Horde done for?

General Discussion

Considering there going through horde warlords like paper there gonna run out a viable option at some point... there going to have to introduce some new strong candidates soon I was excited to finally see a female lead and hope to see more but Sylvanas may be my only hope at a women in charge I feel and she'll prob get killed off soon for being sketchy -.-

No doubt intentional. The whole revolving door on the Warchief situation feels like a classic New Coke style ploy to make Thrall look more appealing again.

Well to be fair that is pretty much what is happening in Stormwind after Saurfang and friends get captured. Horde pretty much just waltz straight in and right back out before the prison bunk gets warm.

So yeah I am expecting something equally as lame to hand-wave away literal orbital strikes.

Wait, seriously? We capture Saurfang and the Horde just... gets him back? That's it?

What are we losing for this Alliance "victory"? Do we even get to keep Lordaeron?
You don't have Lordaeron anyway. It belongs to the Forsaken.

Yup. Datamined from the Alpha. Saurfang gets captured during the Undercity battle and the Horde have a scenario to bust him out before the ink on the paperwork is even dry.

At this point Stormwind may as well be the Arkham Asylum of the Warcraft world.

If Saurfang had half a brain, he'd have taken over instead claiming he's too old blah blah blah....Blizzards writer's block...blah blah blah

Saurfang should've been Warchief instead of Vol'Jin from the very beginning.

I cancelled my sub for awhile when Vol'Jin was outed as the next Warchief pre-SoO going live.

Saurfang was a better option in pretty much every way. He'd be a leader, not a frontlines warrior. That age excuse is for the birds.

He represents the best qualities of the Horde and is a warrior respected on both sides of faction lines. He'd put Anduin's forced diplomacy skills to shame as a true leader, it's fairly obvious not a single significant Horde character respects Anduin's position.

Your lightforged Draenei will fold as soon as Velen does.

You don't know a lot about the lightforged, I see...

If you really think a group of fanatical draenei who have been fighting demons for thousands of years, who have been transformed by the light itself into living war machines, who have the original technology of the eredar civilisation at their beck and call, would quit the battlefield... Especially because of Velen, who they've only just now seen again after thousands of years, runs away? Turalyon is their leader, not Velen. Yeah, you reached a tiny bit for that one. Just a tiny bit, though...
Leadership might be shaky, but considering the Horde just gained two huge new territories with Highmountain and Suramar (while the Alliance gained a spaceship and a bunch of refugees), I'd say the horde are going to be just fine.
Can't wait For Next Garrosh to happen SoO 2 the forsasken fornt
Because we're just that much better than you.

That's why you need plot armour and Blizzard's hand waving to avoid consequences.
I miss Garrosh, I liked his crazy personality in a fantasy game such as WoW. He was a crazy badass, but also a skilled strategic warrior who would do anything for the Horde.

I'm hoping for a siege of Stormwind, and kill some crazy Jaina or Alliance leaders hehehe.

Unlike Velen's crew, we've been chasing the Legion around the universe for 25K years. We never fold.

You should probably kill your own crazy leader first, before going after Alliance characters who are aggressive against the Horde.

Oh no, orcs! So scary! I bet they have c-c-c-catapults! Whatever shall we do?

Lose because Blizzard can never let Alliance have the upper hand and use it. The Vindicaar is going to get bombed by something, either another stolen artifact or just plague nonsense. Never mind the fact it's in orbit.

The Lightforged are already constructing warframes in Stormwind. Are those going to blow up too? How many High Mountain eagle-riders can a warframe incinerate with holy fire before they get bored?

It's a trick question. That would never get boring.
Alliance scum. I cannot wait to feast on Anduin's corpse and send Jaina and Genn to the Nexus permanently.

Undercity might fall. But, we needed a change anyways. Naxxrammas will suit us well.

The Horde seems to have a leadership crisis — all the real leaders are dead or gone, got gutted by a civil war and wrecked in Legion. How are they even a viable faction any more?

With the Horde anyone can earn the right to lead. Unlike the Alliance, where Genn should lead for now at least since Anduin is a child. You are being led to war by someone who has yet to finish puberty. When Varian was king I would follow him anywhere, Anduin... He needs an escort just to go use the outhouse. I mean even Night Elves, some thousands of years old all under the command of a boy? Terrible to rally behind for me at least. I will follow the Dark Lady before a child leads me.

Blood Elves still have titan blood golems from The Throne of Thunder in their arsenal.

I imagine that will be The Hordes answer to Warframes.

That or those absolutely destructive Goblin Warframes we saw on Draenor.
Thrall is still out there, wonder if they going to bring him back.. humm
