Mobile Bug Report

Feb 27, 2015 Mobile AH disappearing purchases I am having some specific trouble using the mobile and web auction houses today. The mobile app appears to work fine and I can buy/sell as normal. However, once I have purchased items from the AH they do not appear in the sell interface as being in my mail - on either the app or The items I buy are no longer listed for sale and the gold has been deducted from my account, but the purchased items seem to have vanished. They do not show up on either the mobile app or on This is not the case if I make a purchase using the web interface - that is working for me as normal. Feb 26, 2015 App logging in without being on? I'll be online in game and randomly, I'll log in on my app and see myself in guild chat. I won't be anywhere near my phone, won't have even used the app for days. How can I keep this from happening? If there's even a way? Does anyone else have this problem? Feb 23, 2015 Deleted toons show in Armory. On both PC and Mobile App Battlenet, It shows 2 characters on Shattered Halls that have long been deleted and gone. Game Master said to list it here as a bug so here i am =). Both are Low level (20 Paladin, and 56 DK both Human.)Dagnabbit0 Feb 23, 2015
Feb 21, 2015 Armory App locking account I've been trying to log into the app and each time it locks my account "due to an unusual change in its access pattern." I use mobile authentication on this phone, but the app doesnt seem to connect/check with the authenticator like it used to. Feb 18, 2015 Why is the Mobile App still available? Last time I played, I remember the armory being a thing back during Wrath and into Cataclysm, for a bit. Maybe that's wrong. Either way, when I first started having issues that so many others have had for well over a year, I searched for solutions. In the end, I came here, and like most people posting, still, when I read the stickies and various threads, I did not even realize most threads were over a year old by several months. I am not a professional, yet, so I am sure I am leaving something out of my equations, but given the monthly subscription fees, the number of real-dollars-paid-for mounts in the game as well as races changes and other services I see used often.. I can easily imagine Blizzard is not hurting for money. WoW may have lost a few million subscribers, but with just a million subscribers left, they would still be making a close to unfathomable amount of money. So, to the question: Why is the Mobile App still available if it can't be supported? The last five-ish words wouldn't fit in the title. >< All this money, which I'm sure a significant amount goes to continuing the game forward (definitely keep it going! XD), and they can't hire a team of 20 people to write a mobile app that one person could write in a year or less? These bugs can't be fixed? Seriously? I am not trying to be a jerk, and I am not seeking to mock anyone. I am fully aware that even if a Blizzard employee reads this, it will not be an employee actually responsible for anything being directly fixed. With that said, the mobile app, as far as updating characters being displayed, is a program using select statements to get information from a database. Theoretically and realistically, the same SQL statements being used at login to display the character on the Character Select screen should close to work for this mobile app. So a base SQL statement exists -- whether or not it needs to be modified. Blizzard doesn't allow the Mobile App "direct access" to those servers storing character info? Fine, put in something to get data from the database for the app, but that something isn't a black box. It's a program running the queries for the app that Blizzard programmers write. Blizzard might be a huge company; I haven't looked at their number of employees to know, but even if it's a big company with many subgroups operating, is the leadership (at whatever level) not doing their job well enough to get inter-connected features working properly? In the end, I'm just baffled. I've been in computer programming for almost ten years, and whereas I'm not a specialist on how Blizzard runs things or even someone who would claim to be the most proficient at coding, I am confident of my grasp of what it means to write something like the armory. It's just a program retrieving data from a database and displaying it. The mobile app doesn't even allow editing of the characters. The chat features and other such problems? They're not much more complicated considering that functionality is implemented in the game itself and the design of those things could be translated into the languages needed to put them into the Mobile App. I guess what I am saying (and I apologize if it comes off as arrogant or mocking) with so many resources and people further into the