I think TBC servers are confirmed in a backwards sort of way. They connected the normal sub to classic servers. They are clearly planning more than just this.

I got around that dc bug by starting the download of live client.Then when it gets to "playable" (takes about 4 mins) I hit play and logged into retail. Then after I got to the char select screen I logged back out again (I dont have a retail sub). Then I switched back to the demo in the launcher and tried again and it worked fine.

This is true, thats why I feel this can go either way.If they leave it in I wont really care, going to be a lot of people !@#$ing themselves over long term over blue items that wont be worth it late in the game.Or they can remove it and we will just stay like normal. Either way, not a deal breaker for me.
