every stack of enrage.This effect lasts as long as you can maintain rage up past 0% While enraged, you increase your haste by x% amount, stacking up to a max of 10, or x times, one stack for every 10, or x rage gained while enraged. However, you will also take x% increased damage from all sources, stacked up to 10 or x. To help warriors compensate for the damage, their hp could be increased as it is in live, as well as a complete change to blood thirst. Blood thirst could be a passive that gives you leech. To replace blood thirst, Furious Slash could get a damage boost and increased leech from blood thirst passive. No rage building, and on a 3 second cd to prevent total spamming. RAMPAGE- would function very similarly to how it does now, only it would be on a x sec cd, only usable while you are enraged. It can have a reset chance from WW and Furious Slash. Increases the damage and rage generation of your next Raging Blow. WW makes Rampage hit multiple targets like it does on live now. Up to a max of 4 still. RAGING BLOW- would be on an x second cd, generates x rage, with increased rage generation from Rampage. Big hitter ability. EXECUTE- can still work the same, heavy hitter at 20% or less, deals extra damage based on how much rage you still have, rather than "spending" rage. Mastery would still work the same as it does now. This is all based under the idea that the numbers would be very similar to how they are on live now with enrage, and not obscenely OP. ENRAGED REGENERATION- defensive CD, could only be used while enraged, will reduce damage taken by x% and increase your blood thirst passive healing by x% EXHAUSTION- New idea, you just went full out and you're out of rage, maybe you can't quite become enraged for a quick second and need to take a quick breather. Exhaustion would be a debuff that prevents you from becoming enraged after losing your buff for x amount of seconds. This is to prevent over use of the new potential mechanic, keep it balanced a bit, and help your healers keep you alive you crazy animal. All it has to do is prevent you from generating rage for a little bit. You can still do damage with FS, WW and RB as well as your auto. For an offensive cd, fury warriors could get Odyn's Fury again, on a 45 sec cd. It will still do the aoe burst dot, and heal you from blood thirst. The idea is to make fury warriors feel like they want to stay in combat even though it may be very dangerous. To allow themselves to go into that dangerous place for a great reward. Rage would be generated from Raging Blow, auto attacks and damage taken, with extra rage generated from crits. Now, i always see a fury warrior as like, Wolverine, Hulk, A Raging berserker that just keeps going, but since this is WoW I think the idea of playing with the lore of Valhalas fits really well. Being healed through combat, being able to push through. Now for Prot, and a whole new resource idea to work with a new ignore pain mechanic. Ladies and gentlemen...i give you... ENDURANCE- An endurance bar that sits at 100, depletes when you take damage, and slowly regenerates, and i do mean slowly while in combat. Also bear with me here, DK's get to tank with a two hander. Demon hunters dual wield, and monks use their fists and a staff, or polearm. Druids just turn into a massive bear and take it like a boss. Now, we've probably all seen 300...and you know where i'm going with this. If not baseline, at least a talent. You can bring back Gladiator Stance, only this time it allows you to wield a 2h and a shield. This idea is to really push for warrior tanks to be a stat tank, with the idea of keeping things controlled and positioned rather than just a punching bag all day. But let me begin with this Endurance bar i mentioned. Endurance is a resource that directly affects a new ignore pain. IGNORE PAIN-You take x% reduced damage from all sources, based on current endurance. So an example, at 100 endurance, you take 75% reduced damage from all sources(numbers to be tweaked accordingly) Endurance depletes as you take damage, and at 0% endurance ignore pain is severely hindered BUT you get to use your abilities to stay alive and manage your endurance. At 0% endurance, ignore pain is gone, and you will be taking the hits up front, however there will be plenty in your kit to help you when you are out of endurance. I also worked on the potential for a prot warrior to have a talent choice in which their endurance bar can be "healed" by a healer or their own healing. This would be like, if you receive 100 healing, only 1 hp of that will count to your bar, so only .5 of your bar could be replenished. This means that the back end of endurance is being healed by a % of healing received. This could be a talent that is in the same row as impending victory and inspiring presence. This could even be the new "second wind." BLOCK-would work as it does now, and blocked attacks replenish a small amount of Endurance. Shield Block would in turn allow you to really help you replenish endurance, dus increase your damage reduction. Shield block would still have 2 charges, and have a reset chance from shield slam. SHIELD WALL- Channeled offensive/defensive CD. You summon Val'kyr to your aid, creating a shield wall, reducing all damage taken by x%, or absorbing all damage in a cone around you. Revenge can be used during this, and the Val'kyr will sweep their spears with you, dealing damage and (maybe) pushing enemies in front of you away. Similar to Neltharion's Fury, where you have to stand in place, but can rotate. COMMANDING SHOUT- Same as now, health increase defensive CD DEVASTATOR-would be baseline but would not generate anything. There could be a talent where the devastator talent is now to make it so that your auto attacks sweep up to 4 targets, applying deep wounds and having a higher chance at resetting revenge. SHIELD SLAM-would be a heavy hitting single target ability that has a chance to reset a shield block charge. INTERCEPT-would stay the same, without any generation of resource. REVENGE-: 5s cd, or Xs cd aoe melee strike in a cone in front of you. Devastator has a chance to