field of programming than myself, why isn't this fixed? I understand some bugs can be hell-a-resilient. These bugs may be affecting only 1% of the population. Why can't those of us seeking help in this forum get some sort of modern acknowledgement? Feb 17, 2015 unable to enable notifications on iPhone 6. I have an iPhone 6 plus with the latest software update installed. I'm trying to enable notifications but no matter what I do, they will not turn on. I tried to reinstall and reset my phone even. No go. Feb 17, 2015 Increase Armory AH Listing Limit (please.) Two Hundred is simply insufficient. It is not an unreasonable number, but by coincidence some players are finding that their listing cap coincides with the beginning of the evening. Yeah say bad planning all ya want, but for those who prefer to start their listings earlier in the day, being forced to log in during "primetime" isn't much fun. Personally, I've used the mobile armory through browser to avoid abusive trade chat trolls. It's nice for grabbing specific items quickly, but as a browsing tool I can't say it's better than in game. However, considering the toxicity of trade chat and the inconvenience of logging into the client as opposed to enjoying Mobile AH, I would LOVE Blizzard for giving us even a MODERATE increase in the # of listings per day. Also could you please give a "remaining listings" warning around #50 instead of 20 or 10? That would be a more appropriate amount of time to wrap things up and head into the client for the hour it takes to delete "of the monkey" and "of the eagle" off of every green lol. Feb 16, 2015 Character broken in-app after realm transfers Transferring off of a server, and then back to it (with the exact same character name), seems to have broken the mobile app for that character: 1. The AH doesn't work (says character is undergoing a paid service), 2. Old gear is shown (what he had when I transferred off in the first place), and 3. While the guild shows correctly, it is inaccessible. Background info : So I transferred off of US-Sargeras and to US-Medivh during WoD release to avoid queues. I maintained my exact character name (in case that's important). A couple of weeks ago I transferred back to Sargeras from Medivh, and assumed the same name as I originally had. Since that time, I have been unable to use the AH for that character on the app, and the app shows my old gear from before the transfer off of Sargeras. Oddly enough, NONE of the above problems exist in the armory via Internet browser (AH, gear, guild all work and show correctly). I assume this is a character ID issue?Mistborne0 Feb 16, 2015

Feb 15, 2015 Login fail server error iOS armory I Havnt played WoW in years and I'm just getting back into it. I DLed the Armory app for my iphone. when I try to log in it says "Login Fail Server error. "Please try again later. Anyone know how to solve this problem? Or does the app not work anymore? Feb 15, 2015 please give us a pay to get version that work I know blizzard probably does not put a lot of the budget towards the mobile ap. Its free of course. I wouldn't expect them to. But the free version is terrible! It works only half the time if you are lucky. I appreciate the effort put into to. Don't get me wrong. But it seems a waste of time and resources. What I would love is a mobile app that works and I'm willing to pay for it! Will blizzard please put a little bit of money into a version that will at least work 90% of the time and let us pay for it. There is a player base that would use it. Please can we have it? Feb 15, 2015 WoW Armory App - iOS after Restore Hi, I had to restore my phone the other day which backed up both the WoW Armory App and Authenticator. Upon restoration of my phone the Authenticator began working as intended the Armory App though, continues to say "Incorrect Username and/or Password." I've put in the appropriate username (email) and password then it asks to sync up the Authenticator Password, I select the "Yes" button, it processes, then returns that error. I've attempted to manually put in the Authenticator code with the same result. I've signed on to web service with the same exact information and authenticator code and have obtained success. Further, I've bypassed the app and signed directly into WoW submitting the the same username and password along with the authenticator code with success. Lastly, I've uninstalled and reinstalled WoW Armory App since restoration and I'm still receiving failure. Happy to provide any other information. Any insight regarding this would be useful please. Feb 12, 2015 3d Model Viewer crashing (Tauren models) My 3D model viewer continues to crash loading (so far, exclusively) tauren models, including posting character model. Feb 12, 2015 Armory broken = Mobile App broken Since I had to create a