Join us live on Thursday, March 16, at 11:00 a.m. PDT, as we sit down with Lead Game Designer Matt Goss for our next live developer Q&A where he’ll be answering your World of Warcraft: Legion itemization questions.

You can submit your questions here in this thread or on Twitter by using the hashtag #LegionQA.

As a reminder, please keep your questions short (40 words or less) so that we can get to as many questions as possible. We look forward to you joining us live on Thursday!
Why is there so much haste on rogue gear when haste is our worst stat by far?
Itemization hmm....

The Nightborne have cool looking weapons and gear, eg items, when if ever will we able to get some of those for transmog?
1: Why do spec specific legendaries not have the best secondary stats for that class on them? Enhancement Shaman Legendaries with crit are weird when we have no crit synergy.

2: With Tier gear giving such mandatory bonuses, it's not super fun when you're trying to figure out "which pieces are the least bad" for stats. Would it be possible for secondaries on these pieces to be spec specific?

3: Can Enhancement Shamans gets some ideas on what's going to happen with Akainu's? This was mentioned as a problematic legendary, but nothing beyond that on how it'll be fixed to provide a benefit without Hailstorm.
3UPDATE: Upping the damage bonus does not address that Frostbrand is not worth casting without a talent, making the effect useless. Enhancement does not now have the spare Maelstrom for Hailstorm/Frostbrand when our Maelstrom instead is spent on LLs to get more Stormstrikes because THAT is the primary aspect of our damage.

4: (Almost forgot this one.) Any plans for Shamans to get some other form of Frost damage to use the last 3rd of Eye of the Twisting Nether's 3 part benefit? Without Hailstorm, we're limited to 2 of the 3 pieces, which is really weird. No other source of repeatable Frost damage like Elemental can do with at least Elemental Blast.
Do you believe secondary stats still add depth to gameplay beyond hoping for the right drops? As late as MoP, a single spec had "haste builds" v. "mastery builds." Now most specs favor one stat (or item level above all), no matter the build.
What was the rationale behind giving Whispers in the Dark a very low PPM while melee have powerful, reliable options with Convergence of Fates or Draught of Souls? It feels like casters got the short end of the stick for Nighthold trinkets.
Do you feel that the adjustments to secondary stats in 7.1.5 achieved your goals?
Why do I need a degree in advanced mathematics to work out if a trinket is any good or not?
Why do some legendaries have effects that should really be baked into a given spec to make it playable?
What is this Q&A actually about ? I mean more specific so if I actually do have a question I can ask .
Dps legendary are still largely better and stronger than utility legendary. The previous round of balance clearly failed. Thoughts?
Yes, what exactly is this QA all about?
Doesn't seem to be generating a lot of responses.
Holy Paladin T20 set bonus was mentioned as being an experiment. Are any changes planned in the near future? I personally do not like how this set will require more complex macros, and make aiming LoD feel less fluid.
Some classes hate certain secondary stats. Are there plans to improve the value of these stats in 7.2?
Are there plans to make more exciting tanking trinkets in Tomb of Sargeras?
Will we see more items like Drape of Shame with an effect which can be worth upwards of 50 item levels in most cases?
Legion transformed gearing levels from a hard "staircase" of difficulties to a smoother curve thanks to Titanforging. This has made gearing more accessible in a very positive way, but has caused issues at the top for people chasing BiS pieces. Are there plans to keep this system in some form beyond Legion while alleviating the issues at the extreme end of min/maxing?

(Sorry, if anyone can find a way to shorten that question down I'd appreciate it)
Will destruction warlocks ever see haste/crit gear or are there plans for us to benefit from the less desirable stats. Our mastery is bad and the stat changes done recently had little effect on us.
Will we see reforging or some variation of it make a return? Gear customization in MoP was a fun part of the game for many of us between all the gems, enchants, and reforging.
Is there going to be anything done to lessen the power of Drape of Shame for healers as the expansion goes on?

It will be Best in Slot regardless of item level for a lot of healers, lessening choices available for swapping tier pieces depending on other gear obtained.
