WoW51900319

Technical Support
Like mentioned above, we're happy to take a look if you get us the needed information on these disconnections. Pidgy and Aag, here's what I'm looking at on yours:

@Pidgy -
| 96.120.41.81 - 4 | 61 | 59 | 7 | 11 | 23 | 9 |
|Te4-3-ur01.shaven.mi.michigan.comcast.net - 4 | 61 | 59 | 8 | 11 | 21 | 9 |

So for this one, at the modem looks fine, however once it leaves you can see there is a solid data loss that starts. Since WoW is a streaming game any data loss like this could potentially DC you from the game. Where I would go from here is to get in touch with your ISP, let them know that after the connection leaves your house there is ~4% data loss starting via the connection tests that you ran. There are number of possible causes for this ranging from a modem issue to actual issues with the data center or cable lines between the house and that first data center. However the ISP would be the ones best suited to dig into this further and see why you're seeing that data loss.

@Aag -
| 10.0.0.1 - 1 | 175 | 174 | 12 | 55 | 281 | 113 |
| 96.120.17.1 - 1 | 175 | 174 | 37 | 108 | 425 | 193 |

For this one, there is a little big of data loss however it's not a large amount. One concern I have here is you're getting 55ms average latency at the modem which means that from your PC to the modem it's taking 55ms. I would say let's start by trying to get that down and see if it helps. Typically this is due to a wireless connection, if you can please try a wired connection or at least move the PC closer to the modem and see if that helps. If not, please reply back with new WinMTR reports while you have the connection setup like that and I'll take another look. =)

From what I gather from other posts in the past it might be entirely an ISP issue though I wouldn't know what to tell them with regards to letting me connect properly.
Thanks for giving that a shot Aag,

Just wondering is this a college, business or just normal home connection? I ask because even on wired the average latency is still pretty high. 34ms and 41ms at the modem you typically would expect to see that closer to less than 10ms on a wired (usually less than 3ms).
I am having the same problem. One thing i am noticing in particular is that everyone has Comcast. Are you guys perhaps also using a Comcast provided modem? I think it has to do with the IDS on the modem causing problems.
Thank you. I will look at the lines the leave my house and get in contact with my provider. Everything inside seams fine and we shall see if this may help. Thanks for the input.
I have the same issue. I even had Comcast come out thinking it was the modem box and they tested the box and went up to the pole and found no issues. I did a trace and ping sorry for the long thread. and when I close out the game and re-run it everything is fine for about 10 sec and then I start getting really high home and world ms. I've ran a speed test and that's show 30 ms and a download speed of 233mbps. I'm out of ideals

Showing some data loss here once it gets to your local network. Can you Grab a WinMTR data from the post mentioned HERE for me please. That will give a better picture of where the data loss is starting basically.
this past few months that WOW51900319 has become & will become a very bad issue blizzard needs to take better steps to fix this or lose long time players
not sure that it's going to do any good....

Your issue starts at your home network. If it's comcast equipment have them replace it.
I work for Comcast. Let me know the following:

* Geographic location (city, county, etc)
* If you are in a single family home, an apartment, a condo, dorms, etc.
* What cable model are you using
* If you have tried https://speedexperience.xfinity.com/
* If it is just WoW or other games

I'll keep an eye on the thread.

Hey all,

We're more than happy to help as much as possible, however to start that we need to troubleshoot the issue as with any technical issue. Part of this is getting a connection log so that we can see what the connection is actually doing as it's being routed to us. It's not uncommon for one service over the internet to work fine while another doesn't. As they take different routes (even between our own games as some are on different servers) or even use different ports. So that we can help with locating the cause or likely culprit however we would need to rule out common causes first, then move on to actual connection logs again to see what the connection is doing.

i play with more than one client, i can see one client getting 1.2kms spikes of lag and then disconnecting while the other client runs perfectly fine.

it simple, this CANT possibly be a connection issue on the client side, otherwise both clients would be affected. this is a problem on your side. and its not a general problem as it affects some incoming connections to your server.

people have already reported many times that it seems to come at specific hours of the day. i get them at around 22hrs east, then again at 1am but its in no way reliable.

and btw, im not on the US. so this is not ISP related, but it still could be a routing issue.
I have been getting disconnected repeatedly using Roadrunner/Bright House. Tried using my ATT as well and while it does seem to work better it still disconnects. This has been a problem for over two weeks.
Also, when in a raid instance I haven't been disconnecting, however as soon as I have ported out of the instance and back to the Emerald Dreamway I disconnected.
There are times when I have been able to stay online for anywhere from 10 minutes to a couple of hours, other times I can't stay online for more than a minute or two.

Tonight I haven't been able to stay online for more than a couple of minutes using either Roadrunner or ATT.

I had Roadrunner/Bright House tech out yesterday and they checked everything. My router, my connections from router to box, and all the lines into my box and found nothing.

It's a bit difficult for me to believe that with the variety of internet providers people are reporting connection problems with, the fact it only happens with WoW, and that it started after Tuesday maintenances, that it's on the end of the individual.

Blizzard has been posting the same cut-and-paste responses for two weeks now, blaming everything from wifi connections to internet provider (even though it's numerous ones being reported)it's time that they got off their duffs and figured out what they broke several weeks ago, and fix it!

Edit: I can't stay online tonight to do anything. In fact, some of the time battlenet launcher doesn't stay connected long enough for me to even log on.
I know it's not my wifi, as only the Roadrunner connection is through wifi, my ATT is direct. So I know it's not that. But I knew that yesterday when the tech was out.
Blizzard needs to get out of denial and fix this!

I work for Comcast. Let me know the following:

* Geographic location (city, county, etc)
* If you are in a single family home, an apartment, a condo, dorms, etc.
* What cable model are you using
* If you have tried https://speedexperience.xfinity.com/
* If it is just WoW or other games

I'll keep an eye on the thread.

Thanks Vitandus it appears that I have a single band wireless gateway according to the website you gave. I'm in an apartment, Hackettstown, NJ, Warren County. i'm using a Arris Interactive, L.L.C. TG862G modem. I just purchased a ARRIS SURFboard DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem to replace it with. I've had nothing but problems with Comcast since moving in here. I have issues with WOW, plus my son has issues with his XBox One. Thanks for the heads-up. Hopefully this will help.
I don't know if this will help anyone else. But I was having the 319 issue as well until recently I changed my DNS servers on my router. I had them set to OpenDNS - I reverted them to my ISP and restarted the modem. I haven't seen a 319 issue in the past 8 hours since doing this,

I had this issue on both Mac & Win 7/10 until I made the above change.

Apartments are always a tricky one for us, since we have very little insight or control over the cable running within the complex. Builders are often reluctant to spend the extra dollar per unit to run cable correctly. I know that's not comforting, but wanted to be totally transparent.
Hackettstown is upstate NJ, right? Should be solid there - HQ is down the state and across the border, and we make sure we keep our home happy.
Odd if you just moved you didn't get the XB3 cable modem. The local market will sometimes not put people on the newest and greatest. That said, good move on trying a different cable modem.

Please don't hesistate to ping me for help. I am Vitandus on Zul'jin and I will do what I can to get the right people involved.

Who is your ISP? Curious.

Shaw - Southern AB. Still no issues in 24 hours.
Just got this error, and Comcast has reported outages in my area. Yesterday we had two nasty back to back power surges, too. :(

Burbs of Chicago, Illinois.