level 1 character to post on the forums the Armory is still broken. Which means the Mobile App is broken for every character. Feb 11, 2015 Please Add “Sort by: Rested XP” This is not a bug report, but rather a suggestion for what would be an extremely useful feature for the mobile app. I hope that this is OK here in the Mobile Bug Report. When I am away from World of Warcraft, I like to check all of my character’s rested XP and wait till one is fully rested to jump back into the game and play. The Mobile Armory App would be the perfect place to be able to do this. And the “My Characters” section is the perfect place for it in the application. Please add “Sort by: Rested XP” to the “My Characters” section of the Mobile Armory App and show the percentage out of 150%. Feb 10, 2015 character listed as undergoing a process I opened a ticket with support and they said to create a thread here for help. my ticket was Ticket #49601222 for reference if you need it. My DK Khàlder is stuck in a weird limbo when it is concerning the armory and mobile app. Back in November I believe it was I switched to Trollbane for a short time and then switched back to Emerald Dream and since then I have not been able to use the mobile armory for anything as it says my character is in the process of being transferred. This in turn also means that the character armory is not updating. I am not sure how you handle these transactions server side but I think as far as my character's status is concerned I am listed as in process of a transfer but I am actually not transferring anywhere. on the app it says "This character is temporarily unavailable while it is undergoing a process such as a realm transfer or a faction change. Please try again later." when you search my character on the armory it says im in a guild i left a while ago and it shows me in gear that i have not worn for months. Feb 9, 2015 Cannot use event calendar Hello. I am having an issue where my main cannot use the calendar in the mobile app. I get an error that "this character has been inactive for too long" but I have logged into this character almost daily since WoD launched. I found another topic with blue posts on the subject but that's outdated and it can't be a temporary outage. It seems to be related to guild events. This works fine on my alts who are in another guild that doesn't have any guild events on the ingame calendar. The events are viewable just fine on the web-based armory. Feb 8, 2015 Connection issue The app[andriod] is unable to reconnect to services after switching between connection types(mobile->wifi->mobile). Will always result in app crashing. Unable to consistently use AH without dealing with app crashes mid transaction. Also, another very irritating thing can be resolved by removing the need to log in again right after logging in to use AH. Feb 6, 2015 Weapon Display Bug On mobile armory, my Fist of Molten Fury xmog shows up backwards on my offhand. Not a huge deal but I love to show that weap off, and this kind of kills it for me. Feb 6, 2015 WoW Armory App Constantly Crashes I have tried using this app on android but it continually prompts me for my login information only to crash when I try to place an auction. In a "successful" use of this app I have to type my login information 15+ times and relaunch the app 5 or more times to post 3-4 auctions. If I want to post multiple auctions on multiple characters I should be prepared to spend 40 minutes logging in over and over to do so. I know the issue is not my internet connection, I know I am typing my information correctly, and I know I have the most recent version of the app. I know several other people who use this app and have the same issue on android. It would honestly be easier to remote desktop into my computer from my phone and use the in game auction house with how unreliable this app is.Imatroll1 Feb 6, 2015
Feb 4, 2015 Armory update for Raid Progression On Jan 29, 2015 my guild and I killed Mythic Tectus for the first time. Unfortunately the boss bugged and only one player received credit for the kill. I submitted a ticket for my guild and a GM awarded credit for the kill. After checking wowprogress I noticed that our raid progress was not updated, which is how wowprogress uses for progression tracking. After contacting an ingame GM, I was told to post here if the armory did not update. Could the appropriate actions be taken to update my armory, as well as my guildies, for the Mythic Tectus kill.Norpseldro0 Feb 4, 2015

