I don't have Optimum, but i route through the same servers in NY to get to my realm and have been experiencing high latency for the past week.

What about me? I still can't go into outlands. And now, I was doing randoms on my 60 druid, Shroombeam, and I tried to rez to run back...loading screen gets stuck at 95% for outlands and i get an error saying character not found. Please help...now I really can't play.

At least can you move my character to Stormwind until this is resolved? So I can continue to play.

Also I have no latency issue, im hovering over my latency in Hellfire, 11ms home, 12ms world but constant spamming of Transfer aborted in hellfire as we speak, if i dismount im stuck there until a gm moves me because i cant recast my mount. How is this optimums issue in one-three zones?

I can then fly back into terokar and poof all is fine?
I don't see what the point of posting these is going to help any. Bit too coincidental that all this happened after the so called maintenance and restart that happened yesterday but whatever... I am in Australia and my ISP is IInet and I play on the Nagrand server.

Any blue response yet? I can't play on my Druid, this really sucks.

The fact that this is an issue mainly with folks with Optimum Online in the NY/NJ area should pretty much narrow it down...

Its a battlegroup thing IMO only happens on Malganis battlegroup for me at least

How about a blue response has been one on my stats in 3 days!
On December 6th, I sent in a ticket stating that I could no longer sign onto my druid that was picking herbs in the Western Plagueland - "character not found". I talked to the GM Magothet (a really nice guy) and figured out it had to do with the NY ISP issue with Optimum Online. I'm east end of Long Island.

I still cannot login on that one character and today I'm experienced a lot of lag on my others.

Has there any be resolution? Or any new information?

Man optimum online users are having a great time
I know we shouldn't have to resort to using outside sources to fix lag problem etc but I also had this problem and I'm from New Zealand, 2k+ ping so I used Reduce the lag and fixed the problem, now around 150 which is good for us using US servers. I originally used reduce the lag for other games. Try it, it's cheap and as I said we shouldn't have to but as an immediate fix right?
Bumping. So seeing your pathpings, it's Level 3, and AT&T that are causing problems. AT&T was a problem earlier this year as well, causing players to not be able to connect at all.

I am not routed through Level 3, I have the AT&T problem, but these posts need to continue because after extensive work with tech support they said they need as many posts as possible to be able to work with these companies to fix it.

Other than that, you can contact your ISP, make sure you go to higher ups, in order to give pressure from both sides for this to get fixed. It is your ISP's job to make sure you are receiving internet services.

I would post my data here, but I've already done that at another thread with Blizz attention, as I explain on page 3. (no blue post yet, but I've been assured it will get one by tech support)

Yesterday I was finally able to log back onto my druid. I hope the issue has been resolved with everyone else!
Still experiencing high latency, not going through the pathping effort, you have more than enough samples here. This is kind of ridiculous. It's constant. It's always something either with Optimum or the NY servers.

Optimum sent out 'one of their best' technicians to come and check my wires/modem and the new router that Optimum gave me.

"Move some of this stuff around, the metal from the filing cabinet might be interfering with the signal from the modem"
