I still think they should be updating us here. And fixing that 500 internal server error when trying to access the forums list.

Me too but apparently the log in servers are down across all their games though.

I'm not a twelve year old girl. I don't use twitter. They have official game forums they should update us here or !@#$ off.

I stopped using Twitter after Milo got banned.

Im going to upvote you to get you back to neutral. While I loathe blizzards tweet first policy downvoting you is shooting the messenger.
I think it's hilarious that Blizzard can't simply copy and paste all their twitter comments to these forums.
We will be mailed an update via USPS. Expect delivery in 4-6 weeks.

Like it or not, the universe is moving on. Social media is becoming a favored point of contact for many companies. At some point we all have to adapt to a certain extent.

That being said, Vrakthis is maintaining a thread in Customer Support--which is usually the first place you can find information on things of this nature.

The news is the same no matter what channel--they're aware, they're working on it, they don't know when it will be resolved.

Yeah, because we need to know why the server is broken. It's OUR server after all, that WE can improve to make sure this doesn't happen again. The server techs at Blizzard probably have more talent in their little toe than you do in your whole body.
I actually made a twitter account just for updates when stuff happens, because sometimes the forums are down as well .
