Latency Spiking since 8.0 Launch

Technical Support
I have been experiencing latency spiking since the launch of 8.0. Others have mentioned the issue. The game will randomly delay for 10-25 seconds and there will be an MS spike. My internet is working fine, I have tested it while a spike was happening and nothing was different (running at 900+mbps upload and download speeds).

I have tried disabling addons. I have tried doing a flushing DNS via instructions from blizzard. I have tried power cycling my modem and connections. It was asked that I perform a WinMTR which I have done multiple times. Here are readings taken:

This reading had me starting out at 13ms when I started logged in and spiked up to 350+ms>

This reading I did before going into a dungeon where I experienced a lag spike during a boss fight. It was a fast heroic run.

This is just flying around Dalaran for 5-10minutes with mostly 13ms ping the whole time.

I'd really like to look into getting this issue resolved as it will lead to making it impossible to raid which will result in the end of my subscription as I won't be able to be a part of content. Any suggestions or info you can gather from these reports?
I second this. Been having the same problem ever since the patch dropped. Will go from 500ms to 3000ms.
Same. I've heard quite a few people having this issue.
Same problem happening here for the last 7-8 hours
been having this same problem since 8.0 most time MS goes up on the world side an not the home side I have also gone to family members house with my comp to make sure it wasn't my net an it happens there also an at the motel I stay at every week for work that I have never had a problem with there net before not sure what is going on but hope there is a fix soon
Can someone please re-link the instructions on how to do this? (A WinMTR) I've been having the same problems and would like to try to contribute to the solution. If this stays as it is, raiding in BfA won't be possible.

I have been browsing allot for threads like this. Client side is being blamed by every admin then they close the thread. I have a 150ms download speed and since inception have never had lag to this extreme case and Blizz just reports nothing wrong on their side and it would be very hard for them to detect. Play the game dev's, the amount of threads your closing off just ignoring the problem isn't going to get us anywhere. We know you all have the manpower, question wanes now is the new game with all the graphics improvements coming stable enough with the older servers built who knows how many xpacs ago. Excusable for now but I cannot imagine when ranked pvp starts and 5 seconds of lag hits them.... going to be allot of upsets
It will help blizzard most if you guys will create individual posts. I was also told it helps them to get the WinMTR data.

You can look into it more here as shared by technical support.

Create individual posts about the issue. Hopefully it will help Blizzard discover the problem on their end. It is a problem happening to too many players in the exact same manner on so many different ISP's to be related to an individuals home network.

This is also great because we can clearly see you tested it on different networks and different ISP's.
Zeniffdh,
First hop has significant packet loss and latency...

10.26.0.137 - 23 | 9 | 7 | 0 | 4550 | 4607 | 4596 |

23% packet loss and 4.5 second latency. That shows on the 2nd and 3rd winmtr, on the first it times out.

That could be your modem, or it could ve the first isp node. Have you powercycled your modem and router?

Also, run the winmtr for 5-10 minutes. Yours are very short samples.
Same thing here. It started after the latest patch. Lag spikes have become more continuous in the last day.
I tried all the troubleshooting steps in your network troubleshooting steps and then some and still the same situation. When it happens, The world latency spikes to any thing between 1000 ms to 7000 ms. here is my WinMTR data:

Oh, I think I understand. I didn't realize it compiled information over time so that is very helpful to understand and allow me to record for a period of time and it will capture during the "lag spike."

I pretty much captured the data as soon as I turned it on because the game was having a lag spike so that would be why the sample is so short. Now that I know how it works I'll capture it for a longer reading. I'll try that.
Any feedback or review of my information from Blizzard would be great...
