Frost DK or fury warrior for pve?

Warrior
Looking for an alt (strictly pve) and asking this in both forums. It'd be great if I got feedback from people that play both classes but at least this way I can get opinions from people that play one of the classes.

If you play both which do you find more fun and why?
If you only play one what do you find fun about the class?
Fury Warrior.
Frost DK performs worse and has much more boring play style and zero mobility.

Literally wrong. Frost DK is better than Fury in Nighthold. Period.

That being said- If Fury doesn't get necessary buffs/changes for Tomb, we're gonna be trash anyway.

downvoted for being right lol??

And what happens once we lose our Nighthold/T19 items? We're still going to be anywhere near the top? The problem with Fury is fundamental.
Fury is more fun and more mobile, which is why I have a 110 Fury War too. But that's not to say Frost isn't fun - it still is.
Frost is much easier to play, but doesn't even match the damage potential fury has to offer. I have a frost dk that's a higher ilvl and fury blows it right out of the water.

Downside to fury is the reliance of both convergence of fates and draught of souls.

Frost lacks serious mobility, but has decent utility. Also frost has the ability to burst heal back to full health. Fury has a much higher health pool to work with and better mobility that can get you out of harms way instantly.

Frosts self heals can hinder dps and the rotation, fury has bloodthrist and it is part of the main rotation in general.
The rotation for fury is less forgiving and it requires more CD managment more than frost's breath/storm builds. Frost is more of a 4 button game of wack-a-mole.

Without those key trinkets however, I still pull better dps with fury. I can hit a mob of 5 on a rime proc for about 1 mil dps. Battle Cry and Odyn's Fury can hit for 1.7 mil on average. I can sustain fury's dps with Whirlwindnd whereas frost will lose some DPS if rime procs become infrequent.
Fury all the way.

My 892 ilvl fury with 2 set bonus and both trinkets opens with 3 mil dps burst and pulls 680k dps over 5 minutes.

My bros frost dk is 899 ilvl and pulls way less on the same single target
Actually recently came from a frost dk.
A quick summary from my own point of view;

Frosty is powerful, and simple. Mobility is balls, but still capable of doing all fights. utility for a wide variety of situations. great class and spec.

Fury Warrior; OMG I CAN JUMP FOREVER@!~!~ AND I GET TWO CHARGES!? THIS IS AMAZING!~
bit worried about fury in the future. Our CoF reliability isn't exactly fun. Still, not going back any time soon.
Played Frost DK since Wrath until Legion where I have mained this warrior. They have an easy rotation that pushes out serious damage. Yes there is a little bias in this thread from my fellow warriors (as there should be in a warrior forum) but a good Frost DK can absolutely rival us in DPS in Nighthold and mythic dungeons. They are top tier just like we are but are not tied to a damn trinket. Plus the concern for Tier 20 is very real for us fury warriors.

As stated above though, the mobility of Fury is just so amazing. I can never go back. Jumping, charging, execute charge in BG's, etc. It is so freaking fun.
i started as frost but It just seemed empty or not as polished as fury.
Fury seems alot deeper in terms of multipliers like frothing berserker, battle cry, Avatar, enrage window. Just on and on lining things up its alot more versatile imo.
I hear warrior wont be too great come nighthold but I dont even care anymore its just flat out fun, the battle cries and enrage stuff just gets me pumped they got the feel right I think.
my /played is 7 days 4 hours on this character and I just love it.
I would go with whichever one has the best legendaries if you don't prefer one over the other. Both are fun in pve and pvp. I like fury better but frost is a lot of fun. Or just play both it's your money and your time.
Having played both, Fury for sure is more fun and fluid. I like the lore/style of both though but the mobility on DK is cancer.
I actually switched from my frost dk which has always been my main. Fury simply is more exciting to play to me in pretty much all aspects.

I also despise the BoS build.

- Accurate.

Frost dk requires legendary's to maintain runic power for breath of frost spec which is fun, average difficulty and does a ton of dmg.

Fury warrior requires DoS to be on par with literally anything. Fun spec, a lot of mobility, but will drastically fall off in ToS. Based on experience, they won't buff fury for another few months until everyone has given up on it.
Frost if you want more aoe, Fury if you don't want to be 20 ft behind the group at all times.

I play both and they're both crazy fun, but I think frost is better for mythic+, while fury is way more fun for raiding (since you don't wait on resources, you're just building fury)
