Auto Loot with Findle's Loot-A-Rang help...

UI and Macro
Hello all... looking for a bit of insight as to why this bit of scripting is not working:

#showtooltip Findle's Loot-A-Rang
/script SetCVar("autoLootDefault", "1");
/use Findle's Loot-A-Rang
/script SetCVar("autoLootDefault", "0");

The /use works fine, and the final /script sets the appropriate value; however, the initial /script that turns on the Auto Loot doesn't seem to be effective.

In essence I want the script to: Turn on Auto Loot, Use the Loot-A-Rang, and then Turn off Auto Loot

Any insight would be great!

Looks like the script is processing too quickly... the CVar's are changing faster than the /use command is being effected...
When you /use or /cast, the macro sends a request to the server to use or cast something. By the time it gets around to actually using an item or casting a spell, the macro is a long distance memory.

You can do:

/run SetCVar("autoLootDefault", "1")
/use Findle's Loot-A-Rang
/run C_Timer.After(2,function() SetCVar("autoLootDefault","0") end)

to make it turn off auto looting 2 seconds after you hit the macro.
Cool! Thank you Ro!
