I panicked, and that Is where the memory ends. I'm told that the car went down the driveway, across the road and into a ditch, and that my father had to call a tow truck to get it out.

I don't have an answer for those questions, but I have thought of an explanation for something else some viewers of The Force Awakens have been quibbling about.Darth Vader was enjoying some nice relaxation time in the force nether when he heard somebody mention his name. He took a look and saw a pansy would-be sith called Kylo Ren doing things in his name. After a lengthy face palm, he went looking for someone... anyone... who was force sensitive that he could work through to give that whiny twit a slap. And that is why Rey is suddenly so good with the force.
