Unfortunately they're probably that desperate.

It's a cash grab. That's it. Find me a fundamental piece of the game that isn't oriented around extending your subscription. Find me a fundamental piece of the game that isn't about minimum developer effort for maximum monetary return. Hint: You can't. Also inb4: "But it's a b-b-business!"

It's not hard, it's just tedious.And that's on purpose, to prompt you to buy a boost. This is a glorified mobile game, move on people.

Being this upset that a Youtuber criticizes the game really just affirms his point. If the game was truly well off, no one would be here making counter posts, or trying to do unpaid damage control.

I've had a nearly identical experience this expansion as I did in Warlords.A good start devolves into a monotonous grind via time gates, and then my friends quit, my guild falls apart, and eventually I just don't log in.It's a joke, really.
