Lone wolf idea

Hunter
I love the concept of this ability and the raw damage increase. That being said one of the main reasons that I play Hunter is so I can have a sick looking pet. I think that the 30% damage buff should be applied when you put your pet on passive, that way your wolf can still stand beside you looking cool as ever while you pump out the extra DPS. This satisfies the problem and everyone wins. Something to consider blizzard
So...Lone Wolf with a mascot?
The entire point of the talent is for the individuals who love playing hunters but DON'T like the pet aspect of the class, your suggestion would negate the appeal of this talent for those whom it is intended for.

I understand where you're coming from, but if you enjoy your pet, then the Lone Wolf talent simply isn't for you.
If you put your pet on passive you can still make him attack manually...

And one could still benefit from pet abilities, such as buffs, ccs etc.. This would break the class as one would very easily be able to exploit the talent and yet still benefit from having the pet out.
