People fail to realize that GD find joy in complaining. If GD is not complaining about something or someone then something is very very wrong.

Sounds like a complaint...

“If you dislike the expansion, you’re a toxic troll looking for things to hate”
“If you like the expansion, you’re a fanboy white knight shilling for Blizzard”
“If you dislike the expansion, you're an addict who plays too much”
"If you like the expansion, you're a casual who doesn't play enough"
"If you dislike the expansion, you're playing the game incorrectly"
"If you like the expansion, you're an idiot who doesn't know any better"

It’s all just so exhausting.

Can’t people just live with others having their own experience with the game without needing to undermine those who don't agree with them?

such a Gnome thing to say
Only Blizzard will know which of those two audiences is the majority. I guess we'll know based on what questions they answer at the Q&A.

if the questions are light-hearted we know they are avoiding the issues.
If the questions are about the issues we know there are issues.

I'm certainly looking forward to the Q&A to confirm my biases.

Refusing to use labels makes OP your typical millennial.
Come on buddy

After that excellent "Blizzard I'm a business professional customer is always right" trolling debut I thought you'd develop better shtick than this

Historically, Blizzard dodges hard questions

This has nothing to do with labels as much as it does with the way people are interacting with each other. Everyone is allowed to have an opinion and people are allowed to disagree with it, but when someone is trying to constantly say your opinion is wrong, that's when I think of millennials with the whole "I'm right, you're wrong, shut up" attitude.

What if it’s an undead thing to say?

*gasp*
Word on that. It's true that a lot (and I mean A LOT) of the topics posted are demanding and rude. But even when someone pretty much says "Eh, I'm not really feeling this expansion" you get people jumping down their throats, telling them to leave, accusing them of being entitled, ect…

Defenders and detractors alike need to learn how to make a proportionate response to a proportionate problem.
"dismissing my experience" is another catchphrase that has outlived its usefulness
stop dismissing all the people telling you, you're wrong

Yes they can.

However, a good portion of these people who are unhappy with the current game offer no real insight.

"This game is BS. Change it now Blizz, or else!", is not constructive criticism, and offers no real solutions.

Those people are definitely not worth the time or effort in trying to make this game better.

Aren't people always complaining about the overabundance of labels millennials use? Like all of the random genders, influx of disorders, etc.

I get the impression this is his version of dry humour. You can tell because his actual trolling lacks any subtlety at all. ;)
no, ill say what i want to say

if you are enjoying it, then my comments should not be affecting you

I'm with you. I think the issue is almost exclusively related to people's presentation. It's never "I'm dissatisfied with aspect x and wish it would be changed" or "Aspect y is an exciting new feature that I want to see continue." It's always "this is the worst thing ever and you're all <casual baddies/tryhard no lives, depending on context> if you like it" or "this is an unqualified masterpiece, and you're an unwashed philistine if you don't like it." There is no gray. There is no middle ground. And I agree, it is exhausting.

BfA has been out for nine days. It has problems, sure, but it has an extremely solid foundation to build on. I wish people could acknowledge that and respond accordingly.
