Im going to keep contavting support until they give info to the higher devs about the solutions that do not work . I asked them why they reffered my to this thread when i linked them this thread heres their answer tell me how utter pathetic cs is rn "This is Game Master Isdarskel with Blizzard Entertainment. Thank you for taking the time to ticket in today. I hope this message finds you in good spirits!

I understand there's been some trouble with the Dalaran loading screen.

This is currently an issue that our developers are aware of and are looking into. While they may not reply, our developers, QA team, and community teams all browse the forums on a daily basis, and are aware that this post exists.

I definitely understand that this issue is very vexing, I'm experiencing it myself, every time I load into Dalaran.

The best thing that you can do is send in a bug report from your game client, about it, that way our Dev and QA teams can collect relevant information about your character and settings.

While I really wish there was more we could do here for you, the only thing we can do for now is wait while our developers and QA work to get this issue resolved. "
So i wrotw thwm up again putting them on blast nicley about how they shpuld be reporting these tickets to higher up devs that are working on the issue and doing their job instead of telling me that i should submit a bug report like really cs im smarter then that come on now .
This part of the ticket made me LOL

Their answers always seem so copy & paste, whatever the issue may be.
Same problems as everyone in this thread. It's absolutely horrible loading into new Dalaran. It bad everywhere else though too. Seems like there might be a correlation between the amount of time to load and how populated the instance or zone is. I'll post my dxdiag later tonight.

I reloaded my UI and did the canned delete the WTF. I run the default UI anyway.
The past few days weren't bad, but I suspect that's because a lot of people travel and wouldn't be on wow around thanksgiving. Today it's back with a vengeance. I agree about everything posted here, it has to be something with population load and CRZs.
I've restarted the game twice now just trying to *log on*.
+1
Massive slow down on load screens started the day 7.1 went live. Over a month later and the only change is that they have gotten even longer and frequently require using Windows Task Manager to force quit. Note that when doing this it shows WoW as "running", meaning it is still supposedly responsive. Leaving WoW on the load screen for 20+ min doesn't change it's status in the Task Manager, doesn't get the game off the load screen either. CPU usage is typically 2-3% depending on if browser is up and how many windows it has open. Physical Memory usage typically runs 20-25%, again depending on web browser, etc running. When the load screen hangs in WoW CPU usage goes up about 1%, not really a problem on a i7 3.20GHz processor. Physical Memory usage goes up to 75-80% which is more than even PhotoShop uses when rendering. I have 8G of physical memory btw. Running Win7 64-bit with WoW installed on secondary HDD. I do not have any SSD and nowhere in the system requirements for WoW that Blizz has posted is it stated that a SSD is required or even recommended.

Hearthing to new Dal or WoD garrison results in force quitting WoW 9/10 times. However, using Vivianne's portal to garrison ability doesn't result in a hung loading screen, tho it is still much slower than pre 7.1 patch load screens. Using the zep is as bad as hearthing to Dal, with the added pleasure of multiple force quits until a load screen finally finishes in time for me to escape the zep before it takes off again. Portals to the major cities from Shrine and portal to/from Hellfire are slow but work.

Other than the usual random lag spikes my home/world ms are usually 40/40ish. FPS is generally 80+ except new Dal where it's around 60ish, unless it just tanks to less than 20 for no reason. Opening the flightmaster's map in Dal causes a 15-20 second freeze. I've even had multiple load screens on taxis when reaching destinations in Broken Isles.

What have I done on my end to troubleshoot this you ask? Best ask what I haven't done.
1. Delete Cache - no change
2. Rename Cach, WTF, Interface to **OLD - no change
3. Run repair utility - no problems found and no change
4. Ran checks on INET connection - no problems, no change
5. Update GFX drivers, all drivers, got Windows updates - no change
6. Defrag drives, run registry checks, check for malware/viruses/etc. - no change
7. Remove WoW completely and reinstall (no addons) - no change
8. Switched my gfx card from ATI to nVidia - no change
9. Reinstall Win7 64bit then removed and reinstalled WoW a 2nd time on separate HDD (still no addons) - no change except my system is squeaky clean now.
10. Came out to forums and found this thread that was already 20+ pgs. Turned off streaming - no change.
11. Reduced view distance to 1 - no change except I had to be on top of mobs before I could see them.
12. On a whim, reduced in game gfx setting to 1, note I was running on 7+ prior to patch 7.1 - no change other than the game looked terrible when I actually did manage to beat the load screen boss.
13. Removed the Legion, Armory and Hearthstone apps from my tablet because I ran out of anything else to try - Fewer force quits even for Dal and WoD garrison but I've only had a few hours to test it and was playing at 3-4 am PST so could just have been because the server was mostly dead. Update: Problem persists as bad as ever. The temporary respite was likely due to not having as many folks logged into the server that night. It was the night before Thanksgiving after all.
14. Tried hopping on one leg with my eyes crossed while chanting "Load you worthless piece of !@#$" and waving a rubber chicken at the screen - no change but my cats found it entertaining.

