even if they get rid of it, locks can still have 2 x spell locks back to back by design with GoS, though with a longer cooldown.
Double lock is pretty d4mn far down the list as far as "game breaking" issues (which this is not)

With hunters getting toned down and KS being CC'able plus across the board damage buffs for UA, our Warlock overlords and 918726342 WLS teams in que are coming gentlemen.

Also, mages get frostjaw and counterspell.
So, turns out there was actually something in place to try to prevent this behavior, but a bug was preventing it from working properly. We were able to put a quick hotfix together that fixes that bug, which should be rolling out in the very near future. After this hotfix, it should no longer be possible to have your Felhunter use Spell Lock, Sacrifice it, and then use Spell Lock yourself.

The fix in the other direction -- using Spell Lock via Sacrifice, summoning a Felhunter, then using the Felhunter's Spell Lock -- is a lot more involved. Since the pet doesn't actually exist at the time, we can't put its Spell Lock on cooldown. We're planning to fix that in the future, but it won't be part of this hotfix. That said, doing the trick that way around with any degree of speed would require the user to spend a Soul Shard or Burning Ember, which is a fairly significant cost.

Yes, we're impressed, but this was really a minor thing overall. Why can't we get other fixes that can ruin seasons for days/weeks/months in this short amount of time? Other then, we're investigating it.

In this case, all of the "work" was already done, and it was a fairly trivial matter to fix the bug and get it out. Took a few minutes each from a handful of people. There was no time taken away from more important issues as a result of fixing this.

But to speak to the underlying sentiment of "Blizzard is too slow to fix class issues that have major impact on PvP", we agree, and are working on some changes for a future patch (not 6.2) that we hope will allow us a lot more flexibility in PvP balance.
