Mob Scaling

There are a lot of people complaining about leveling and how long it takes to kill mobs and that mobs have higher health than max level legion mobs.

But then you got a group of people that claim that's not true and it's all just a lie.

So I got bored and decided I'm gonna fly around and take a couple pictures to prove these people wrong.

I will post links to the pictures as proof but also show the health here for those to lazy to click a picture.

1.) Vanilla: Mob level 61 Health 3088

2.) Burning Crusade: Mob level 81 Health 5191

3.) Wrath: Mob level 81 Health 5059

4.) Pandaria: Mob level 91 Health 6519

5.) WoD: Mob level 101 Health 11228

6.) Legion: Mob level 111 Health 4332

7.) Legion (Broken Shore): Mob level 111 Health 5486

Scaling is screwed up and needs fix there is no reason mobs in Wrath-WoD should have more health than legion mobs. Especially WoD mobs having more than twice as much.

Leveling is not okay it's broken anyone who says mob health is fine is way wrong.

THIS IS NOT OKAY. I just figured we needed some picture proof this time.
The people that are saying it's not an issue will literally say anything to protect their beloved Blizzard.

It's the most important relationship many of them have ever had.
You think that's bad?

That's pretty crazy. However those are not quest mobs for getting to 90, and those were never intended to be soloed at 90.
I stopped leveling in Draenor.

There's just so many mobs I can kill with 5 GCDs of arcane missiles that I began to go slightly insane.

And the '!' Quest mobs... Spending 3 minutes on one kill... No thank you.
I noticed this myself. I was out in thunder totem on my highmountain at level 40 or something. A mob outside had 7k health. I'm a tank and I have more health than that. Of course I tried to solo it and noticed they don't actually one shot you, but you can't really kill it because you can't hit it.
At my level all the mobs have 3.5k hp except named quest mobs that have 6.5-9k

For reference my pyroblast crits for 1k and fireball hits for ~200.
It's fairly obvious the people saying leveling is okay are either trolling or 100% oblivious to the problems.

The scaling is just plain out wrong. There is no logical reason a mob that is level 101 should have more than twice as much health as a level 111 mob. It's just pure insanity.
Be careful, all Blizzard will really do if they see this and other info like it is triple the health and hitting power of Legion and Broken Shore mobs. ;)

And they'll do it in short order, too. ;)
Scaling needs to be fixed, this is ridiculous.
theyve already admitted that low level tuning is messed up. they focused on legion and bfa content and are planning on going back to fix pre-legion content.

we will have to be patient.
With Legion now part of the base game, I made a new demon hunter on my main account. At level 104, Warlords rares that I had previously been able to kill on a fresh level 90 were kicking my butt. I simply could not make a dent in their health, while they piled on massive damage to mine. Even normal trash mobs were too difficult to take on more than one at a time until I hit 105+ (when they finally turned green). Warlords content is now basically harder than Legion content.
60-80 is by far the worst. Nearly spent twenty hours just in that bracket. But to be fair, I went from 80-110 in about 10ish hours so that was a breeze. Source - did 80-110 over this past weekend.

I recommend conslegion to everyone, even at lower levels you can have the auto quest stuff and that speeds it up.
Wow, op actually did the math and research.

Ok. Not that I've been saying scaling was fine, but I'll ensure not to going forward.
if go by that scaling Legion mobs should have 14kish not 5k
I finally got around to leveling my mage the other day, and going through WoD was brutal. If I got an add I was busting all my CDs trying to stay alive. Then I got to Legion and facerolled all the content.

I hope, when they fix scaling, they keep it more in tune with what Legion was like and not what WoD was like.
Leveling with my mage alt in Wrath content was miserable. I'm in full heirlooms and I need to be extremely cautious about adds whenever I pull. I feel extremely squishy and can barely handle 2-3 mobs at the same time.

I just played with my brand new 110 DH alt wearing blues/greens and it's a breeze in comparison. Not gonna bother leveling my alts until Blizz fixes this.

The problem with this is people are currently trying to level to play different classes during BFA. This is literally prime time for people to come back to the game in preparation for the new expansion. It should be the #1 thing they are fixing and not, soon to be, raids that are pointless.

only fixing damage outputs, they are not touching hp values
they fixed 1-100 zone mobs
they just recently fixed low level dungeons tanks shouldnt be 1 shoted anymore
They may not be one shot, but they sure as hell didn't fix all the dungeons. A boss that puts a hot on himself, that cannot be interrupted, and does more healing than the dps can put out, and guarantee kills melee is stupid.
