I think the idea is terribly implemented and is going to create a lot of strain on both Forsaken and Night Elf narratives.That said, I think, if they were done differently, Forsaken Night Elves could be interesting as a concept. Baine could have done so much this expansion to instill faction pride, to invigorate the Horde in this conflict, but instead he says nothing. By now he has such a record of seeking peace, trying to ease conflicts that it is almost assumed he will always be seeking a peaceful solution. I like how much ‘clutter’ and furniture is in Alliance buildings, to the point of jealousy. I feel too many Horde buildings are either empty shells on the inside, or have no room to put things in. The Alliance buildings feel more “lived in” and I love that.

Sorry for the delay in replies, and thank you to all the positive comments, as well as rightful criticism. Now that I'm back I'd like to add one small addition to this. I believe that this theory also does one other critical thing, which is that it explains why we haven't been told about a 'better reason' yet.
