Dumbest Nerf by Blizzard

This latest mastery nerf by Blizzard has to be the dumbest thing they have done in quite a while. They nerfed mastery for bears in half. Mastery gives health, healing received, and attack power. The only thing that was even remotely overpowered was the health. But instead of modifying that, they shock and awed (nuked) mastery so that all of the other parts of mastery went down with health. We are not the best in threat right now and we could use a lot of help with attack power and healing received. Blizzard could keep the health bonus nerfed but this is too much right now.

Yes, which is the only useful stat we had going for us, since crit doesn't do anything with primal fury only for cats. And haste, well, that is like a band-aid on chopped off limb.

Edit: To make matters worse is that the first 10 seconds you log-in, you are teased with the proper amount of mastery. Then you get nerfed live. It is beyond frustrating.

Maybe they intend Versatility to finally be a tanking stat?

About time Druid got a nerf.
So we are supposed to stack versa while every other tank gets nice benefits from their mastery and other stats?

@Discover, I was in your guild for a while on another character. I am hoping to get Blizzard's attention with this.
The extremity of the reductions to tanks is totally unnecessary. I would be fine with the stamina increase or healing buff from mastery being significantly lower, as I have 35-50% more health than non-druid tanks with the same gear, but my damage and healing (most of my threat) is not quite on par. Losing 50% of my bonus attack power will simply make druids incapable of being main tank over someone with even moderately higher damage output.

I have to agree this was unnecessary, it puts bear tanks in a position of not being wanted as MTs. Pally and war already very powerful tanks, this will crap all over guardian druid

I'm glad they brought BEARS back in line with other tanks. You were unkillable in world pvp and your mastery boosted almost everything about you. The only thing missing was increasing your wang size.

lol about time they nerfed this crap show
I take my bear and do events. It is a far cry to pull aggro from anything unless I growl and even then I have the bosses focus for a couple seconds and then it is off to attack something else.....at least it is saving me trips from the GY.

You're obviously not a tank on any character. We don't care about the health and we care about the healing received to a lesser extent. The huge problem is that the attack power was nerfed from the mastery. We need that in order to be viable as a tank. And PvP is not balanced around PvE. Plus, we get like only 20% of stats for PvP. So you must be brainless.
Remember what Blizzard said they want tanks to be "healer dependent."

Its not in the patch notes and it bugs when logging in back to the pre "nerf" maybe they just !@#$ed up?