reset the cd. Applies deep wounds and reduces damage done by enemies. Generates high threat. THUNDERCLAP- would stay the same, aoe with a slow. And Finally, Arms. A masterful warrior, with great knowledge of multiple combat styles with martial weapons. They can be calm and collected, making every swing count, or brutes with great strength blindly slamming down on an opponent. Some could even be a more defensive fighter that waits for a counter attack rather than sending the first blow. Lets begin with a recap, we saw the new rage mechanic, and the new endurance resource possibilities. I want to start by saying that so far we have seen a raging warrior that blindly fights on, regardless of what happens, until the very end. We've seen the rise of new defensive warriors that take charge and control over the battlefields, being able to call on the val'kyr and pushing the front lines. Now for the balance in between them, a focused warrior that strikes precise and weakens foes, putting all their strength into blows that count. Let's begin with a resource. Rogues, Ferals, Monks, they all have something in common: Energy. Paladins, Mages, Priests, Shamans, Warlocks: Mana So let me put this out there. Hunters: Focus. Focus could be brought over to the arms warrior, slowly building focus on the battlefield, and every one of your attacks having all of your force backed into them in precise blows. But how boring might that be, just replace rage for focus? no no no, let me explain something else. The three new resource potentials? Give them all to arms. How? Simple. Stances. Now, i'm not talking about the old traditional stances, i'm talking a talented stance. The first row of talents would be a very impacting choice that decided your entire arms warrior experience. Before i can move forward though, there are some changes to the BFA stuff i see that would need to come in to make these specs work. Starting with Victory Rush. Same as with Bloodthirst, it should be a passive that when you kill something that yield experience or honor, you automatically heal for the same percentage as Victory Rush now. Why? How many times have you killed something, only to be ranged down or cc'd and not be able to use Victory Rush, be it in pvp or pve? The way to control overhealing is by giving it an internal CD of maybe like 5-10 seconds. This way you can't do massive healing in aoe fights where you just bladestorm everything down. With how much self healing all other classes have, I think this is pretty fair now. Whirl Wind and Cleave: An arms wariror just swinging their one weapon around like that just looks silly. However, a warrior sweeping their enemies down with a mighty horizontal blow? that looks cool. Cleave should be baseline for arms, no bleed effect, but it should trigger sweeping strikes. It would work like this: CLEAVE- Cleave all enemies in front of you for x% AP damage. If you hit more than one target, Cleave activates sweeping strikes for x amount of seconds, allowing you to hit up to 4 targets with your other single target melee abilities. This means sweeping strikes is built into cleave when you hit multiple targets, and your sweeping strikes will hit however many targets you hit with cleave, up to a max of 4. Since it's built in, the damage your attacks deal should be reduced down to maybe 40%. Cleave would still apply the bleed from mastery (read below.) However, some of you prefer WW, so i say make it a talent. WHIRLWIND- Spin and attack all targets around you for x% AP (higher than cleave) and applies fervor of battle. However, you lose sweeping strikes but gain a no cd ability that works with your mastery. Next, mastery slight change. Instead of deep wounds being the mastery, i think it should be Trauma, and allow for your abilities to cause a bleed effect based on how much damage they deal, and stacking. But it needs a cap so you can't just spam all day and increase the bleed to a huge amount. Let Prot keep Deep Wounds, and let arms get a better talent option. Finally, Tactician: I think your primary abilities should have a chance to trigger it since there is no "spending" in these builds. The procs should still be about the same as now. Now to begin... Level 15 talents: BERSERKER STANCE- Gives you the new rage mechanic, as well as SLAM But, how will this work? Simple, you gain the mechanic of rage, which means you fight to maintain the rage bar. The identity here being a two handed wielding berserker. So why would i ever play fury then? This is only supposed to give you the rage mechanic, but the play style and feel will be different. Fury is based around sustained damage during your prolonged enrage window, Arms rage build would be more centered around bursting in small increments, less access to staying enraged as well. How it would work is you still gain enrage, increasing your haste and damage taken. You would not however get such a massive health increase as fury to compensate but you still have the new victory rush to help keep you alive. You would also gain Slam, no cd, and has a chance to trigger the new Overpower due to how this new tactician idea works. With the new mastery idea you'll be applying the bleed stack faster in your enrage.This build is primarily focused on really stacking up your bleeds quicker and dotting things up. BATTLE STANCE- You gain Focus as your resource, as well as Heroic Strike (instead of slam) This is the only "traditional" spend, gain resource build that would work with the BFA build. Overpower would be off the GCD, but with a 12s CD. It makes your next mortal strike or execute hit 35% harder. Mortal Strike would cost focus, have a 3 sec cd, and apply the healing debuff as well as your mastery. Heroic Strike would be your main focus spender, and help give tactician procs for MS and OP. Execute would work the same way it always has, only with increased damage with more focus used. And Finally DEFENSIVE STANCE- You gain the endurance resource and a VERY reduced ignore pain. (@ 100 endurance, maybe only 25% damage decrease, decreased with lower endurance) And a 25% damage debuff to your dps. You gain