Books that you could not finish

Movies, TV and Entertainment
Hey Tovi, I quit just before Battle launch. Basically I just wasn't having fun any more and I truly hate scaling zones. Because it is a cheap and lazy way to program I don't think they will ever go away so I took myself away. My good-bye thread was here:

Hey guys! I'm here on the 3 day pass. I have been following this forum since I've been gone (who? what? gone??).

I wondered where you went.

Is this where we old folks hide now? (This is Jujubiju).

I tried to read The Stand a bunch of times, but never made it past page 50.

it does start a bit slow, but it's worth the early struggle. give it another try, and push your way through, you won't regret it.
'Unfinished Tales' and 'The Children of Hurin'

I barely made it through all of the 'Silmarilion', I just can't do Tolkein deep lore anymore.

I still terrorize the GD :)
Find myself doing this more often lately with my Kindle Unlimited choices.

But, historically, at least for me... the book I simply cannot finish is J.R.R.Tolkein's "The Two Towers"

Read "Fellowship of the Ring" and liked it.

But no matter how many times I attempt "The Two Towers" I lose interest about the time Merry and Pippin come across a cask of tobacco from the Shire. "a good vintage" they said.

And then I put the book down, and find a new one.
