Why are the alliance evil?

General Discussion
Honestly the Horde is so much better than the Alliance, the Horde is only doing what they have to in order to survive (The only reason they have to do these things is because the Alliance is putting them in this position). Furthermore, so many other things y'all have done have just been horrible. The Lich King, Jaina (She's a Dreadlord), and sooooo many others. The majority of the bad things the Horde has done has been strongly, strongly influenced by the Alliances !@#$ not being together.
We aren't evil. After all, we're pretty.

The majority of pretty people I have met have been evil, thank you for sealing my point

The Lich King,
Lordaeron, not Stormwind. He's closer to the Forsaken, who are members of the Horde, than the Alliance.

Jaina

Also not Alliance. She made it very clear she was neutral back when she wanted peace, now the alliance wants peace and she doesn't so she's still neutral.

You aren't pretty. After all, you're an all star.
This is a Tolkien style fantasy, therefore humans, elves, dwarves, hobbits (I mean....Gnomes), space goats, werewolves, panda bears, aka the beautiful people, are the good guys.

The ugly races, elves with scary green eyes, and mean panda bears are the bad guys.

yep.
that's why Garrosh stuck Theramore civilians on spikes and let the Kor'kron have parents battle to the death, using their children as leverage.

"B-but that's not the Horde, since Vol'jin's Revolution fought him!"
Except how much of the Horde was all for Garrosh until he started going all "orc supremacy" on you? It was fine when it was someone else, but once he started bullying your blood elves you got upset.

The Lich King, Jaina (She's a Dreadlord), and sooooo many others
The Lich King was Ner'zhul, an orc, who influenced and corrupted Arthas. Not saying Arthas is blameless, but there wouldn't have been a Lich King if not for the Horde. In regards to Jaina, now it's super obvious you're trolling.

Thrall put the orcs in their lousy position by having them settle in a desert when they could have just as easily settled in the Barrens, which would be nearer to Mulgore and have more fertile land.

The Horde is and always will be the aggressors, for better or for worse. There's nothing wrong with liking the Horde or being on that side of things, but if things are all shades of gray, the Horde is quite a few shades darker than the Alliance.

So?

Gul'dan is an orc, does that mean the horde is evil because it has orcs? Zul'jin is a troll, does that mean the Horde is evil because it has trolls? Kael'thas was an elf, does that mean the Horde is evil because it has elves?

Judging the whole race by the worst members of it paints the Horde much worse then the Alliance, so you might want to reconsider that line of thought.

Ner'zul was a corrupted Orc from Sargares' blood not even part of the Horde, and Jaina is definatly a dreadlord

Humans are nasty
I remember a conversation with Varian during a quest chain in Mists of Pandaria. He says something to the effect that the Alliance and the Horde aren't equivalent, and they aren't just different flavors of heroes for Azeroth to call on. The Horde is an unreliable, mongrel lot which at its best opposes even worse entities out of self-interest and at its worst is downright villainous.

As the King related to me before his untimely death, the Alliance is and always has been Azeroth's last, best hope. Some people just prefer playing edgy antiheroes.

1) The Lich King was originally an Orc. Ner'zhul. He was defeated but eventually possessed the prince of Lordaeron (which is not and was never a part of the current Alliance).

2) Jaina is not a Dreadlord. That is an online conspiracy theory with very little actual evidence and no in game confirmation.
