Did Wow monthly charge go up?

Customer Support
I just looked at my bank records online and it shows I was charged 16.45 for WoW this month. When did the price go up?

It's possible that your locality is collecting sales tax now. That changed for a lot of people quite recently.
This was posted in General Discussion a few days ago about some states adding additional taxes to online purchases. I pay just about that much and I have for quite some time now due to living in one of them.

Oh that could be as TN has been collecting taxes on internet bought items, but 16.45 is a bit much for a monthly fee for a game imo.

Thank you! We are one of "those" states.

The monthly fee for the game hasn't changed ($15.00), your State has added almost 10% in taxes cost.

I'm in AL, we got hit a few years ago.

*Technically* in most states where online retailers don't have a physical presence the consumer is supposed to pay the sales tax for online purchases directly to the state.

And states quickly discovered that the consumer won't do that. Ever.

It's only $1.45 more than you're paying now. Me bein in Texas I pay 16.21 now so I pay a few cents less than you but I am still only paying 1 buck more. Try not to get worked up.
