Blizzard IP address trying to access port 80 on my network

Technical Support
Sorry if this has been posted before. In checking my router logs, I noticed that an IP address is attempting to connect to my home network on port 80. This happens many times per day. Doing a reverse lookup on the IP address in question reveals that it is owned by Blizzard Entertainment. Sample below....

Why is Blizzard trying to access the default http port (80) on my home network?

Hey Melsum,

Port 80 is the World Wide Web port. It's generally open in order to use the World Wide Web. The Blizzard Application shows news to display from the web, which probably what the router is displaying as well.

The "DoS Attack:RST Scan" is a normal and not something to be worried about. It just means the router is dropping certain traffic. In this case, TCP reset packets and flagging as a potential attack, then dropping it.
24.105.29.21 = launcher.worldofwarcraft.com

This is the news displayed on the Breaking News pane of the character select screen.

It checks this page regularly and if there's anything to display then it displays it.

Don't worry it's legit.
