I hate to say it, but questing feels pretty damn essential right now. Unless you don't want world quests for some reason? You can't really skip anything unlike previous expansions.

I disagree. I thought it was awful. I enjoyed Overlord and the first season of Log Horizon much more. Or having a dark take on the MMORPG with Re:Zero, which is fantastic, though it's obviously based on a visual novel.