Feb 2, 2015 Item stats shown wrong, cost me 1.2k... WoW Armory, had a faulty mistake with the item known as the [Supreme Breastplate of Stamina] in which the application showed it to have +45056 stamina, however after purchasing it, i went to the mail in-game, and noticed however it was merely +29 stamina. I had purchased it i believe for around 1200 gold. I looked back at the application on the phone and tried to sell it from my inventory to see if the stamina was still 45k... and there it was, 45056 stamina, however in my inventory it is only 29. Jan 30, 2015 Auction House after a Faction Change On the 21st of of January I did a faction change from horde to alliance on the Sargeras server. According to my order everything is complete and I have been able to play the game fine. Since the change though I no longer have access to the auction house on the WoW Armory app. When I click on the auction house icon I just get a message of, "This character is temporarily unavailable whit it is undergoing a process such as a realm transfer or a faction change. Please try again later." I have seen many other posts through searches about similar issues after realm mergers and some other things, and seems like it's a pretty common problem here and there. I have never seen any sort of solution or way to fix this issue. Does anyone have any ideas? If I switch characters on the app everything works fine. Jan 30, 2015 Armory App on Galaxy S4 The Mobile Armory app for Android is incredibly awful. Whenever I use it to try to sell items, it prompts me for my password, tells me it's incorrect/can't log in, and then it says it's unable to connect to the server and then the app crashes altogether. OR it does eventually accept my password and allows me to list one or two items, and then it crashes as it goes to the screen that allows me to list the next item. It seriously requires me to restart the app and login multiple times just to sell a few items. It's incredibly infuriating. I understand why it asks me to sign and all that, but if it would just take the password the first time and just let me stay logged in, everything would be fine. and don't even suggest that I'm mistyping my password because I'm typing it in slowly and carefully and know for a fact that I am not. Jan 30, 2015 Items not showing up in inventory More specifically, Garn Nighthowl. I farm it pretty often and have been selling it, but apparently the mobile AH never gets that. It does not appear in my inventory even when I have it in-game (so I can't put it up for auction through the app). It does not count as an active auction when I put it up for auction in-game (it just says Active Auctions (0)). I cannot search for it in the AH. It will ALWAYS say that there were no search results. I DO get the money from the sale though. Idk if you're supposed to be able to see what the actual letter says and not just claim the gold from the auction (I rarely use the app to sell anything because up until now I haven't consistently sold anything), but every time I click the mail after the auction has sold the app crashes. I just click the claim gold button at the top. It used to work but I'm not totally sure what happened. Not sure what else to say, I don't usually report bugs or anything. Jan 29, 2015 Characters list not updating I've made several new characters after starting playing again and none of them are showing up on the website or armory app. I did transfer a character last week if that might have had any effect on this. The characters are Laona, Faylean (who was transfered from Baelgun), and Faytte on Maelstrom. Jan 29, 2015 Mobile Armory Instability on Android So I've seen many threads on this already and no meaningful response from Blizzard reps on the matter. Since an update last April, the app has been giving errors of the following nature when posting auctions: Login Failed Incorrect Username/Password Cannot establish connection Usually followed by a crash. Just wondering what's up, why there's been no fix in nearly a year, and when it won't be a giant pain in the butt to post auctions. This app worked fine until that update, and there's been no fix since then. This app is actually very useful when working correctly. I love it. Jan 28, 2015 Armory Issue - long term problem FIRSTLY I APOLOGISE, I KNOW THAT THERE ARE A LARGE NUMBER OF POSTS ON THIS ISSUE BUT I JUST WANT CLARIFICATION ON WHAT TO DO: For the past few months I have let it slide as I was certain it would get fixed "soon", but it has been close to three months and ALL of my "new" characters are yet to appear on the Armory. The only accounts that do exist on my armory are the accounts I made back in TBC and prior (I quit wow for many years but came back with the release of draenor). Jan 28, 2015 Mobile Armory - Characters not showing up. For the last 2 days, the mobile (remote) armory has been acting up. I have had a subscription since day 1 for this service, and I have always been able to use my level 1 bank toon...until 2 days ago. Now, my toon doesn't show up. Jan 25, 2015 Wrong times in the calendar My raid team and I recently ran into a problem with the times