What?There is no box cost. WoW retail only costs a sub fee, there is no box. if you want current expansion, you buy it, but they have not stated you need the expansion, just a subscription. You're complaining about a thing that doesn't exist. You have no box cost. You put down 15 dollars, you get a month of classic, what more do you want?

Many of the QoL features were like drugs. Super fun innitially, dopamine overload. Players initially love the feature because it's new and they get to see content. Over time the drugs make you less and less happy, and end up causing your health to deteriorate, rotting you out from the inside. That's what LFR, RDF, etc are. They catered to the top 10% and bottom 10% of the playerbase, alienating core MMO players. WoW's target demographic is not MMO players, I don't really know what it is to be honest. The game doesnt have strong hardcore or casual appeal.
