I really really really really miss being able to outgear the content in the world. I miss getting powerful at the old level caps. There is no power progression in the game for 110 levels. It really sucks.
Its kind of sad that the only thing WoW related i do anymore is check this post and mmo champ every few days to see if they have fixed anything or plan on it.

i feel ya... im still lurking arround waiting for those news too.
This game is dead; move along please and come back next expansion.
I still think this is an issue and i think there are a ton of reasonable fixes posted in this thread please do something about this Blizzard.
Almost both avenues suck atm for WoW.. if an xpac wasnt going well, i relied on leveling my alts.. but now leveling alts is a grind that takes way too long, and BFA is... sadly looks like it should still be in beta.

I used to love hitting 78 on a new alt and then buying cata greens/blues and being a monster for a few levels :D

BFA is... sadly looks like it should still be in beta.
They're doing something different this go, each beta build is labeled as a "patch" i.e 8.1 is the next beta build!

There were plenty when 7.3.5 was still in the ptr also. Anything from buffing the xp gains up some, if you use heirlooms, to a tabard that gave you some added xp which I personally liked. Or add wrist, waist, gloves, and boot heirlooms with a modest amount of xp. Options for everyone. Want to take in the scenery, and level at a slow pace, then don't equip looms, and level up using quest reward, and dungeon gear. There was a lot of feedback in plenty of the leveling threads. Yes some were not so great ideas, but for the most part most were really good ones.

Blizzard knows what needs to be done, I just hope that they revert the changes that pissed us off; They know what they are and as you said all the feedback is written within this thread and many others like it; Also many are written in the PTR Bug and Beta forums but Blizzard released this half baked expansion anyway and I can't believe they didn't know that it would piss many players off.

One thing I did notice is that the PTR is active (But Unplayable at least for me) and numerous patches have been implemented over the past few days, I also noticed that when you click on the patch notes it shows the latest patch as being 7.3.0; All we can do is hope that they have heeded our feedback and are doing something to make us happy. (Hopefully Anyway)

I hope your right. This alt leveling situation has killed much of my interest in this game all im doing now is being a filthy raid logger which is reducing my time/played heavily.

imho another reason they didn't want to add anymore looms, or buff the xp on existing ones, is because they knew they would be adding the warmode feature. Which is fine, if you are into the pvp aspect of the game. But it kinda shafted the pve only part of the playerbase. I mean there were reasons why people chose to be on certain realms. Granted some folks on pve realms would flag themselves for shizz, and giggles, but most people didn't on those realms, because it was a aspect of the game they have no interest in. Same for pvp only players. They chose those realms for more of the pvp part. Anyhow they would have to make warmode a 100% bonus xp buff that stacks with looms before I would ever enable warmode.

Yep, Everything is all screwed up all the way from level 1 to level 120 + Mythic.

In all the years I've been playing Warcraft I've never seen the game in this poor state that it is in now.
My night is spent doing... 1 dungeon... for one level. Questing is just as slow

this is awful

It sucks badly, No getting powerful and going back to kick that one NPC's butt that gave you a hard time, Power progression is a thing of the past, Sigh.....
I just wish I could enjoy leveling like I used to. For a self proclaimed altoholic, I've been doing a whole lot of only playing this character. :/
All in all this is the most lackluster experience blizzard has delivered.

As always, we appreciate your feedback and will continue to keep a close eye on the pacing of the leveling experience in 7.3.5 and beyond.

No, you really won't keep a close eye on anything.

They sure as hell weren't keeping a close eye on the game, otherwise they wouldn't have released it like this.

Yeah but you still 'hid' the Dungeon XP nerf from the actual patch notes.

It's your game, your rules. But you don't get to say you want feedback and discourse only to then turn around and say 'nah, screw it, not interested.' There's absolutely no point in ASKING for feedback in the first place.

Irrespective of intent it's coming across as you guys (Probably not you, blue poster) trying to avoid having a discourse with us about things. There's literally no feedback being taken into account and every avenue people have used to level at a speed they feel happy with has been nerfed.

For those who enjoy slow levelling I'm happy for you. But for those of us on our eight, ninth or tenth alt ..well there should be an option for us, too, that isn't like pulling teeth. That was having a friend carry us. That was having heirlooms. That was RAF award. Now those are gone. Now what?

You guys should know better but you keep doing this stuff. People are screaming at you via constant posts about how levelling feels bad for them. There are obviously folk who are enjoying this new system but for those of us who want to make our way through it at good speed Heirlooms and dungeon carries should NOT have been nerfed. All you're doing is building ill will towards yourselves - and for no relatable reason.

You have made leveling take too long. You have given enemies too much health. You have slowed the leveling process to a crawl and no one should be getting punished by using exploits to try and get around that. People want to dungeon chain. People want their heirlooms to be strong so they can level quickly. It is the explicit god damn purpose of them - so you can blow through old content. We paid for them. We paid to upgrade them. We want to be able to quickly level. We want to be able to dungeon chain. And we will not be able to dungeon chain - it will not be viable again - until enemy health is reduced and the pointless heirloom nerf is reverted.

The GOOD is that I can quest in any zone I want (within reason) up until certain brackets. I LOVE that I can actually finish Westfall if I want to, or go there at level 50. What I don't like is how long it takes to hit a level. It's too arduous.

You think leveling is slow? How long have you been playing?

All of you just buy a character boost and shut up. Problem solved.

No thanks.
