Eight World of Warcraft Rated Battleground teams have been chosen to test their skills in battle at the first ever Gamer’s League RBG tournament: “The Battle of the Atlantic." This tournament will be used to celebrate the official launch of the Gamer’s League website.

The event will be occurring live on Friday February 13th, Saturday February 14th, and Sunday February 15th.

The Battle of the Atlantic has gathered the top four US teams and the top four EU teams to go head to head with each fighting for a prize pool of $3,000 and the chance to be declared the best RBG team in the world. Join us throughout the stream for multiple giveaways and an expert analysis of each match. Two teams will advance to the grand finals to face off in a best of 7 championship match you won’t want to miss! Casters Desecration and Reinhart will be here to bring you all of the action as it happens.

Join us on Friday, February 6th, 7 PM PST at www.gamers-league.com and Twitch.tv/GamersLeagueLive for the Battle of the Atlantic Worlds Reveal Show when we reveal and break down the eight teams competing in the tournament.
Are they going to cheat in the tournament? Do they know how to play without cheating?
Are the servers going to be in the middle of the Atlantic so they have equal latency?
More than excited to be casting this tournament! Looking forward to the Worlds Reveal Show this upcoming Friday where we'll all get to see the teams for the first time!
the teams were already leaked in the aj thread
You'll do a great job at casting. REALLY looking forward to Friday.

Lore, you should watch this so when cheating happens you can insta-ban.

We have a very strong system in place right now to prevent cheating of any kind in the tournament. If it happens we will catch it, and teams will be eliminated, however we've taken all appropriate measures to prevent it at this point in time.
Remember it is never cheating apparently. Just "clever use of game mechanics."

Kinda sad this is what it takes to get a blue response on these forums.

Sorry Lore, still love you, but Holinka is really making this community toxic with the 0 communication during this xpac. For a lead PvP designer, he really is doing a poor job keeping the pvp community in the loop.
Remember guys you have plenty of time to adjust your kick interrupt bot to a lower % so it doesn't look so obvious.
Why exactly does everyone assume that theres gonna be cheating..

Are you doing this on live servers? If so, Blizzard can ban them if they do cheat along with any punishments for the rest of the team Gamer's League deems fit.

I suppose because RBG's typically involve some form of foul-play beyond 1500 CR. Increasingly and exponentially so more toward 2kish CR and up.

But, it's a community-based tournament, so cheaters will be dealt with. Not sure why people haven't taken that into account considering, but the people who know the truth have it figured out for themselves. Glad to see an event like this, and hope I'm around to watch it. Good luck to everyone involved!

Look at you, Lore. Even after all the flak you get for being a face for Blizzard when you responded to the cheaters of last season (Which, admittedly, could've had a much better outcome, but that's not your fault), you still post in the PVP boards. Glad to see it at all, shows these boards really do get read from time to time.
Any Horde teams? Kappa
