BFA beta Spell/Talent Changes

Hunters and Warlocks seem to be getting the most changes so far. Steady Shot, yo.

Tremor Totem back, Tranq Shot back, Soothe and Hibernate back, Death's Advance back...

Damage seems to be nerfed across the board.

Thoughts on your class changes?
Enhance:
Earth Shield and Lighting Shield for enhance? OH HAPPY DAY!

Windfury baseline talent? The melee cleave may be strong in this one.

Ele:
I see a potential for a Lightning bolt spam Ele that could be effective. Only using lava burst on the surge proc's

One day my dream of and elemental controlling elemental spec will come true. By that I mean we get all 4 (possibly 5) elements to summon. Each, if used properly, will be off CD by the time the remainder are used. I want primal elementalist to be a thing

Then of course you got your normal lava burst spec to work off of. /yawn

Upset I do not see an Ice Fury. I really liked that talent just of the philosophy and idea of it. Tapping into the most passive and restorative element just to throw a !@#$ing ice spear through your target.

Is it similar to the old Dark Simulacrum ability or does it function differently (aside from being able to give it to a friend)?
They can take those ret pally changes and shove them up their @$$.

Requires Death Knight
Requires level 73
Steals a beneficial magic effect from the target. This effect lasts a maximum of 2 min.

Activating this spell again will transfer the effect to a friendly target.


Way more reliable than Dark Sim.

With DS, you put a debuff on the target and hoped they would use a good spell and not juke and throw out a Feather Fall or something. TS straight up steals a buff instead.

Leg Sweep/Transcendence nerf is feelsbadman.

No Hurricane Strike or Zen Meditation return is feelsbadman.

Legion SEF appears to be staying which is feelsbadman.

Well, at least some of the new talents are cool, I guess....
I'm curious if the new Soothing Mist tooltip means they're reverting it back to pre-Legion mechanics (or how it works with AMA now), or if it's just the datamined AMA Soothing Mist... because AMA should be baseline again.
As long as I still we ride in single file to hide our numbers.

It'll be interesting to see how the game plays after all these damage nerfs - they seem pretty substantial. Kinda hard to judge if a lot of the other changes are good or bad until we see what the pace of the game is like.

Yea This is a pretty poor Beta build they have going, Ret and WW look especially bad.

I wish I understood why they need to do these drastic changes on necessary cool downs knowing full well they won't go through. Example being Ret mobility CD's.

Does it just help the math process while balancing?