Conclusion - it's not on my end Blizz. It's not my internet, I have ComCast as ISP provider BTW and everything else works absolutely fine. Check the gfx changes you made in 7.1. Check your servers since high traffic times seem to make the already excessive load times even longer, when they bother to load at all. Take a look at how CRZ is affecting the servers. And start talking to your customers! We paid for WoW, Legion expansion and game time. We have NOT gotten value for our hard earned cash since patch 7.1 went live. No business can remain viable when they do not give their customers what they are contractually obligated to deliver.

I have to budget an extra fifteen minutes whenever I want to travel to the Broken Isles from anywhere else. I am loathe to swap characters or travel unnecessarily.

I've learned to do a quick /reload before hitting any loading screen to save any settings and logs for when I inevitably have to forcequit the game.

Using the boats or zeppelins is risking getting stuck in a never-ending cycle of load screens, since as soon as I finally reach my destination, I get hit with the return loading screen since I didn't exit the boat/zep before it left port again.

For the first time since Pandaria, I've changed my hearthstone away from the shrine, setting it to a random inn because it's easier to zone into Val'sharah or somewhere and fly to Dalaran. (And hearthing to the Shrine is almost as bad as Dalaran)

This bug is literally changing the way I play WoW and making me rethink whether I want to go to the effort of logging in if I only have a half hour or so to play, when before 7.1 the game and WQs were pretty awesome for quick sessions.

I've tried every bit of advice I've found from deleting files, changing settings, etc.

I know this post isn't particularly constructive or adding anything new, but I'm at the point where I really need to vent my frustration in a manner other than punching my screen.
I don't think I can keep playing this game anymore if it's going to take 5+ min to load in to dalaran. My laptop has half the computing power of my desktop and can load in in <10s. Really come on you can fix this if you want me to pay on an ongoing basis.
Other day I hearthed to dalaran, got the loading screen, waited an hour. Went to bed and came back 9 hours later and the loading screen was still there.

*Throws Dalaran back into the crater.*
I love to see people posting more DxDiag. I don't know if they're doing any good, but Bliz asked for them and I've seen MAYBE 2 dozen in 111 pages of posts. Get them that info, folks.
The ridiculousness of the lack of tangible response from blizzard.... how about a freaking update or was this exercise in "collecting data" just a pacifier while you ignore what was altered in 7.1 to cause this mess.
I admit it would be nice if they told us what they've eliminated and/or found that's causing it, even if they don't know how to fix it, yet.

Supposedly there's a fix (that doesn't seem to be working at all) on the PTR, so they have to have an IDEA what it is.

My favorite experience so far is that on a Friday I was playing an alt and hearthed to Dalaran. She got stuck on a loading screen, so I quit the game and switched to playing my main. Played all weekend as normal, came back on Monday, and happened to check to see which of my friends and guildies where lurking in the global chat channels we use on my server.

Image my surprise when I noticed that the owner of all the chat channels was myself, via my alt, who had not properly logged off for over three days even though I'd been playing other characters.

-.-

I may have said this before, but this is also likely due to the age of the engine. They haven't really done much to overhaul the actual game engine, and have spent a bit more focus on the graphics engine. Couple that with CRZ's and the game hits a breaking point.
You might as well say it every new page. I doubt anyone reads more than the last page anyway.
Well, I read all the pages since the last time I was here. However, I agree that people new to this thread probably aren't going to read more than maybe the first and last pages (if that) plus the blue posts whatever the heck many pages back they are.
WTH is wrong with wow loading screens! 15 minutes to get anywhere, the worst one is that stupid shrine place in panda ville population 1.5
I got kicked out of 2 groups today because when i entered the dungeon it took 10 minutes and by then the group thought i was afk and kicked....
This has been happening for so long I cannot believe Bliz hasn't fixed it or at the very least updated us within the past two weeks. So sad.
