Yeah, they didn't have a ton of quests yet, but the idea that they are far more different than "generic blonde-haired blue-eyed Tolkien-esque elves" is fairly interesting. I'm still going to play my blood elves because they appeal to me and not because of their racials; I've never picked a race because of the racials, I pick what I like. However, I am just surprised to see people informing us how OP it is. It's been like this since Burning Crusade and no one ever blinked at it, but now, suddenly, it needs nerfing? The only thing changed was that we no longer had to mana tap before we were able to use it, and even then, no one acted like it was OP. Go figure.Oh well, I'll just have to deal with having a little less utility.

Give it a rest. If ever there was a definitive answer on if you are going to have high elves, getting voids elves should tell you that you won't. I get it, you are unhappy with the cool back story and unique re-skin of a race, but goodness, let it go and enjoy what you have. Role play is also helpful to make a character unique to you. Make up a story for your void elf that fills that high elf void. No pun intended.

As much as I would love to see Kael come back, after how they handled Illidan's return, I'd rather they just left him alone.