posted on the calendar in the armory app. The time posted for raid would be for our realm time or 7:30pm (in game), but in the armory app it would be posted (for me and several others) two-three hours later than what it was supposed to be (9:30pm or 10:30pm). Now my time is the same time as my realm (I go by CT where as some of my raiders go by ET hence the two-three hour difference). So it should show up as the time posted (in game) in the calendar (in fact it used to). But it doesn't anymore, so when my raiding team looks it up...they think the scheduled time is much later than it should be. Yet the times for things like the Fishing tournaments, they show up in the armory app the same as the do on the in game calendar. I'm at a loss as to why that is. Jan 25, 2015 Cannot use Main character on Mobile Armory Hello, my main character (listed to the left) has not been updated on Armory since 12/22/2014, when I transferred her to Emerald Dream. Due to this, I cannot use her on the Mobile Armory since it comes up with an error when I try to access her guild, auctions, etc. Also my other level 100 on Emerald Dream - Venixa (Death Knight) has never shown up on armory EVER. I cannot access any of my Emerald Dream characters on Armory/Mobile Armory. Please update these two characters at least so I can use Armor/Mobile Armory again. Thanks!Badpuddytat0 Jan 25, 2015
Jan 25, 2015 Missing Character on Mobile App and Armory I have posted on quite a few other threads related to this problem, and have not yet received any assistance, so I am opening a new thread in hopes that my issue will get noticed easier. My issue began a few months ago, around the end of September is when I noticed it. My character was not viewable under the mobile app or under the wow armory web page. I saw a few posts that stated that it would take some time to fix and that creating a ticket would not help that I would either have to wait it out or get help on the forums. I decided to wait. Months later now, I have been logging on with this character every day doing dailies. I have earned different gear on him. I noticed one day that my guild I created wasn't accessible via the mobile app either, so I was thinking it might be causing it, so I passed Guild Ownership to another member, and /gquit. Remarkably, I was able to see the guild on the mobile app now. Playing without the mount speed increase from the guild sucked, so I decided to join a new guild. Now I still cannot find him on either the Armory or the App, but now I can't even view the new guild I am in. It appears he is breaking the guild he is in as well. As I stated I log in to him everyday, so it has been much longer then 24 hours wait period, as I see soooo many posts from blues telling us to try again in 24 hours. I understand that there has been many similar issues with the server merges, but my server has yet to be merged so I don't believe this to be the issue. All of my other characters do get updates, and are fully accessible from the App and the Armory. I went to and THEY ARE able to pull his updated gear and stats, presumably through wow's armory APIs. Please I beg for help on this issue, as he is my most played toon at this point in time, and would really like to be able to access him from these tools you have provided us with. EDIT: Forgot to mention that I have not renamed, moved servers, switched races/factions, or any other paid service recently. He was a server move YEARS ago. The guild tab is not working on the armory app. When I select it I get the error message "Armory Error, The Armory encountered and error handling this request". This has been an issue for a few months now. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but still have this issue. Everyone else in my guild does not have this issue and are able to remote chat, etc. That is why I think this is related to my account. Will someone please look at my account to resolve this? Jan 24, 2015 Please update mobile app for Warlords Is this app ever going to get an update for Warlords? The expansion has been out for over two months now, but the mobile version is still stuck in Mists of Pandaria land. For example, challenge mode still shows the level 90 dungeons. There are no level 100 talents or skills, it still thinks level 90 is the cap. I love using the app, but come on guys, it's time to get it up to speed or just stop pretending to support it.Velarenea0 Jan 24, 2015
Jan 23, 2015 Recipes not updating: Several items show the incorrect reagents / uses when you select an item then "view details". Example: Draenic Intellect Potion Still shows as requiring Abyssal Gulper Eel Flesh and Crescent Oil. Rather then the current: Talador Orchid and Crystal Vial Items that currently appear to be affected are the ones changed in the December 11th patch.Acteon0 Jan 23, 2015
