Transmute: Living Elements Clarification

Also confirming that Transmutation Master is bugged and not awarding any additional elements.
As a correction to this statement, alchemists with Transmutation specialization will currently only have a chance to receive bonus Volatile elements when completing Transmute: Living Elements. The bonus and its chance of success will not be determined by the zone in which the transmutation is completed.

Apologies for the confusion. After testing, this has been confirmed as intended.

Additionally, alchemists with Transmutation specialization will have a chance to receive bonus Volatile elements when completing this transmute. The bonus will be random, though, regardless of which zone you are in.
We're aware that performing Transmute: Living Elements while in Deepholm does not currently yield any Volatile Earth and are working to apply a hotfix as we speak.

Please note that once this hotfix is applied, you will no longer receive both Volatile Air and Volatile Earth when using the transmute in Uldum. Instead, you will only receive Volatile Air (excluding bonus procs). This was an unintended side-effect and will be addressed shortly. Thanks!

I just did this in Deepholm (at 6:47 AM PST). Not only is the extra proc for a Transmute Master not working, the main proc is also not working. That's right, I just ran Transmute: Living Elements, it used up 15 Volatile Life, I got nothing at all in return, and my cooldown is now active and I have to wait until tomorrow to try another transmute.

And what about those of us who are getting nothing at all from the transmute?

EDIT: I see, I was in Deepholm when I received nothing, Thank you for the reply.

Forgive me for my nerd rage.
I was in Orgrimmar when I did my first transmute and received nothing back, just ate all my volatile life.

Ah thanks for clarifying that. I actually read that xmute masters were supposed to always and then was confused as both times I've done it in Stormwind I got 16 Earth for one and 16 Air for the next. With no other extra window list. That's a neat bonus. Hope I get some nice procs soon and it isn't like 1 proc per month =P.

There was a rolling restat on all the realms this morning. Did that fix it? I looked and noticed I need some earth so was going to go there today then remembered it was bugged.

Did the restarts this morning apply the fix. Please say it is so.
I also did this transmute in Deepholm and got nothing. I have had a ticket in for this for two days and heard nothing back yet. Will we be getting the original uncrafted items back when this is fixed? Or will we get the crafted items and the skill up that should have resulted?

I bought the items and did the crafting specifically for the skill up and now I have neither :(
Any chance of making this transmute not have a cooldown shared with Truegold? It's kinda useless if you can't make Truegold.

Hey thanks for the explanation but i did this in orgrimmar and i got 19 volatile air and 16 volatile water (i am transmute specd) is this suppost to happen or was there like a bug or something. Im really not compaining because i like that i got aton of volatiles but i am questioning it.
Went to Deepholm and got my 15 volatile earth. So confirmed fixed.

I'm wondering if there is a bug now. I am a transmute master, yet I seem to proc bonus potions and no bonus transmutes.
There are quite a few posts on these forums saying that if you are X spec, you don't get procs for X spec, but you get them for Y and Z. Example:

I am pot spec, but i don't get pot procs, i get xmute and potion procs.
So based on the latest edits to this post, being Transmute spec is looking to be even more worthless than it was in Wrath...

When we only get to transmute once a day, it's a real pain that it never seems to proc extra.

EDIT: but if it's super bugged and just swapped around, please fix soon? :)
Transmute spec here. I've transmuted daily for the past week and a half and have had 2 extras procs... so about 20% of the time so far.
Interesting. And i guess 0.000001% percent of alchemists know that. Glad i read that post.

You can do more than one transmute per day; it's just that the more valuable ones are on a daily cooldown.

Really wish that they'd un-share the CD for Truegold and Volatile transmutes :( kind of pointless to have a shared CD
