How much haste is too much? (Ret)

Paladin
I must be the only Ret with 4pc and no weapon =/

does "no weapon" include normal weapon if youre a heroic raider? if so
I know the feels =\

Im going with 40% haste then stacking mastery. I didn't get my 4p till tuesday so I havent had that long to play with it in SoO but Im liking going mastery after 40% haste. Maybe once im at 60% mastery nobuff I'll start going crit
Everyone is making really good point but neglecting to mention the Swing Haste is still effective passed 40% cause it will increase the frequency at which Exorcism Can reset as well as increase your melee dmg. Personally i can get 44% Haste out of my gear by giving up a bunch of other stats but in 5 minute test i find that mastery is dealing upwards of 500k plus dmg I have 2 braces all haste and all mastery and so going with 900 less haste for 900 more mastery at 40% for 500-750k more dmg over 5 minutes is starting to look like the best way to increase Dmg done sorry for my broken thoughts hope it makes sense to someone
Worse, it's been lost to all but...Myself, Arte, and you, it seems

I asked about this on EJ, hopefully it gets a follow up.
hopefully it gets a follow up.

Yeah, hopefully. More information than that one tiny blurb would be useful.
