I've heard very good things about the Four Winds Trading Co and Modan Co. I believe Four Winds is mercantile and Modan is archaeology-focused.

This year's ToA is the first I've been to and I've really enjoyed seeing so many folks get together to play. I'm going to try to actually engage with more players as the week goes on. I was a little shy at first.Wishing everyone a great Tournament!

I'm still building my character, but a dual spec actually makes a lot of sense for her: her worldview has pretty radically shifted over time from an individualist, combative, and confident perspective to a much more uncertain, introspective, community-minded perspective. I still need to figure out if it's more accurate to think of it as a transition from Retribution to Protection, or Protection to Holy. Having the dual spec is a handy way of expressing how her past stays with her.

Love the idea. Sal is a bit shy in person, but I can definitely see her accepting a stone and sheepishly giving it a try.

Speaking from a newbie perspective, I've found the Moon Guard forum really useful for getting a sense of the RP communities there (military groups, merchant companies, archeologists, etc). There seem to be a lot of cross-guild events and the general sense of goodwill has been very pleasant.I haven't seen much walk-up RP in-game. My impression is that spontaneous RPing is less common than pre-arranged guild sessions.
