All-Druid <Guardians of the Grove>

Wyrmrest Accord
Guardians of the Grove is up and running, and with that, opening its' doors to any and all Druids that wish to join us! Below is a quick rundown of our requirements, expectations, and goals for prospective members.

FAQ -
What is GOTG?
Guardians of the Grove is an all-druid roleplaying guild!

What does GOTG do?
We roleplay together, make Druid-oriented events, and teach others the arts and wisdom that only our class is capable of.

Does GOTG do anything aside from roleplay?
Of course! We run all-druid dungeons, raids, and PvP groups. Lions, moonkin, and bears, oh my!

Do I have to fulfill any OOC requirements aside from being a Druid?
Not particularly! We accept that some of our members will be Druid alts, even expect and encourage it. The only true OOC requirement I enforce is that our members treat one another, and the rest of the server with respect.

Boy howdy, I'm a Druid and want to join! What's my next step?
Great question. Contact either me, or another officer online where you'll be set up with a brief IC introduction! Every member has to go through it to ensure we're on the right page about the guild being RP-oriented.

Our old system for ranks was pretty basic, revolving around what affinity you tended to follow IC. However, as the guild grows, it is going to be more beneficial to have defined ranks and advancements for people to progress to. As such, I've re-ordered our structure to allow for this, as well as fit and accommodate how we are more likely to look at problems, as Druids.

Ranks are split between two sub-factions;

Wardens reflect our physical, combative side. Druids of the Claw, Talon, or any who would respond eagerly to the call of battle. They are the muscle, might and ferocity of the Guardians.

Weavers are our spiritualists, land-menders, and emissaries. Working their trade and keeping distance from the danger of the battlefield, our Weavers are the wise speakers of the Guardians, often advising, mentoring, and advocating passivity where it would better suit a confrontation.

The two activities and philosophies are not exclusive. A Warden can still undertake the activities of a Weaver, and vice versa.

Wardens and Weavers have three tiers to them, regular, Revered, and High. A revered member of each caste are exemplary cases, those that can be relied upon to work with others and actively seek to better the Grove in its entirety. A High Warden or Weaver are the leaders of their group, the position only being able to be held by two committed members at a time.

Expectations for a High Weaver, for example, would be to help push the Guardians to areas that they're required, and coach the less experienced Druids if needed.

A High Warden, by contrast, would guide their caste into areas where more force is required, striking strategically and tactically with what forces they command. In addition, they would be the individuals responsible for organizing and overseeing sparring among the Guardians.

When a new Druid decides to join the Guardians, they will be classified as a Prospective, untested in mind or body, they will need to work to obtain familiarity and respect among their peers. Successful prospects will then be Proven, a between-position between Warden and Weaver, requiring a short ritual of commitment to one or the other, overseen by the respective leader of their caste.
Up to twelve Druids and rising!

Its totally fun, I went to the last one, and ended up joining the guild, Everyone is sweet, nice and very helpful. They have helped me level and we RP a lot. The guild has been an amazing experience. I encourage the druid community to come RP with us and have fun.
P.S All-Druid mythics are really fun.

I have a druid (Rendiati) in GotG currently. Rendclaw and friends are a real treat to RP with, and this guild is up to a great start for being so new!

Can confirm 10/10 would join again.
Hi there Rendclaw, it looks like the guild is going great... the mythics look really fun and I always wished for an all-druid team myself!

You asked that I get in contact with you once the druid event plans are solid, and now they are! We are returning the event to Moonglade where it has been for the past several years.

I hope to see you and your guild there! Let me know if you want me to send you a calendar invite, I can give you mod access to invite your members as well.