devastator, increasing your auto attack damage, as well as Retaliate, a new ability that lets you hit a target with a large strike if you have been critically hit. Only usable within 2 seconds of the hit. You still use OP, MS, Execute, and cleave only they are all free (and of course deal less damage.) Your Devastator auto attacks will have a chance to reset your OP and MS through Tactician. Almost everything else stays the same in my view. Now I know, this sounds like arms is getting three different specs, but as a master of weaponry i think it fits. To make all of this work better, looking at it now, Tactician should have a chance to reset your OP and MS when you use other abilities, not spend anything, that way it can be seamless throughout the different stances. For the remainder of the talents, since some of them would have to be moved, or added into the baseline, we could replace talents that have completely lost their flavor. One example for me is Ravager...I don't think I ever see it used, yet it's coming back again for a third expansion now. Something like Siegebreaker for charge resets, or some new utility talents would be great. The talents would need work, but everything above is just the basics for class change I believe would give warriors a fresh new feel in BFA or forward. That's a brief rundown of my thoughts, i still have a lot of work left to do but i hope to get ideas, and I hope you all like some aspects of these, and if so I hope Blizz does too.Reinaldt15 4d
4d Petition to remove shield from D-Stance Can we get a petition going to remove the gigantic ugly lv60 shield that we somehow hold in one arm while in d-stance. It makes no sense to arms, i would understand if they let us swap to a 1h+shield, but that's not the case anymore. And aesthetically this just looks like hot garbage, how does nobody else find this atrocious yet? I don't mind the little 4 floating shields animation which primarily indicate to others and ourselves we are in d-stance, although i would like some customization with that as well via glyphs or something, but the main culprit here is the massive ugly shield we are forced to have. Not sure if this has been mentioned before, but i'm sure it has, maybe we could get some traction on this. I know it's not pressing issue, considering all thats left to be done. 6d ignore pain - GCD overly punishing With a cost of 40 rage. It feels like im being DOUBLE punished for trying to use it. I believe the GCD should be removed from this defensive ability. Demo shout is also a defensive that is on the GCD, that feels overly punishing too.Gahru6 6d

Jun 17 Sugestions for pvp fury warrior I really love fury warrior and I know that the class Is in a very good spot in pvp but i cant handle it. When I go to BGs or arenas I cant catch Any class and I am easily snared until I die. Another problem that i am having Is that I lose sight when i am on melee and the enemy goes away with an random escape ability. Weird since i dont have this problem when i use my paladín or DH because I have range of spells(paladín) or More Gap closers(dh). Any suggestions? Jun 15 Any PVP tips for a new arms warrior? Hey everyone, this is my first character, my buddy from work gifted me the game and I love it so far, on a pvp realm too so that's cool. I just started pvp'ing at random battlegrounds and have had a ton of fun so far! But I noticed that I'm getting really inconsistent results. Sometimes I'll be like 12-1 and at others I'll be like 1-8. I got the double time talent or whatever so I feel pretty mobile and it's been key to getting most of the kills I've got and the skill that let's you jump like 30 feet away has saved me from doom often and is useful for when charge is on cooldown but after the first few actions things seem to go downhill. I charge in and hamstring them, then mortal strike (I got the talent that makes it an AOE) them over and over alongside a few slams (and pummels when they cast) until they get low and execute and in between I just hit all the procs and refresh the 20% damage buff thing. I use Will of the Forsaken when I can but it has a 2 minute cooldown and I usually just get CC'd again after popping it and charging. Victory Rush helps but usually expires before I need the heals. I feel like I'm missing something, there has to be more to it than that? Everyone I've talked to in game seems to think I'm good for my level and have no complaints and I do really good in PVE it seems but in PVP things just feel inefficient or something? Also, healers seem to be VERY hard to kill in this game and when I 1V1 them usually the battles last a long time with me slowly dying and they just chain healing and doing small amounts of damage to me until I die. Most of the other classes I handle pretty well since getting the double time talent but healers, especially priests (despite wearing cloth) seem nigh unkillable and I know my weapon is good because it's DPS is equal to other weapons of it's level in the auction house, and my buddy bought me heirlooms so my gear isn't that bad. Are healers just unbalanced or am I just a terrible player and people are lying to me? Thanks for reading and nice to meet you all.Travilanche17 Jun 15

I have heard that warriors are in a good place right now, your self heals are decent, and have good survivability, while DHs lack a bit in the survivability but have better self heals? I've been reading that: *Mistweaver monks are the absolute best *Followed by Resto Shaman *and Resto Druid (In that order). Which of these healers is the easiest to play? Jun 14 Help Leveling Warrior from 100-110? I'm coming back after a couple years break before Legion I had gotten a Warrior to 100 during the events they had going on. I'm wondering if Warrior is a decent class without much or any downtime when leveling / doing pve content to just grind with. I also tend to unlock most of the content in legion with the warrior as well. The only thing keeping me away is people are telling me to wait till Patch 8 for massive changes making the Warrior powerful again. Is the Warrior a bit weak right now? Thanks.Discharge6 Jun 14
